“Huh? Why did she try to commit suicide?”

The girl sniggered. “Because she took it too hard when Young Master Zhao rejected her confession.”

The girls were discussing in a loud manner. Not only did they shoot Chen Hao a glare, they even mocked him as well.

Chen Hao harrumphed coldly and did not bother about them.

“Hey, Chen Hao!”

At this moment, Su Tongxin came over and held Chen Hao’s hands immediately, as if they were in a relationship.

The story of how their relationship began was a bit strange.

After the misunderstanding last time, Su Tongxin knew that Chen Hao had feelings for her and vice versa.

That night, Chen Hao asked her, “Do you want to be my girlfriend?”

In regards to Su Tongxin's shy admission that she had always been his girlfriend, Chen Hao couldn't care less whether she meant being his fake girlfriend or his real girlfriend. He was content to leave things just the way they were.

“Let’s go and have our dinner. What should we eat tonight?” asked Su Tongxin.

“I want to eat some braised pork!”

The two of them laughed and chatted along the way to the cafeteria. Many guys felt envious when they saw this.

How could a pretty girl like her be in a relationship with a guy like him?

This was absurd!

The braised pork and a few plates of vegetables were served.

Chen Hao sat opposite Su Tongxin and ate their dinner together.

There were many people sitting beside them.

Their topic of conversations revolved around the life of Young Master Zhao and those who had failed in their pursuit of him and much more.

Chen Hao nearly fainted from the overload of information.

“Young Master Zhao really keeps a high-profile huh? Did he really come here for his studies?” asked Chen Hao with a bitter smile.

“Haha, did you think that everybody was raised in poverty for so many years like you? He was pampered and spoiled in luxury the moment he was born. By the way, Chen Hao, how rich and powerful is your family? You never told me about it!” asked Su Tongxin softly.

She wasn’t a materialistic girl, but she was very curious about the extent of his family’s power. After all, what kind of power did they wield to be able to mobilize a helicopter and even let Chen Hao spend his money endlessly.

“I don’t know much about my family’s background. I only know that we are so wealthy that no matter how much we spent, we wouldn’t be able to finish the family’s fortune at all,” replied Chen Hao honestly.

“Pfft! I don’t believe that you have that kind of endless wealth!” Su Tongxin felt that Chen Hao was exaggerating.

However, he was speaking the truth.

It was a lively atmosphere as they continued their bickering.

At this moment, a number of screams suddenly erupted in the canteen. It was almost as if a bomb had been set off and that made Chen Hao jump in fright.

The moment he lifted his head to take a look, he saw a group of people making their way towards the cafeteria.

The entire atmosphere was akin to the appearance of a megastar in the public square.

“She is not his girlfriend. Didn’t you hear what he said just now? She is only his friend! His friend! This means that we still have a chance.”

“Yifan, Jiao, come take a seat. To be honest, if it weren’t for the fact that both of you love the food in this cafeteria, I would never have come here. This is the first time I lay my eyes on a college cafeteria since I was born. So this is how it looks! Hahaha!” said Zhao Shan while laughing.

They were seated in the most central table of the canteen.

Meanwhile, Zhao Yifan only straightened her hair casually and gave him a smile before sitting down.

Obviously, she did not want to say anything anymore.

In reality, Zhao Yifan was deeply hurt by Zhuang Qiang and Chen Hao.
