Gauri's pov -
I was in my office working when sakshi entered.
"Gauri ! Someone wants to meet you !" She said.
"Who is it ?" I asked.
"I don't know ! She said her name is Yadhica and she claims to know you !" She said .
"Send her in !" I said and she nodded before leaving .
"Hello gauri !" That woman said entering.
"Hello ! Do I know you ?" I asked her looking up at her not being to recognise her .
"No you don't but I do !" She said and i scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.
"Sorry i didn't quite catch that !" I said.
"You must know atharv !" She said .
"Yeah I do !" I said with my expressions changing .
"I am his wife !" She said and i was about to smile but stopped thinking why she was here ? Probably has some work of something .
"Have a seat !" I said and she took a seat across me .
"How are you ?" She asked.
"I am good ? What about you ?" I asked trying to be polite.
"I am also good ! Thanks for asking but your brother isn't !" She said and my expressions changed even though I didn't want to show my emotions infront of her in a way i still did .
"What happened to him ?" I asked growing a little concerned about him .
"Ever since he discovered that you are here , he has just been talking about you ! Even before that he was trying to find you even when your father strictly said no to him to do any of that ! He everyday looks at your childhood albums and keeps them in a locker so that he doesn't misplace them ! He let's no one touch them !" She said and i chuckled.
"So basically you are here to exaggerate about your husband !" I asked her .
"Gauri it's not li-
"It's exactly like that and I don't need anyone's embrace ! I have one person and he is more than enough for me so i would have to ask you to leave !"I said and she sighed but then got up and was leaving but stopped to say something.
"Gauri you still care for him and he cares for you so much ! You have no idea how much he loves you ! I know I have no right to ask you anything but it would mean the world to him and me if you could come home on rakhi !" She said before leaving.
"Thanks for the offer but it was not needed because I have spent a lot of rakhis alone so it won't be a big deal for me to spend this one alone too so thank you very much miss Yadhica but i very gently and politely would have to ask you to leave !" I said and then she left .
I leaned back on my chair sighing when a phone call interuppted my thoughts.
"What ?" I asked the person on the other side.
"How do you always know when it's me who is calling without even answering ?" He asked and i smiled before answering.
"Experience and now I know at what time you can call so i just estimate it and then I know it's you !" I said making him chuckle on the other side .
"Aditya i want to ask you something ?" I said .
"Yeah go ahead !" He replied .
"You don't have sister so who ties you rakhi ?" I asked.
"Sanjivini bhabhi and one of my cousins !" He replied .
"Oh !" I exclaimed.
"Why what happened ?" He asked.
"Nothing !" I replied.
"Something happened and you are not telling me !" He said and i sighed .
"How do you always know when I am hiding something ?" I asked.
"Experience baby ! It's all a game of experience !" He replied making me chuckle.
"Atharv's wife came and told me how her husband is sad about me not being in his life and how they would like if I could visit them on rakhi !" I said .
"I think you should go !" He said and i scrunched my eyes in confusion.
"Huh ?" I exclaimed.
"You have no one from that family of yours so I think you should go and meet him !" He said .
"If he is missing me so much then why can't that dumbo come and visit me ?" I asked.
"He must be feeling ashamed about everything and probably is thinking that you don't want to see him ever again !" He said and each and everything he was saying made sense .
"I have you all and that's sufficient for me !" I said.
"Gauri just because you don't want to accept the fact that you are missing him and that a part of your heart wants him to meet you and come see you , you don't have to do this you can atleast call him and tell him that you too want to meet him !" He said.
"No i won't !" I said like a grumpy kid and cut the call.
Aditya's pov -
She is like a grumpy little kid , never listens to anyone moreover me ! I guess i will have to do something now ..
On the day of rakhi ~ gauri's pov -
"Aditya now i need a gift from you !" Sanjivini bhabhi said holding out her hand after tying the rakhi on his hand.
"What do you want bhabhi ?" He asked .
"Ten crore rupees!" She said smiling cutely .
