Chapter 141: Chapter 141 Helping a Friend Out

At 11 in the morning, three young ladies stood outside the entrance of Jin Ling College. They were looking around anxiously from time to time.

“Qin Fei, what’s going on? I thought that Li Rui promised to meet us at the entrance of Jin Ling College, so why isn’t he here yet?”

“Fei, I initially thought that Li Rui would pick us up in his cars, but we ended up waiting for him for such a long time,” said the two young ladies impatiently to the young lady in the middle, who was named Qin Fei.

All three of them were stunning young ladies, especially Qin Fei, for she had an air of quiet, refined elegance.

“Calm down, Lin Yue, Li Rui is running his own business now so he might be busy as he has to handle so many shops at once. I have already given him a call just now, and he told me that he is dealing with the matters at hand now. Once he is done, he will spend the entire day with us,” said Qin Fei with a smile.

Their college was situated in Hong Kong. They had heard of the prosperity of Jin Ling long before this and wanted to witness it for themselves.

Lin Yue was Qin Fei’s roommate.

When both of them heard that Qin Fei’s boyfriend, Li Rui, was a powerful person in Jin Ling, they had to tag along as well, since Qin Fei wanted to visit Li Rui.

On one hand, they came to bask in her glory, while on the other hand, they were envious and wanted to see for themselves whether her boyfriend, Li Rui, was tooting his own horn/

It was enough to make anybody jealous if Li Rui treated her well and was really that powerful.

“Hey, beautiful ladies, are you all waiting for someone?”

At this moment, a black Passat suddenly stopped in front of them.

The windows were wound down and two ruffians poked their heads out.

Qin Fei and her friends lowered their heads and did not speak. They had been hit on too many times by these types of guys.

When the two ruffians saw that all the three young ladies were quite gorgeous, they decided to stay.

“It seems that you are not students of Jin Ling College. Did you all come here to find someone? You can tell me and I might be able to offer you some assistance.”

The two guys got down from the car.

“It’s alright, Li Rui is coming to get us soon,” said Lin Yue immediately.

“Li Rui? I’ll be damned. Why haven’t I heard of him before?”

The two guys gave each other a glance and thought, I bet he must be somebody insignificant in this college.

If Li Rui was somebody famous in this college, then both of them would leave immediately. After all, it would be better if they had one less enemy. However, since he was a nobody, then they weren’t afraid anymore.

They wanted both Qin Fei’s and Lin Yue’s WeChat ID as they were both very pretty.

“Hmm, I don’t think we know Li Rui. However, the weather is so hot and if you all were to wait for him here, your beautiful skin might get tan. Since there is a cafe just around the corner, why don’t I give you all a lift there so you all can wait for him at the cafe? Come on, hop in!”

To be honest, Lin Yue was tempted to get into the car.

You could tell that these guys were rich with a single glance, however Li Rui might be richer. Moreover, she came here with Qin Fei, so when she saw Qin Fei shaking her head, she shook her head as well.

“No need to be embarrassed. Come, hop in the car quickly, let us all be friends!” said one of the guys while he boldly tried to hold Qin Fei’s hands.

“What do you think you are doing? Are you crazy?!”

Qin Fei flung his hands aside viciously and even scolded him.

It was an embarrassing situation for both of them. Out of the girls that they had hit on before, none of them had rejected them flat out in public before this.

At that moment, both of them glanced at each other and smiled coldly. “Young lady, are you trying to humiliate us? Haven’t you heard the expression, ‘You do not hit a smiling person’?”

With that, they moved to grope her.

“F*ck you!”

However, before they managed to touch her, they heard a loud slam, and the guy who initiated the action was kicked several feet away. He flew away like a kite without a string.

It was Li Rui, Yang Hui and Chen Hao who came to their rescue.

They already saw the two guys getting rough with the girls when they walked out the campus gates.

Hence, they immediately rushed over in a fit of anger.

“F*ck you! How dare you touch Li Rui’s woman?! Do you have a death wish?!”

Yang Hui cursed and started to beat up the other guy with Chen Hao’s help.

“F*ck! Do you the three have a death wish? How dare you hit me?!”

The leader of the gang cursed while holding his waist in pain. It was so painful that his forehead was beaded with cold sweat.

“Why not? How dare you harass my girlfriend?! I will beat you to death!”

