"aye aye sahari get away from that!" i yelled and she looked at me then back at the hot stove.
"you touch that i swear-" i said and she slowly moved away, the kitchen door opened revealing journey.
sahari ran to her and journey picked her up, i shook my head. i'm glad they had a good bond going also with acadia.
"how was work??" i asked and she shrugged.
"it was ight, i get my paycheck tomorrow so." she said sitting sahari on the counter top.
"what's on her mouth?" journey asked.
"chocolate." i said holding up a half eaten chocolate bar.
"and you know she gonna have a sugar rush." journey said as acadia walked in.
"hello mothers and little sister." she said and sahari flipped her off.
"unt unt you should've never taught her that." i said pushing sahari hand down.
"it wasn't my fault necessarily." she said and i shook my head.

"acadia you've heard from malia?" i asked and she nodded her head.
"yeah i did her makeup at school today for her pictures wanna see em." she said and i nodded.
she went on her phone then handed it to me.
"okay okay tell her i said she look good." i said and acadia nodded.
"she gotta game friday, can i go?" she asked me messing with sahari.
"yeah, you gonna need money??"
"no ma'am, i still got birthday money." she said.
one thing about acadia she could save money, she only spent it if it's necessary.

i walked in the bedroom where i heard coco melon playing, sahari was sitting up watching the tv but journey was knocked out.
"sahari." i called her name and she looked at me i made a come here motion.
she mugged me before slowly climbing out of journeys arm then walked over to me,"wanna go to aunt mariah house?" i asked and she shook her head no.
"why not?" i asked and she looked back at journey then at me.
"you wanna stay with your mom huh?" i asked, she looked at me confused then nodded her head.
"mmm mm...if you like her more than me just say dat." i said and she ignored me and climbed back on the bed.
i walked out to acadia room,"acadia.." i said knocking on the door and she opened it.
"it wasn't locked.." she said sitting on her bed.
"i wasn't gonna buss in your room, but i'm finna go to mariahs i should be back by 8." i said and acadia nodded.

"love you more." i said and went to the bathroom.
i freshened up then grabbed my car keys,"mommy!" i turned around and saw sahari.
"yes my love." i said and she held up pepper spray.
"i- thank you baby." i said kissing her forehead then she went back for the stairs.
i walked out and got in my car,"bitchhhh." mariah said when i answered the phone.

soooo india with my mother, iniko out with his grown ass so what y'all tryna do?" mariah asked and i shrugged.
"what yana think?"
"she said maybe get our nails done or something like that....we could go to the movies." she said and i nodded.
"bet, i'm finna be at your house though." i said.

i continue driving until i made it to her house,"open the fuck up-" i said knocking on the door and yana opened the door.
"now girl-" she said as i walked in and i laughed.

"anyways, what we doing??" i asked and yana held up some tickets.
"movies?" she asked and we nodded.
"bet, let's go." mariah said getting up and grabbed her keys.

"hey mommy." acadia face appeared and she was smiling.

"wait mama look at my tattoo and i'll let you go." acadia said turning the camera.

"not really, at first but then it went away." she said and i nodded.
"girl you gonna make me get that tattoo." yana said leaning over my shoulder.
"you should i'll come with you to get it." acadia said and i shook my head.
"bye i'm hanging up." i said.
