"Awww, you were adorable." I said.

"Were?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah. Now you're all kinds of ugly." I said laughing.

"How rude," she shook her head and laughed, knowing I was just joking.

Jasmine had invited me to her pack to train. One wall of the gym was covered in pictures of the pack mates and we had found one of her from when she was younger.

"No más te digo tus verdades." I replied with a grin.

"Whatever. Let's get started," she said as she walked to the mat.

For the next couple of hours, we ran through multiple defense movements. Some of the female warriors came to spar with us.

While we took a break, Samantha walked in. "Are you guys done?"

"We we're just..." I didn't get to finish my sentence before she cut me off.

"You're done. Great! We're going to eat, so get ready." she pointed at me. "You. Our guest bedroom is upstairs first door on the right. Shower and there are clothes there." She clapped her hands and left the gym.

I turned towards Jasmine. "Is she always this bossy?"

She shrugged. "Alpha's daughter."

I followed their instructions and was waiting for them in the living room. Jasmine was ready before Samantha, but once both were ready, we left in Jasmine's car.

"You've probably gone to the dinner too many times, so we're going to this seafood place. Is that okay?" Samantha questioned.

"Yeah. I love seafood," I replied as they turned into the parking lot of a restaurant. The inside was nicely decorated with a mixture of tables and booths. We all headed to a booth on the edge.

"You and Elijah, huh?" Jasmine asked, wiggling her eyebrows.

I laughed at her antics. "We've got a date this weekend planned." They both awwed before switching topics.

"So, how's being Alpha going?" Samantha questioned.

"I really like it. Well, I like everything but the paperwork." They laughed.

"You know there's rumors about you," Samantha said, a smirk on her face.

"What are the rumors?"

"With the way your pack has been rising in rank, everyone believes you were the king's warrior and that you're really strict."

I burst out laughing.

"Well, if she hadn't been alpha, she could have definitely been a warrior for the king," Jasmine pointed out.

"The thought did cross my mind, actually," I said as both girls stared at me slightly surprised. "I would have graduated in May and entries would begin early June."

"You'd certainly would be good for the position," Samantha mentioned.

"But being Alpha suits you better," Jasmine stated.

Samantha leaned into the table, placing her hands on the table. She looked around the restaurant before speaking in a whisper. "I still can't believe your a full-blooded alpha."

"I didn't even think it was possible," Jasmine pitches in.

"I know it's not common, but why?" I frowned in complete confusion.

"Since neither of your parents are regular wolves, the alpha bloodline was never diluted. It was actually strengthened by both alpha blood lines."

"That means?" I questioned, waving my hands.

Jasmine spoke this time. "It means you're stronger and faster than other Alphas. By how much, I'm not sure since this has never really happened."

I thought about it and the more I thought about it, the more my heart began to race.

Would this make me a target for packs and rouges?

I voiced my concern to my cousins.

"Don't worry. Harming or killing an Alpha without just reason is a death sentence. Not to mention that your pack is quickly strengthening. No one would dare."

Before I could reply, I received a mind link from Malcolm.

Alpha, we have a situation. There's a medium size group of people at the borders claiming to be from your previous pack.

My eyes widened and I shot up from my seat.

I'll be there shortly.

"Sorry guys, something came up at home." I told them with a apologetic smile.

"It's fine. Go," Jasmine said, waving her hands in the direction of the door.

I got in my car and sped through the woods. Upon arriving at my borders, I saw that a third of my pack was indeed here. I stepped out of my car and faced the group of about fifty people. There was movement in the crowd and my mom stepped forward.

I opened my arms, waiting for her hug. She stepped into my arms and hugged me tightly. "What's going on, Ma?"

She pulled away from me and glanced back at the pack.

"We left the pack."
