"Gauri ! Gauri ! Gauri !!" Aditya called or more so we can say that he shouted calling me.
"What is your problem now aditya ?" I asked getting annoyed because this was probably the tenth time he had called me.
"What are you doing ?" He asked like a little kid throwing his head back on the headboard.
"I am dancing ! Want to join ?" I said sarcastically.
"No because i am terrible at it and if you try to teach me I am very sure that it will result in only one parent of them remaining ." He said and i looked at the other side of the room and sighed in relief seeing that both of those monsters were asleep till now.
"Yeah that's right and for your kind information I am working because I have to look after ." I said picking up my laptop and sitting on the couch when i saw him get up and come to me and snatch my laptop out of my hands.
"Ad- what the hell do you think you are doing ?" I asked trying to get him to give me back my laptop but he held it up his head and yeah he is taller than me so there was no way i could reach it with external help.
So i jumped on the couch and snatched it out of his hands before he could have even had the time to think again.
"Wha- !" He stepped away causing me to fall but he caught me and pulled me closer to him.
"Gauri , when will you stop being so careless ? My love ." He said and i looked at him in his eyes before answering.
"And when will you stop protecting ne everytime I fall ?" I asked him and he looked at me smiling before replying.
"Not untill the end of this story !" He said and i smiled.
"And i know that you will be there everytime I fall !" I said and he tightened his grip on my waist .
"And i-- !" Before he could have said something else we got the cautionary call of our kids cries.
"There goes all your attention." He said as i laughed before leaving to get one of those tiny little mutt as aditya picked up his lovely daughter.
"Did I ever complain ? That your whole attention is now on your daughter and not my son ? You are practicing partiality." I said and he laughed on my comment.
"Well in my defence our daughter is really sweet and cute while your son is naughty and always creates an havoc ." He said and i looked at him offended.
"Hey ! You ! It's not like that my son is extremely well behaved !" I said and he looked at me.
"Do you really want to do this all over again !" He said as this was our daily routine on fighting upon which kid is better.
"Our daughter is like me and our son is exactly like you !" He said and i gave him a death glare.
"Well i would have disagreed but it is true but my son is much better than me ." I said making him laugh out loud when my phone rang.
"Ugghh ! I am not picking it up ." I said and he looked at me in confusion.
"And why is that ?" He asked.
"Because i damn sure that it's gonna be sakshi on the other hand . Ever since she has gotten Pregnant she hasn't let me live ." I said because from the past few months sakshi was pregnant and was continuously behind me crying , shouting and I had to deal with not only her but also a pregnant Sanjivini bhabhi as she had recently given birth to her daughter .
"Kashvi "
"I guess it's fair because she tolerated you too when you were on the highest of your anger ." He said and i again was offended.
"Oh Hello ! Excuse me ! I never got angry in my whole pregnancy i was calm as the ocean ." I said.
"Yeah ! When there's a tsunami." He said i looked at him with pure disgust in my eyes.
"Go to hell ." I said and he laughed.
"Yeah by the way since it's our off today I want to take you somewhere ." He said as i kept vihaan down as he was asleep.
"Where ?" I asked him while he was also trying to put Viddhi down but she squirmed and got up.
"What happened princess ?" He aksed as viddhi rubbed her eyes looking at him.
"I want to stay in your arms !" She said like the little boss she is.
"And there goes all of my attention ." I said dramatically sitting on the couch.
"But princess you need to sleep otherwise papa won't be able to take you to have ice cream later !" As soon as aditya said that she nodded and he put her down and she slept in a jif.
"Why do i feel like you don't even love me anymore." I said dramatically but I guess it didn't sound so pleasant to him after all.
"There is not a single thing in this world that can stop me from loving you sweetheart ." He said but I was still being dramatic which I am.
"But still you don't love me anymore!" I said only to find him come closer to me and sitting down on his knees in front of me holding my hands.
"I deeply apologize , if something made you feel that way because that's the only thing that can hurt me . You my love are that shine in my life that can fade away , you are the light to my dark nights and you are the sole reason of my existence. Those kids are my priority because those screams when you were delivering them hurt me so bad that I was in a scolding myself . There is absolutely no one in this entire world who can take away the place that you hold in my heart and in my life . So don't ever say that again sweetheart. It hurts me more because it hurts you ." He said and i chuckled before also bending down to his level taking his hand in mine.
"You always find a way to somehow win my heart . You give me a reason to fall for you again and again every single day and i was only joking because my love for you is eternal and honey it's the same here ." I said and he smiled and we were just about to kiss when my phone rang again.
