“Did you hear everything?”

Grandfather Fang asked when they entered the study room.

Fang Jiannan nodded solemnly.

Grandfather Fang took a deep breath and looked toward a corner before nodding.

After a pause, Grandfather Fang continued, “Yes, all this while, the Fang family has had a major rival, and that rival is the Chen family.”

“The Chen family? Why have I not heard of this family before?” Fang Jiannan said, stunned.

The old man’s voice sounded more like an old goose squawking than a human’s voice.

Situ Yang nodded. “Understood!”

The corners of his mouth lifted into a devious smirk.

The next day, Chen Hao had come to class early.

That was because today’s first two classes were joint lessons.
