The next day, because of the blind date arranged by Mr. Wu, Chen Hao got himself prepared and arrived at Dicos earlier. Although Chen Hao had no idea how it would turn out, he still went along since he had made a promise with Mr. Wu.

However, when he arrived, he saw a girl drinking cola on a seat, and there were chicken wings and fries on the table. She was rocking her fair legs, and she seemed to be waiting for someone.

Surely that’s not her? Chen Hao mumbled in his heart.

Thereafter, he watched as the girl put down the fries and uttered ‘tsk’ in disapproval while she started texting on her phone.

Not long after, Chen Hao received a text message from Wang Min that said, ‘Are you here yet?’

Chen Hao confirmed that she was the one. She seemed pretty at first glance, so Chen Hao walked toward her and took a seat.

“W-What are you doing?” The girl was obviously shocked as she looked at Chen Hao dumbfoundedly.

“Are you here for the blind date?” Chen Hao asked.

“What? Blind date? Are you a psycho?” The girl stared at Chen Hao fearfully.

“Ah? So you’re not Wang Min? Weren’t you the one who sent me the text message just now?” Chen Hao was embarrassed.

“I don’t know who’s Wang Min. I was texting my boyfriend just now, okay?” The girl replied.

“I’m sorry, I made a mistake!” Chen Hao stood up embarrassedly.

Oh gosh, he should have called her before that! As he was about to dial her number, his shoulder was patted by someone.

When he turned around, he saw a girl with a similar exquisite appearance. She was blinking her large eyes and looking at Chen Hao. “Are you Chen Hao? You’re here for the date, is that right?” There was a tone of disdain as the girl asked.

“Yes, that’s right. And you’re?”

“Wang Xiao!”

“Huh?”

“Wang Xiao’s sister, which is me, Wang Min!” Wang Xiao quickly explained in an attempt to cover her mistake. “Hmph, did you bump into the wrong person just now?” Wang Xiao asked sarcastically.

She bumped into the scene while she was walking in just now; that was awkward. Wang Xiao watched the scene from a corner without walking forward to greet him as she felt embarrassed. What a man, she thought. However, she thought that she would be able to turn him down in less than five minutes.

Hence, Wang Xiao wanted to hurry up and get this over with as soon as possible.

Chen Hao sat opposite Wang Xiao. He casted a few glances at Wang Xiao and thought that the girl had no other strengths besides the fact that she was pretty.

Wang Xiao was staring at Chen Hao and judging him with her eyes. She thought that Chen Hao was good-looking and a little handsome. If only he had a wealthier family, he would qualify as her brother-in-

law.

Unfortunately, he was poor, and her sister would never like him. As a matter of fact, if it wasn’t because of her grandfather urging her sister to get married, she wouldn’t even care to find a match! Wang Min had many pursuers, but she didn’t like any of them.

“I’ve heard about your situation. You haven’t got a job yet, have you? Which means you don’t have any income! Besides, I heard that you have purchased a house in Ping An County. However, I’ve been transferred to Jin Ling City for work, which means that I’ll need to move to Jin Ling City. What are your plans on the accommodation?” Wang Xiao asked, thinking that it would be better to go straight to the point.

“Oh, I have a house in Jin Ling City!”

“What? You have a house in Jin Ling City? How big is it?” Wang Xiao asked curiously.

“I don’t know how big it is since I’ve only stayed there a few times, haha!” Chen Hao said with a smile.

Chen Hao sensed that this girl wasn’t here for the blind date. In addition, he didn’t want a blind date either. Therefore, he developed an intention to fool her as a way to end this quickly.

“Bah! Stop pretending! If you truly had a house there, why don’t you move in?” Wang Xiao sneered coldly.

“It’s true, I just don’t have the time to move in. Besides, I’m not used to living on top of the hill alone.

The house is for me and my future wife!” Chen Hao said with a smile.

“What the hell, it’s on top of the hills? Are you a forester? Did they provide you with a tiny house there to watch over the forests?” Wang Xiao sounded more scornful as she spoke, “Do you have a car? Let me warn you, I don’t want a car less than three hundred thousand once I start my job in Jin Ling City!”

“I do have a car, but it’s parked at the bottom of the hill!”

“Bottom of the hill? What car is that?”

“A Lamborghini!” Chen Hao replied.

“Bah! What the hell, are you a psycho, Chen Hao?” Wang Xiao couldn’t stand it anymore. Originally, Wang Xiao thought that Chen Hao might really have a car and a house in Jin Ling City. It turned out that this guy was talking big; he wouldn’t know that her sister knew everything about him, would he?

“What I said is true, I didn’t lie to you at all. I can’t do anything if you don’t believe it!” Chen Hao shrugged helplessly. This wasn’t counted as a serious blind date after all. If Mr. Wu asked about this in the future, at least he would have some explanations.

“Let me be straightforward with you. Our family would never accept a person like you. Originally, we thought that you’re honest even if you’re poor, and we wanted to give you a chance to showcase yourself. However, I think we can forget about it now. You’re trash!” Wang Xiao reprimanded, then stood up immediately to leave.

However, she recalled that she had come all the way here today, and she even had her makeup on.

Yet, before she could even have a sip of drink, she stomped off in anger because of Chen Hao; that wasn’t worth her efforts.

Primarily, she needed to deal with this matter appropriately. If her grandfather knew that she stomped off after a few words with him, he would be furious, not to mention that her grandfather didn’t even know that she was here on behalf of her sister. She was afraid that Chen Hao would spill the beans to Mr. Wu after this. Hence, she planned to act in another way so that Chen Hao would retreat on his own.

“Aren’t you leaving?” Chen Hao asked in surprise when he saw that she took her seat again.

“Who told you that I’m leaving? I haven’t had a meal since this morning, and I’m starving. Besides, today was our first meet, shouldn’t you be treating me?” Wang Xiao retorted as she crossed her arms.

“Oh, no problem!” Chen Hao was wondering why she was so difficult to deal with.

“I want burgers, fries, chicken wings, fried chicken and pizza!” Wang Xiao said.

“Do you usually eat this much?” Chen Hao was shocked.

“Just tell me if you’re treating me!”

“Okay, fine, I’ll treat you!”

He went to order the food and served it to Wang Xiao, then watched as she ate.

Chen Hao was thinking of a plan to make her loathe him so that she would leave on her own; that would be easier for him to explain to Uncle Wu.

It seemed that both of them had their own thoughts.

At this moment, a voice could be heard saying, “Hey, it was you indeed! We thought we saw you from outside just now!” Two boys and two girls came in from outside and patted on Wang Xiao who was enjoying the burgers.

Wang Xiao was in shock.

“W-Why are you guys here?” Wang Xiao stammered and her face blushed.
