"you got one mo time to move." i said to sahari as she kept moving around.
she pointed at the tv and i saw the show paused, i clicked continue watching.
she focused on the tv as i put beads on the end of her braids,"your ready to go home?" i asked her and she nodded while i fixed her edges.
"this gonna have to be good enough..." i mumbled throwing the gel in her bag.
"mama said she on the way." acadia said coming in my room and i nodded.
"ouuu sahari you look pretty." she said to her making sahari push her head out the way to watch tv.
i laughed as i went to the bathroom and washed my hands.
i looked back in the room and saw acadia walk out with sahari behind her.
i grabbed my antidepressants and put two in my mouth before swallowing them.
i looked in the mirror and put my hair up in a ponytail.
i walked back in the room and grabbed my keys.
"i don't wanna go homeeeee." acadia said hanging onto me.
"girl- get the hell off me you'll be okay." i said and she mugged me.
"that was so rude that's why imma come back tonight." she said.
"you won't be able to, y'all been with me for almost a whole week and i know you miss yo mama." i said and she stood there for a second.
"i mean you right- i think y'all should get back together." she said.
"i-" the doorbell ring cutting me off.
i opened the door revealing adaliya who was wearing a sundress and her hair was in a bun.
"hey mommyyyy." acadia said hugging her.
"hey you ready to go?" adaliya asked her and she nodded.
"i gotta get my bag and sahari's i'll be back." she said walking away.
i heard sahari running until she made it to the door,"heyyy baby." acadia said picking her up making her smile.
"mama look." sahari said and pointed to the band-aid on her knee.
"how'd you get that?" adaliya asked and sahari pointed at me.
"i- nigga." i said confused why she pointing at me.
"what you do to my baby."Â adaliya asked and i mugged her.
"tell her to not be jumping off porches then she won't be getting hurt." i said as acadia came back downstairs.
"i got it." adaliya put sahari down and grabbed some of the bags from acadia and they went to her car.
i walked outside and sahari stood in the doorway.
"c'mon lil mama." i said holding my hand out which she took.
i shut my door back and locked it, i grabbed her car seat out my car and put it in adaliya's.
damn i needa buy one of my own for her.
i sat her in it and buckled her up, before kissing her forehead.
"i'll see y'all later." i said shutting her door back.
"bye mom." acadia said opening her door and i leaned down and hugged her.
i took a moment to look over at adaliya making me see the hickey on her neck, i swallowed hard and closed acadia door.
once i stepped back from the car, sahari looked out the window and started crying.
ain't gonna lie, it made my heart ache.
i turned away and it was like her cries got louder, making me turn back around as she tried unbuckling herself.
"mane...open the door real quick." i said to adaliya who unlocked the door.
i opened the door and sahari calmed down as i unbuckled her and picked her up.
she clanged onto me as i held her,"why you screaming princess?" i asked her using my shirt to wipe her face.
she didn't respond but turned her face towards mines, "you gotta go back with mama." i said and her lip poked out.
"she just gonna have to cry this one out..." i mumbled putting her back and she started back crying.
"i'll come and see you tonight i promise." i said but she was too busy screaming to pay attention.
"i'll come by later tonight." i said then got in my car.
they left first then i left.

"hold on, i ain't doing shit." i said looking at amare and iniko.
"come onnnn you was the best at this shit when we were younger." amare said.
"key word younger when i was younger i didn't give a fuck but now i do...y'all can stay doing that but i'm not." i said.
"just one time aunt journey please." iniko said and i mugged him.
"mane fuck y'all i'm doing this shit once i get caught? we all going down and i'm not playing." i said and they nodded.
"fine look we just need this..." they started explaining the plan to me honestly left me speechless.
"see...y'all want my gay ass to go in there and die." i said.
"you won't die...just go in there your name is emma-"
"that white ass name." iniko cut off amare.
"shut the hell up but just go through with the plan we'll be fine."

"still know how to use these?" amare said handing me a pistol.
"yeah, i'm not that dumb."
"i- you know what okay." amare said as iniko handed me a bullet proof vest.
"you act like they ain't gonna notice this on me.."
"okay but it's just in case, we can't have you getting hurt and you know adaliya gonna raise hell." amare said.
i fixed the vest on me and shook the thought of adaliya out my head.
"ight...let's go." amare said.
i followed them out to the car and i got in the backseat,"you left yo phone right?" i nodded my head at whoever asked.
i sat there and thought about this whole plan i mean there is ways for it to go wrong..
"AMARE LOOK-" i blacked out.
