"you okay you've been on edge all morning?" one of my associates, asia asked.
"yes i just ain't talked to malia all morning i'm worried..." i mumbled as we walked down the hallway.
"well it is lunch maybe you'll see her." she said and i looked around noticing people staring at me.
"am i trippin or-"
"it's people staring at you? yeah..." she said as we kept walking until somebody stood in front of me.
"here you go pretty lady." i looked up and saw a dude with a rose.
"uhh...i don't know if i'm suppose-" he cut me off.
"trust me take it." he said and i stood there for a minute before grabbing it.
"thank you..." i said in a questioning tone then kept walking.
"your welcome shawty." somebody said quickly handing me another rose.
"did i miss sumn??" i asked looking at asia who looked away and shrugged.
"asia..." i said squinting my eyes at her.
"don't say my name like that." she said laughing.
by time i got to the cafeteria i had almost a bouquet of flowers in my hands,"this feel weird walking in here with this..." i said sitting the flowers down on the table along with my book bag.
"yeah well...shawty look over there." asia said making me turn around and i saw malia with gift bags.
"hey baby girl." malia said smiling and kissed my cheek.
"hey- where were-" she placed her hand over my mouth then slowly turned my head towards the stage in he cafeteria.
Will you go to prom with me? was spelled in cursive across the poster some of her friends held and i could now see cameras out.
"i outta beat the fuck outta youuu." i mumbled turning towards her and she laughed.
"so you gonna go with me or nah." she said handing me the gift bags.
"now what if i say no?"
"imma beat the fuck out of you-" i cut her off by grabbing her face and kissing her.
"of course i'll go with you." i said and she smiled against my lips.
of course the cafeteria was clapping and cheering came from everyone,"i really thought you forgot..." i mumbled.
"about prom? ain't no way i was just tryna figure out what i wanted to do...this still ain't all of it either make sure you ready tonight by 8." she said and i smiled.
"okay." i said and looked inside the bags before quickly closing them.
"reallyyy- lingerie." i said and she laughed.
"you'll look good in it don't worry." she said kissing my cheek.

"put it in reverse and rideeee ahhh ahh ahh!!" we sung while bucking.
"whew lord hold on i think i done popped a hip." i said holding my waist and nyah started laughing.
"girl i ain't did nun like that since my second year of highschool when i joined the dance team." she said saving the video on her phone.
"sooo y'all down here making videos while i'm watching kova." iniko said.
nyah and i looked at each other before laughing,"correcttttt." we said in unison.
"anyways- i see malia asked you to prom." iniko said making me smile.
"right yall cute, the video went viral real fast." nyah said showing me her phone.
you could see some clips of me grabbing roses from
people all the way to the cafeteria when she asked me.
i was smiling wayyy harder then i thought i was, not to mention my cheeks were slightly red.
"aweeeee not she got yo ass smilingggg simp muthafucka." iniko said hitting my shoulder.
"bitch you hit me hard as fuck." i said holding my shoulder.
"and i know you not talking bitch." i said pointing between him and nyah.
"i mean she ain't lie- you be a whole teddy bear when it come to me." nyah said and iniko smacked his lips.
"you ain't have to expose me like that buddy." iniko said patting nyah head who smacked his hand away.
"fuck up this hair if you want to." she said and iniko smacked his lips.

"da ghetto." i said getting up.
"malia outside, bye besties." i said as i opened the door and closed it behind me.
i got in the car and malia was on the phone,"okay...what that gotta do with me??" she and as she leaned over and kissed my lips.
"ight i gotta go." she said then hung up.
"who was that??" i asked.
"my mother nobody important." she shrugged as she put the car in reverse.
"damn- where we going?"
"thAt i am not telling you, you'll see." she said and i smacked my lips.
"fine." i said leaning back against the seat.

"bruh it's a lil cold whenever we at." i said as malia lead me somewhere.
"yo ass always complaining shut the hell up." she said and i flipped her off.
"bitch ass." i mumbled then tripped over sumn.

"my bad my bad." she said laughing.

"okay take it off." she said and i took off the blindfold.
it was a large blanket on the ground along with some extra blankets.
a basket was half way opened where you could see food inside and some candles not too far away but the right space away from the blanket.
"aweee stink." i said turning towards her and she smiled weakly.
"why you look like that?" i asked.
"i- i didn't know if you'd like it or not." she mumbled and a smile couldn't help but make a way onto my face.
"malia c'mere." i said grabbing her arms then gently grabbed her face with one of my hands.
"i love it okay, this shit beautiful and got a perfect view of everything too." i said and she smiled at me before kissing me and i kissed back.
she wrapped her arms around my waist hugging me tightly and i hugged her back with my arms around her waist.
"malia..."
"hmm..."
"i'm hungry-" she smacked her lips and laugh.
"you make me sick come on." she said and i followed behind her.