"If sakshi wouldn't have made me her brother by tying me rakhi then i would have bribed the doctors to get her baby out as soon as possible." He said and i chuckled before getting up to pick up the call and he was aslo called by maa so he went downstairs.
Next day - In the morning ~
"You are still lazy as hell gauri !" He said pulling the cover off of me.
"And you are still annoying aditya !" I said pulling the cover on me.
"Get up na ! We got one day without those mutts because maa took them with her and you want to waste that time by sleeping . Are you serious gauri ?" He asked again pulling the covers and i sat up still sleepy.
"And that's exactly my point ! We got one day without them so why not use it to sleep because since they have entered our life the most time I have slept is seven hours . Can you belive it ?" I said before again throwing myself on the bed.
"I refuse to believe that this is same gauri that used to sleep two hours and called that enough and now seven hours seems less to her ." He said and i looked at him before again pulling the covers on me.
"And i refuse to believe that this is the same man who schooled me for sleeping so less is now schooling me because I sleep alot !" I said and he shook his head.
"You are not gonna listen . Are you ?" He said and i shook my head as a no when I got pulled up and i squirmed in his arms.
"Where do you have to take me that you are so dedicated ?" I asked.
"Somewhere really special sweetheart . Go get ready !" He said and i got up even though I didn't want to but before going to get a bath and get changed i showed him my tongue.
"You know that you look really cute when you do this ." He shouted smiling.
"Go to hell ." I shouted back at him.
"If you are tagging along then only i will go because I am not going to go alone without you ." He said and i opened the door and gave him a death glare and he zipped up his mouth.
Skip an hour later ~
"Now will you tell me where we are going ?" I asked him again while he was driving.
"You will know in a bit love ." He said and i looked at him when he stopped the car.
"What ?" I asked still not looking away from him.
"If you would take a minute and take your eyes off me then you would find out that we have already reached ." He said and i looked ahead and a wide smile made its way to my lips.
"Malabar cafe ?" I asked chuckling so much.
"Yes ! The place where the most beautiful story of my life started ." He said smiling not taking his eyes off of me for even a second.
We both got down and went inside and sat on the seat where we did exactly where we did on our first offical meet.
"After you !" He said giving me space and I sat down and he sat across me.
"So Mr Aditya Saini don't you think it's not very correct to flirt with a woman you barely know !" I said trying to sound like the old gauri i was when i meet him the first time.
"Yes I think i am very wrong in that but i am not flirting with any such woman I am flirting with my wife ." He said making me chuckle when the waitress came and asked us what we would like.
"He will have a black coffee but with honey ." I told her looking at him and he arched his eyebrows.
"And she will have a black coffe with no sugar ." He said and i smiled and the waitress went.
"So you remember ?" He said looking at me and i came closer to him.
"I remember every single detail about you Mi rey ." I said and he laughed.
( Mi rey translates to my king )
"So you figured out what this necklace means ." He said pointing towards it.
"Yeah ! I knew the second you gave it to me but I played dumb ." I said making him laugh.
"So this is where it all started and now we are here after five years ." I said and he smiled nodding his head.
"Yeah but to be honest these five years felt really less because every minute feels like seconds with you and very year feels like minutes ." He said making me chuckle.
"So Mr Aditya Saini or Mr doctor i shall say . Are you happy with your wife ?" I asked like i was a reporter.
"Happier than i ever could have been ." He said and i looked at him like i could look at him for an entire eternity and wouldn't even blink for a second.
"So Mrs Gauri Bansal or Ms Ceo i shall say . Are you happy with your husband ?" He asked.
"He saved me when i wanted to die and give me every single reason to live so I guess I am not only happy but he if i am alive and i exist then it's completely because of him ." I said and he smiled at my words.
"As legends said happy wife equals to happy life !" He said and i laughed.
Half an hour later ~
"You have to be serious aditya ." I said walking beside him.
"I am !" He exclaimed.
"So the first time you saw me you then only decided that you wanted to cure me ?" I asked halting on my steps and looking at him.
"Yes my love i did !" He said .
"What did you think about me ?" He asked.
"Well i - ! I would like to pass on that ." I said and he this time stopped and looked at me in disbelief.
"Tell me gauri have I ever gotten angry at you ever before ?" He asked to which i nodded because he had never gotten angry with me before.
"I thought you were a sugarcoat ." I said and he looked at me.
"You are so gonna regret this my love ." He said smirking and i smirked in response before turning back .
"Well for that you will have to catch me first love !"i said before running and he ran behind me too ..
And as aditya said that life isn't a fairytale they obviously had some ups and downs but getting through them together tightened their bond because that's what love is ...
It strengthens you rather than making you weak ..
