Narrator's pov

"Jesus Christ" Someone muttered as they all stared at the two girls
Kate simply chuckled before intertwining her fingers with her girlfriend and heading further down the red carpet
"Damn" Autumn muttered
"What?" Kate questioned
"I feel like a bottom" Autumn chuckled
"Maybe because you are"
"Excuse me?" Autumn asked as she stopped in the middle of the carpet
"You heard m-" Kate was cut off by Autumn's hand hooked around her waist, tugging the brunette into her chest
Kate let out a sharp squeal when her body was slammed against her girlfriend's. Autumn held both of the girl's wrist with one hand, holding it close to her chest while she used her other hand to hook her fingers under the girl's chin, her thumb pressed flat against Kate's bottom lip as those icy blue eyes chilled brown ones
"Don't call me that again before I treat you exactly how a bottom should be treated" Autumn said in a raspy voice
Her thumb slowly glided down the girl's bottom lip until her held her chin securely, tilting it up to face her
Kate swallowed a lump in her throat as her eyes slowly left Autumn's, glancing over the girl's lips
"Yes" Kate whispered
"Good girl" Autumn mumbled before placing a soft kiss on the girl's lips then releasing her grip, heading away and leaving her girlfriend standing there
"F-fuck" Kate whispered with a shaky breath as she closed her eyes
Her heart throbbed in her chest as she inhaled a cold breath to settle her intense nerves that were starting to build
Autumn chuckled to herself knowing she had left the girl flustered. The raven hair girl placed her hand into her pockets and turned to the side, showing off her sculpted facial side features for the flashing cameras
"Autumn!" a familiar voice yelled from the crowd
"Dad?" Autumn asked
"Hey!" he chuckled as he made his way towards the barricade
"What are you doing in the crowd?" she chuckled
"Well its your big movie premier, I had to come see you" He grinned
"Well you should be over here"
"No no, it's okay. I have no right to be on that red carpet, you girls worked hard and you should be given all of the attention tonight" the man said
Autumn couldn't help but smile. She's seen such changes in the man for the past few days than she's ever seen in a person before. The father she knew a month ago would never be at that premier, he'd probably be someone across the world sitting at a wooden oval deck surrounded by a bunch of strangers smoking a Cuban cigar and waiting for their meeting to end so they'd go back to their office and screw their assistants. He wouldn't have even called to say congratulations or a wish you well. Yet here he was tonight, in the crowd to make sure the spotlight was on who deserved it the most
Autumn couldn't help but realize that everything in her life was changing
And it all started with that short hair brunette who could never keep her mouth shut
She glanced over to her girlfriend that stood there with a smile, white light flashed against her skin as she turned to expose her side features for the cameras
"You know what, a few photos won't hurt" Autumn said as she moved closer towards her father
"Are you sure? Because I really don't mind waiting until it's over-"
"Dad, get over here and take some photos with me" Autumn chuckled
"Yes daddy" Haun chuckled
"Ugh no. Not the man responsible for my daddy issues satisfying them. DON'T DO THAT EVER AGAIN" Autumn chuckled
"Sorry, it's a habit" Haun chuckled before placing a leg over the barricade and slipping onto the red carpet
"You look beautiful by the way" he said
"So I've been told" Autumn chuckled and hooked her arm around the man's waist while he rested his hand on her shoulder and smiled at the camera. She couldn't help but take in the old spice scent of his suit, something she had wished she smelled when she was younger everytime he would come home from work
Kate grinned when she glanced over and saw the father and daughter laughing when they struggled to give good poses. She grinned when she noticed the way Autumn's eyes twinkled everytime the man gave her shoulder a small squeeze. Kate grinned because the love of her life was happy
"Ms Wilson! Can we ask some questions?" someone asked
"Ofcourse"
"How did you land the lead role in a film where there were thousands of audiotapes and still get a call back that night?"
"Well, I guess you could say they saw something in me that they liked"
"What was it like working with Ms Hester?"
"It was... Educational" Kate chuckled
"What do you mean by that?"
"It means as a person who was filming for the first time, I was impressed by Ms Hester. We all know she's picked up her skills along the year with her experiences so working with her was educational. She's thought me alot and helped me improve, there's been times when she's sat down the script with me and we've brushed through it with ease, she gave me tips on how to improve. So yes, it was educational"
"Ms Hills mentioned that there was alot of chemistry, can you go into depth about that?"