Li Rui was seeing red at the moment.

It was obvious that he really cared about Qin Fei.

At that moment, he immediately launched himself at the guy again and started to beat him up.

Chen Hao and Yang Hui also joined in the fight unwillingly.

Both the guys were beaten up quite badly.

“You better remember this next time, kid. The next time you see Young Master Li’s woman, you better keep your eyes open and stay far away from her. Do you understand?!” roared Chen Hao coldly.

“Young Master Li? Ok, I heard you, and I will remember it!”

Since they were unable to fight back, they could only surrender and slip away quietly.

In the first place, they have never heard of Li Rui’s name before. However, he definitely wasn’t an ordinary person since he had two loyal underlings.

The least they could do was inquire more about his background first before planning how to deal with them later.

On the other hand, Chen Hao and Yang Hui had a discussion with Li Rui earlier, and they all agreed to Chen Hao’s plan to save Li Rui’s dignity by pretending to be his underlings.

By right, Chen Hao and Yang Hui shouldn’t help him out since Li Rui relied on bragging to hit on girls.

However, they were moved by his feelings for Qin Fei.

Moreover, they were best friends for approximately three or four years already, so they couldn’t just stand by and watch as Li Rui sank further into depression. Because of this, they decided to help him out.

They would help him get through this crisis first before deciding on the next step.

Unexpectedly, Li Rui’s girlfriend was bullied. So, how could they just sit back and do nothing?!

“I’ll be damned! Fei, your boyfriend is just too cool!”

At this moment, Lin Yue was looking at Li Rui excitedly.

He just needed to give the orders to beat them up. How simple and brutal it was! The guys were beaten up so badly that they didn’t know how to fight back.

He was so heroic and cool!

“Li Rui, you could have just scared him away! Why did you beat him up? What if you need to compensate him for his injuries?” Qin Fei rebuked Li Rui for his rashness.

“It’s just a simple matter, so don’t you worry about it.”

Li Rui patted his chest and said, “By the way, Chen, how’s the arrangement for our lunch?”

Chen Hao immediately gave him a smile like he was his underling and said, “Don’t worry, Young Master Li, everything has been arranged. Our location is the Homecook Kitchen Restaurant. Are we going there now?”

This was intentionally arranged by Chen Hao.

They had to choose a restaurant in Jin Ling Commercial Street since they wanted to preserve Li Rui’s dignity. The Hot Spring Villa’s standard was way too high for them. They did not want to exaggerate it.

Homecook Kitchen Restaurant was the perfect choice, for it was neither too big nor too small.

Li Rui scratched his head in surprise and gave him a questioning look that meant, ‘The Homecook Kitchen Restaurant is just too expensive, how can we afford it?’

However, Chen Hao only gave him a reassuring look.

Only then did they hail some cabs and made their way to the Homecook Kitchen Restaurant.

“Wow! So, this is the Jin Ling Commercial Street! I heard from my friends in Jin Ling that the standard of the Homecook Kitchen Restaurant is very high,” said Lin Yue excitedly as she took in the view along the way.

She even took out her mobile phone from time to time to take pictures of it.

“Young Master Li, later when you buy a car after your graduation, Fei and I won’t need to grab a cab the next time we come here for some sightseeing anymore, right?" asked Lin Yue a little regretfully.

“Of course!” said Li Rui as he wiped away the sweat on his forehead.

On the other hand, Qin Fei felt pleased while holding Li Rui’s hand.

She wasn’t a materialistic girl, however her boyfriend was a successful man. Anybody would feel proud if they were in her position.

“We have arrived, so let’s get down here then!”

Chen Hao and Yang Hui were sitting in the front cab. At this moment, Chen Hao came over eagerly to open the door for Li Rui.

“Let’s go in together for a meal,” said Li Rui with a smile.

Everyone arrived at the lobby and prepared to enter the private room that was pre-arranged by Chen Hao before this.

“I’ll be damned. Li Rui, Yang Hui and Chen? Why are you guys here?”

Right at this moment, in the lobby, a group of guys and girls were preparing to enter their private room.

However, the moment they turned around, one of the girls who was dressed stunningly exclaimed with a look of surprise. She was obviously flabbergasted.

“Lin Jiao?”

Chen Hao was shocked as he did not expect to meet this crazy woman here…