"All I can give you right now is my blessings !" He said cutely making all of us laugh .
"Gauri ! Come !" She said asking me to sit beside aditya and she took another rakhi which didn't seem quite like a rakhi .
"What is this bhabhi ?" I asked her .
"Since you are Aditya's wife and i tie him rakhi you then also count as my brother's wife and sisters tie lumba which is kind of a rakhi for your bhabhi !" She said tying me that.
"Guess you learn something new everyday !" I said laughing when I got a call and that call was important so i went ahead and picked it .
"Just a minute ! I am coming !" I said and left from there .
A few minutes later ~
"Aditya saksh- !" I entered and before i could have completed myself my eyes went to the other side of the room and found my dearest brother there ..
"Atharav what are you going here ?" I asked him and he stood up from his chair .
"Aditya called !" He said and i looked at aditya but he just arched his eyebrows before looking down acting like he was clueless.
"Why did you come even if he called ?" I asked him.
"Because I wanted to ! I just wanted to find an excuse so that i could meet you !" He said and i chuckled .
"Excuse me ? You couldn't find an excuse for straight how many years was it again ? 12 ?" I asked and he lowered down his head.
"And i- !" I was about to speak but was interrupted by someone pulling my dupatta from below .
I looked down and found a cute kid .
"Hi ! Who are you ?" I asked him .
"Parth !" He said and i smiled after hearing this name.
"He is my son !" Atharav said and i looked up at him and then at the kid .
"Yadhica did you keep that name or did atharav keep that name ?" I asked her .
"No ! Atharav did for some reason he really insisted on it !" She said and i looked at him .
Flashback ~
"Gauri ! Boo !" Little atharva was trying to scare gauri and she started crying .
"Gauri ! Don't cry ! Gauri if papa sees this he will beat me up ! Don't cry !Here have this ! My teddy bear !" Little atharva said offering gauri his teddy bear to stop her from crying .
"Yaayy !" Little Gauri danced with joy.
"You little monster ! All you wanted was my toy !" Little atharav said tickling little Gauri .
"No bhaiya ! I wanted your teddy not any other toy ! Hehe ! I am going to name him parth !" Little Gauri sqid and little atharav giggled before tickling her again .
Back to present ~
"Why did you keep his name parth ?"I asked him .
"Because you loved that name !"He said with his eyes glincing with tears .
I stood up and finally gave in ! I hugged him tightly and he also responded back by hugging me back .
"I missed you gauri !" He said hugging me .
"I missed you too Bhai !" I said .
"Why am I crying ?" We heard Yadhica say this and looked at her .
"I am sorry ! Did i ruin this beautiful moment ?" She asked making us all laugh .
"Come !" I said holding my hands and she also came and joined in our hugs.
"I also want to hug you !" The little one said pouting.
"No she will only hug me !" Chaarvi said keeping her hands on her waist like the boss she is and standing infront of me .
"Mumma this idiot girl is troubling me from the second i entered!" Little parth said making faces at chaarvi .
"You too are idiot!" Chaarvi said and they both started fighting like cats and dogs but we salvaged it and saved them from actually killing each other .
( enemies to lovers ? Should I write a book on that )
Some time later ~
"Now tell me what do you want ? I mean you have everything so i can't really make out what to give you !" He said as i tied the rakhi .
"I got the best gift anyone could have ever given me !" I said and he smiled .
"And you aditya ! Remember that I still know how to beat people up ! Trouble my sister and i will beat you up !"My brother said making all of us laugh at aditya's face .
"Don't worry bhaiya ! I will beat him up before you can reach him so yeah !" I said and both of us joined hands and aditya was looking at me in disbelief.
( Aditya be like - maar do saalo jinda mat chodo tum mujhe )
"What is my fault in this ! I was the one who called and now i am the one you are thinking about calling an ambulance for !" He said with that cute little face of his making all of us smile .
Every moment becomes the best when you are with the ones whom you love .....
