April's thoughts were all jumbled up,trying to make sense of it.She clearly must have misheard it right?
She did not just hear those 3 words falling out of her girlfriend's mouth?
She know it's only been two weeks and 4 days since they made it official but why does she feels the same?
About last week,April almost said it and it was a little awkward since they both didn't want to make it feel rushed.
Last week,
"I had fun,babe.I didn't know you could play basketball." Sterling sips on her slurpee while her other arm was hanging over April's.
"I mean skee ball is not the only strong suite I have, my love."
"That's what makes you amazing, babe." Sterling sneaks a kiss on April's cheek and threw her slurpee away.
"Thank you for taking me out, college can be a wretched fellow.However,April Stevens never give up especially if I'm going to get my diploma."
"No worries, babe.I needed it too, did you know that my lecturer talks so fast.I mean I talk a lot too, like sometimes too fast.Too much and I can't help because words just fly out of my..I'm blabbering, aren't I?"
"It's cute actually.Come here." April pulled Sterling close and she smirks.Her lips tasted like everything she ever imagined and it still gets her soft and tingly.
Both of them pulled away and both knew that they had to part our ways since April still had assignments to catch up on.
"I guess that's it then.Bye." Sterling walks off without giving April a hug or whatsoever.April was little bit offended but she chuckled, knowing what Sterling will get the next time they meet.
"You think I was going to leave you just like that?" Sterling called out and April turned, smiling.
April stopped in her tracks where they're finally outside her house and Sterling fidgets with her fingers.
"I guess here is where we really part." Sterling goes in for a hug and caress April's hair, taking in her scent and hoping that April's perfume sticks to hers.Sterling eventually pulled away and April did a side smirk.
"Okay goodnight, babe.I love y-" April stopped herself before she does something stupid.
"What?" Sterling frowns her eyebrows, almost like she was mad at April.
"I mean I love your shoes and I will miss you so so much." April forced a smiled, clearing her throat.
"Okay....will miss you too." Sterling did an awkward peace sign and left.
"Shit!" April cussed and walked back to her house.

April's POV
"Did you just say you love me?"
"Is that ok? I mean I know it's too fast and we've never actually said it before.You don't have to say it back,I don't want to push you or whatsoever."
"I love you,Sterl."
"Really?" She takes a step closer and I nodded. "Yes,of course I do."
Sterling blushed and her smile was wider than I've ever seen before except for that time we went to get her favourite ice-cream.
"You are literally my whole world as much as how corny and cliche it is but you are."
"Aww.." Sterling squeezed my cheeks while making baby voices and I smacked it away.
"I think you just ruined the moment..." I moved away from her and she cried out.
"Cmon,it was cute.Come here my little ravioli." She reaches out for me but I progressively move away.
"No,I think you just did-OMG stay away Sterl." Sterl starts chasing after me as I swim away from her.She eventually catch up and pulls me to her.
We both leaned in and my heart couldn't handle how much we've come so far.
"You're really my favourite person,Sterl." I kissed her,pulling on her hair.
We went back to the resort soon after and rest for night,snuggled in between the sheets with her hands around my waist.Nothing could get better than this.

Sterling's POV
The next day, we simply went for a spa day and played bowling.
After bowling, we went back to our rooms and called in for room service.
"Babe,come join me for a Tiktok." I pulled her towards the camera and she reluctantly agrees.
April wasn't good with the dances but she still did it with me anyways.She's more of POV type of person or OTD.
I posted some of them on my close friend's list and went over to April's side.
April gently guide my head to rest against her shoulder.I smirks and snuggles between her shoulders as we watched the movie.
The moment between us felt settling but somehow I knew that moments like this would be hard to get back at home, since Blair would be breathing down our necks along with my parents.
The movie got boring and I could feel April reaching for her phone.We simply stayed there as I tried to watch the movie.
Like why the hell are you in the snow all alone?
"Let's play a game,babe." April hits my thighs and I readjusted myself to face her.
"Mm..what is it,baby?"Â I looked at her lovingly and she smiled.
"I'll be filming it for a small tiktok." She starts fixing her hair and placing it a nice angle.
"I thought-"
"Shssh...it'll be fun." She placed a finger on my lips and looks at me.
"It's pretty simple.All you have to do is not kiss me.If you do,you lose."
"You know that I can't resist you."
"But you have to..."
Her face is inches from mine, her scent filling my lungs, burning my insides slowly.I swallowed hard.I couldn't and shouldn't be tempted, right?
The rules were pretty darn simple, not to kiss each other.She tilts her head to side, opening her mouth slowly.Her eyes looked up as she licked the sides of my mouth.
"Aww,cmon!" I gasps and pushes April away.
"It was fun..wasn't it?"
"To not kiss you? Oh it was so fun,I didn't feel anything at all.I would prefer not to kiss you anymore in this relationship." I stood up,walking away and April laughs.
"Admit it, you felt something." April pulled the back pocket of my jeans and turns me around to face me.I was a little surprise considering April is small but she could top me at any point of time.
She gently took my hands, bringing it closer to her lips.
"Of course,I do." She kissed my hands,softly and works her way to my neck.
"If you didn't feel anything, then you shouldn't feel this at all." April teased and unbuttons my white loose button up shirt violently.
She licks my collar bone and kissed her way to my chest area.She looks at my bra and she smirked.
"I-you don't..I-maybe we should-I mean if you..." April shuts me up by kissing me roughly.She goes back to my neck and I bit my lips,trying my best not to moan.
"Room service!" Someone knocked on the door and April sighed.
"I guess another time..." April push me to the bed as I fell on it,rendering myself breathless.
I simply cannot put my words into how April has become more dominant over the years.
We ended having dinner and sleeping in each other's arms for the night.
The whole trip was amazing but it had to end.We drove back home and I sent April with a kiss.
"Okay,I'll text you later.Bye." April took off her luggage from the boot and made her way back in.
I guess you could say this was the best trip ever.
