When Chen Hao reached the 26th floor, he saw that there were quite a number of interviewees today.

The crowd was made up of handsome gentlemen and beautiful ladies. There were at least thirty to forty people.

On his way to the hall where the interview was held, he passed by an office area.

Most of the staff there were ladies.

Whenever a handsome guy stepped out of the elevator, the ladies would exclaim as though they had never seen men.

However, when Chen Hao walked out of the elevator, the commotion from the ladies died down a few notches.

He wondered whether it was because he was not charismatic enough.

Chen Hao cursed silently.

“He is the thirty-eighth interviewee. There are only two vacancies, so why are there so many people?”

Some of the girls were counting their competitors.

At the moment, they were grumbling among themselves.

“Hey, look at him. He came here all alone. Does he really think he can pass the interview?”

“Although his looks are above average, his facial features are not outstanding. He is nothing compared to that handsome guy who walked in just now.”

Most of them came as a group and all of them were fighting for the same job. Therefore, some of them started to utter sarcastic words at Chen Hao.

Chen Hao took a deep breath while listening to their mockeries.

He kept his composure.

Thankfully, the door of the elevator opened once again at the moment. A lanky girl, whose height was at least 1.78m, walked out of the elevator.

Her long, claret-red hair fell down her shoulders.

Her body was curvy and attractive. Her facial features were striking and her skin was fair and shiny.

All in all, she had a really good image and temperament.

She looked like the dream girl of every man!

With some files in her arms, she ambled in the direction of the interview hall. Obviously, she was here to attend the interview too.

Meanwhile, many of the guys were staring at her with fiery eyes.

Chen Hao was no exception. He followed their gazes and stared at the girl from head to toe.

The most handsome guy in the room approached the pretty girl with a smile.

Smoothing down some wild strands of her hair, the pretty girl shook her head embarrassingly.

She turned him down tactfully.

“You don’t need to worry about anything. Just look at your beautiful face! You are the most eligible candidate here. They are going to hire just one male and one female this time around. I am sure we are the ones who will be chosen. We should get to know each other better through WeChat!” The guy was relentless.

Chen Hao looked at the handsome guy, who was so confident that he would land the job.

He started to doubt whether his referral letters would work.

Apparently, the pretty girl was not the flirty type. However, she felt bad to reject the guy before the crowd. In the end, she still gave him her WeChat number.

The rest of the guys were envious of him.

“Everyone, please be quiet. Please acknowledge your presence when your name is mentioned. Then, please follow me into the room. The first one is Chen Shao!”

As Chen Hao was busy staring at the pretty girl, he reacted subconsciously when he heard Chen Shao’s name.

The rest of them broke into laughter.

Even the pretty girl’s face revealed a slight grin.

Chen Hao did not say anything to rebut. After all, he was the one who made a mistake.

Thereafter, Chen Shao went into the room to interview.

After a short while, he walked out of the room looking proud.

“Chen Shao, what did they ask during the interview? Can you give us some clues?”

The rest of the interviewees surrounded him and asked.

“Nothing much. Basically, we just had a casual chat. All three of the hiring managers laughed so hard because of my jokes. Then, they asked me when I was available to start. That’s all,” Chen Shao stated, his hands tucked into his pockets.

The rest of the guys were green with envy. It seemed like he was the one who would fill the male quota.

Later, the rest of them entered the room one after another.

Chen Hao submitted his profile and the referral letters to the hiring managers.

After answering some questions by the hiring managers, Chen Hao walked out of the room.

The next thing was to wait for the final outcome.

Some of the interviewees had left without waiting for it.

As for Chen Shao, he was still pestering the pretty girl.

“The result is out!”

Soon, the female staff member walked out of the room with two registration forms in her hands.

“I wonder who was selected?”

All of them were busy making guesses.

“The successful candidate for the vacancy in the Investment Management Department is Miss Yang Minxue!”

Yang Minxue was that pretty girl.

“The other successful candidate is Mr. Chen Hao!”

The female staff spoke again.

“Minxue, let’s go!” Chen Shao smiled subconsciously.

Yang Minxue started to chat with Chen Hao.

“I am staying in Xiao Gu City of Ping An County,” said Chen Hao.

“Ah? What a coincidence. We are staying really close to each other. I am living in Xiao Quan City of Ping An County,” Yang Minxue said with a smile.

Obviously, she was quite friendly and chatty despite her pretty look.

The way she talked was very natural and poised.

“I heard there is a very famous hot spring mountain in the area you stay. I would like to try it out one day in the future!” Chen Hao said with a smile.

“Great! I will bring you around.”

Newcomers in a workplace bonded the best.

“Are the newcomers inside?” At the moment, a crisp voice of a lady was heard from outside.

She was asking the hiring staff.

“Yes, Supervisor Liu, they are inside.”

Chen Hao heard their conversation clearly.

Supervisor Liu was new to the company. Her voice sounded very young and familiar to Chen Hao. After listening to her voice, a dizzying ring started in Chen Hao’s head.

Why did that voice sound so familiar to him?