"I can't say much about it. No one could explain it actually, there was just a smoothness between us when we started filming. It was as if when those cameras started rolling, we became two different people. Two people knew each other inside and out" Kate smiled
"Did that chemistry also lead to romance?" someone asked, Kate chuckled softly before glancing over to her girlfriend
"Millions of people crave for her touch, people are desperate for her to even glance at them and I could see why. She has a big heart that she doesn't show, she blocks people out because she's afraid of them taking a piece and leaving. It's what everyone did. They left. But all she needed was a little light in the darkness to make her happy. I'm glad I could have done that, I saw a side of her that I fell in love with. God knows I'd never leave and God knows how grateful I am to meet her" Kate grinned
"Awwwwww" the photographers cooed causing Autumn to glance over to them
"Ms Wilson!" a small voice screamed
"Who is that?" Kate asked
"Ms Wilson please!" they yelled again
"Make some room for her" Autumn said as she looked into the crowd
A small girl navigated her way through the swarm of photographers with a cardboard poster in her hand. Kate raised a brow as the smaller girl approached the barricade
"Ms Wilson!" she screamed again
"Yes dear?" Kate asked
"Ca-Can I please get your autograph" The small girl pouted
Kate's heart almost melted inside her body as a wide smile made its way onto her lips. She truly did made it. Her first autograph.
"Of course you can" Kate chuckled as she stepped closer, taking the marker and pen from the girl's hand
Her smile never faded, she held the poster in her hand and finally took a good look at it
The poster matched the background of every other poster around them, even the background and walls leading towards the cinema. A photo of herself and Autumn wrapped around thin white dresses that engulfed each other. Their foreheads pressed against each other while a smile took both of their lips, Autumn's eyes were opened as they examined the girl's face while holding her hands to her mouth, her lips pressing against Kate's knuckles
Kate smiled as she scribbled her name onto the poster, making sure to leave a heart and a date on the end to mark her first autograph she had ever given
"Thank you" The small girl giggled
"No..Thank you" Kate assured as she watched the girl fade away into the crowd
"Well look at you, getting your first autograph" Autumn chuckled
"Let me feel good about this" Kate playfully pouted
"Oh I'm allowing you to sweetheart, go ahead and take it all in" Autumn giggled as she hooked her arms around the girl's waist from behind, pressing a small kiss on her neck
"MS WILSON"
"CAN I GET AN AUTOGRAPH"
"ME TOO"
"MS WILSON OVER HERE"
"PLEASE SIGN MY SHIRT"
"I... I'm overwhelmed" Kate muttered as her eyes widened at the screaming fans pushing their way towards her
"Yeah it do be like that" Autumn chuckled
"Go ahead, your fans are calling for you"
"Oh hush up, you've got people screaming your name right now, you're just ignoring them" Kate chuckled as she took a few posters to sign
"Maybe because the only person I want to hear screaming my name is you" Autumn whispered against the girl's ear before taking a few posters from her fans to also sign
Kate's cheek burned red as she bit down on her bottom lip, glancing over to her girlfriend
"You really like to tease me, don't you?"
"oh I love to watch you squirm" Autumn winked
"Oh my god" Kate tossed her head back laughing
"Ms Hester! What was it like working on set?"
"You mean, before or after she wanted to choke me out?" Kate asked the interviewer
"Well, I still want to choke you. Just in different ways" Autumn winked
"Stop flirting with me and do your interview!"
"What do you mean by that Ms Hester?" the person asked
"Kate and I didn't have a strong friendship at first. We met before we even know we were going to be Co stars. It wasn't a nice greeting at all actually, we bickered alot. We fought alot to the point where meetings were called, we had to chose between getting along or being replaced"
"How did you two get along?"
"Ptff they forced us to live together"
"How did that go?"
"Well, I'm in love with her now.. So you tell me" Autumn chuckled before glancing over at her girlfriend
Kate's smile was something she never imaged would have touched her soul, the girl's giggle was enough to calm her nerves. There was just something special about Kate that Autumn couldn't put her hands on, but she was going to figure it out until her last day with the girl
"Alright, can I steal my girlfriend away for a bit?" Autumn smiled as she placed her palm on the girl's back where her skin was exposed. Her warm fingertips bright goosebumps to the girl's body
"We're gonna be late for our own premier" Autumn chuckled
"Then let's be late" Kate giggled
"Not a chance, come on. Let's go" Autumn smiled as they headed towards the entrance of the building
"What about your dad?"
"I got him a seat, he'll be in there"
Kate's heart was still pounding in her chest, steps were being taken into her future and she couldn't wait
The girls entered into the building, all lights were dimmed to illuminate the blank screen. Rows of chairs were all in a circular angle facing towards the screen. The entire premier was packed with screaming fans inside and out
"Ladies and gentlema-"
"AND NON BINARY PALS" Ethan and Jamie screamed from the audience
"Oh yes right. And non binary pals, let's give some warm welcome to the ladies of the night" a voice echoed through the room
Applauses were given to welcome the two actresses at the top of the room, everyone turned to face them as a spotlight pressed onto their skins, awaiting their arrival to stage
"Are you ready to do this?" Autumn asked
"Ready"
Their fingers intertwined as the girl's made their way down the steps. Screams got louder and Kate knew her heart was ready to explode at any minute
She was giving out autographs, her friends were there to hold her high and celebrate the day with her, her name was written across every wall and billboard everytime she turned. Those childhood dreams were finally coming through
And Kate knew she wouldn't have done it without the girl she fell in love with hooked around her arm
