William ignored them and let Rayna continue to choose the fossilized herbs. Even until they moved all their purchased goods to the car, the middleâaged man was still trembling on the ground with a pale complexion.
Before leaving, William approached the man and kicked him. It was then that the man stopped shaking and began heaving. âNyadinaâs Iron Palm Sect? Is your head a Master or Grandmaster?â he asked.
Now that the middleâaged man knew how strong William was, he dared not look him in the eye when he spoke, âMy master is a Qi State master.â
William sneered. âFrom how arrogant you acted just now, I thought your master mightâve been a Grandmaster!â
âI was wrong!â The middleâaged man shivered and apologized. âI was blinded by my arrogance. Please forgive me.â
William asked, âWhy are you buying these fossilized herbs?â
Not daring to hide the truth, the middleâaged man answered, âMy master likes to collect these things, so I was thinking of buying some for him.â
âYou tried to buy away the fossilized herb I had. Do you recognize what was inside it?â questioned William.
While shaking his head, the middleâaged man replied, âI donât recognize it, but my master likes collecting fruitâtype fossilized herbs, so I was immediately attracted to yours.â
Williamâs heart skipped a beat, and he said, âGive me your phone number. Iâll pay your master a visit in a few days.â
Shocked, the middleâaged man immediately kneeled and begged, âIâll take responsibility for all my actions and wonât even frown if you want to kill me, but my master has nothing to do with this.â
William assured the man. âDonât worry. Iâm not looking for trouble. I just want to make a new friend.â
That answer made the middleâaged man heave a breath of relief. âMy name is Jett Marshall, and my master is Nyadinaâs Iron Palm Rowan, Rowan McCourt. After that, he proffered William his name card with both hands.
William noticed seven to eight titles written on Jettâs name card, including philanthropist, chairman, president of an association, and many others. It was a mess. However, it also showed that he was a successful man. Otherwise, he would not have come here to buy fossilized herbs that cost over several
million.
Thus, William said, âAlright, Iâll remember that. Iâll contact you when I can.â
Afterward, Jett sent William to the hotelâs entrance and watched William and Rayna get into their car and leave. A teenager behind Jett asked, âJett, are you afraid of him?â
He sighed. âWhat do you know? Thatâs a Divine Realm Master. Even Master isnât his match, so how could I not be afraid of him?â
The two teenagers looked at each other. Divine Realm Master? Why canât we see that?

Jett added, âI hope he doesnât come to find trouble with me in the future.â

Inside Raynaâs car, William was in a good mood as he thought the ruby fruit and nimbus plant inside the fossilized herbs might still have some medicinal properties. However, he could not take them out because he could not refine the pills yet.
When it came to pill refining, he needed to have at least the cultivation of an Innate Realm Master and a pill furnace. Though he had the image of a pill furnace inside his head, creating one was still a tedious
process.
With Raynaâs help, he brought his fossilized herbs to Number 1. Then, she left as she had something to deal with.
Once home, William continued to buy Oceania Mediaâs stocks. Besides the 75 million he saved aside, he was left with 15 million, and up until now, that 15 million had been used to buy stocks, so he was left with several hundred thousand.
After thinking about it, he felt like he had nothing to spend money on, so he gave the 75 million to Jonathan because he needed to build a warehouse and buy medicinal herbs, which required a large sum of
money.
Once he was done with the stocks, William went to treat Sherika and Oakley.
Sherika was recovering well, and after this round of treatment, she regained movement in her lower limbs, which made her life easier. As for Oakley, he could return home after the latest treatment. He thanked William again before going home, while his mother, that mean woman, was now grateful for William. She held his hand and kept calling him âDr. Barrett.â
That afternoon, Oakleyâs family bid William goodbye, and Genevieve sent them to the airport. William had just started conversing with Sherika when Gwendolyn called, saying that Kiran was about to return to Kreim and that she would be coming later. After considering it, William drove over to see Kiran off.
Since Kiranâs injuries had recovered, the remaining step was to take his medication and slowly recuperate his health. Therefore, there was no need for hith to stay in Justford.
When William arrived at the hotel, he saw Gwendolyn waiting at the entrance and came over once she spotted him. âWilliam, letâs go.â
He asked, âHas Uncle Kiran left?â
âYes. He went back, so letâs return to your place,â she suggested.
Boom!
All of a sudden, William felt his car shake before a tall, burly figure appeared outside the passenger side door and banged on the window, yelling, âGwen, come out!â
Gwendolyn seemed disgusted while telling William, âLetâs go. Donât mind him.â
Yet, he switched off the engine and asked, âWho is that?â
After sighing, she explained, Thatâs an ex Uncle Kiran introduced me to. His name is Owen Hawkins. Iâve already broken up with him. Who knew he would appear in Justford?â
William commented, âThings like this should be resolved as soon as possible. Itâs best not to prolong it.â

Then, he alighted from the car and looked at Owen from the other side.

Owen was over six feet tall, had thick limbs, and a slightly pointed head with bushy eyebrows and hair. Also, he exuded an ordinary aura. When he saw William leaving the car, he stared at him and questioned, âWho are you? What is your relationship with Gwen?â
William replied, âMy name is William Barrett, and Iâm Gwenâs boyfriend. Why are you blocking my car? Are you a robber?â
Infuriated, Owen slammed his fist on the carâs roof, denting the BMW M8âs roof so much that even the skylight shattered. Then, he threatened, âI will beat you to death, you rascal!â
âBeat me to death?â William raised his eyebrow. âIt seems like your ability to bluff is greater than your skills.â
Right then, Kiran dashed over. When he saw the scene, he questioned, âOwen, what are you doing?â
âThat doesnât concern you!â Owen glared at Kiran. âThis niece of yours is such a sl L. Doesnât the Zuch Family teach her manners?â
Kiran was furious as he retorted, âThatâs bullsh*t! Gwen has already broken up with you, so youâd better watch what you say!â
Owen sneered. âKiran Zuch, do you think that Iâm a pushover? Tonight, Iâll be waiting for you guys at Red Leaf Temple. All of you better show up!â After that, he was ready to leave.
âWho said you
could go?â William questioned icily.
Sweeping his gaze across him, Owen roared, âYouâre dead, rascal!â Then, he wheeled around the car and tried to grab William.
Boom!
Just as he arrived at the bonnet, a leg moved at lightning speed and appeared before him. Since he did not have time to dodge, he could only use both hands to shield himself.
With a loud boom, he felt like a metal hill hit him, and his body flew over thirty feet away before crashing heavily into a pillar. There was extreme pain in both arms, probably broken, and his nose was also cracked and bleeding. He stared at William with terrified eyes, wondering how someone could be so strong.
William demanded, âYou broke my car. Pay up!â
At that moment, the arrogant Owen dared not say anything harsh. He gritted his teeth and asked, âHow much is it? Iâll pay you back!â
William said, â450 thousand. You wrecked my car so much that I donât want it anymore, so buy me a new
one.â
