"Good afternoon Gulf and welcome to MSE" said Pufai. Good afternoon Phi, this is Mild my manager and also my bestfriend. Gulf introduced Mild to Pufai. " Mew would be here in a short time and in the mean time I will brief you about the matter. Before that what will you like to drink?" Pufai enquired. 'Just water phi' replied Gulf. " MSE is planning to enter into Beauty and cosmetic industry and we think you are the best choice to promote BELLEZA. We want you to be the brand ambassador, we are all set to launch and we can start promotions if you are in. Every details regarding BELLEZA that you need to know is in this file. You can go through the file and when Mew comes you can tell your decision."
Mew arrived when Gulf was going through the files and he handed it back to Pufai once he finished.
"I apologize for the delay Gulf, the board meeting took more time than expected" said Mew." It's okay Phi we can understand " replied Gulf smiling. " Isn't this your first time in MSE" asked Mew. " Yes it is our first time inside "Gulf replied stressing "inside" with a smirk looking at his best friend. Seeing Pufai's and Mew's confused face Gulf said " It's nothing Phi, Mild's boyfriend Boat is working here so we have been here outside a number of times." "Oh you mean nong Boat from account section " asked Pufai. Mild nodded his head.
"Have you decided yet Gulf?" asked Mew. " Yes phi just tell me when should we sign the contract, it is a great privilege to work with you." said Gulf. I am honored you think so nong,"Mew replied with a smile. Pufai handed over the contract papers and Gulf signed it after he and Mild went through it. Mew and Gulf shook their hands, I officially welcome you to MSE Gulf Kanawut. Mild is Gulf free tomorrow evening? Mew enquired. " Yes Mr. Mew."
"Then how about we keep a press meet tomorrow, are you ok with it Gulf" asked Mew. Gulf nodded his head. " Then Pufai I hope you can arrange it".Yes Mew, Pufai replied.

Both Mew and Gulf arrived at the press meet, the media were already present. Mew was the first one to speak. Good evening everyone, thanks for being here on our invitation. MSE is going to begin our new venture in the beauty and cosmetics industry with BELLEZA. The gentle man here would be our brand ambassador.

One thing I like how professional he is ,second I realised he has a beautifull heart and I think he is the most suitable one and the last I don't want to face the wrath of my princess and cupcake. Mew and Gulf answered few more questions and then ended the press meet. A very tensed Mild was waiting for Gulf. "You will have to drive alone Gul,f Boat's dad is hospitalized. I have to be there for him."
Mild then you can take the car, I will take a cab back. Are you sure? asked Mild. Of course bro.Then I will call you a cab .It's not needed Mild I can drop Gulf on the way.Tell Boat he can have a three days paid leave.Thank you Mr Mew.
Phi I can take a cab. Gulf get in the car. Gulf did not resist again and he gave Mew his address. Drive was silent both of them didn't talk much but it was not awkward. First Gulf thought Mew might be trying to avoid bringing up yesterday's events, but then he understood that Mew don't have a slightest idea of what had happened. Gulf used this time to closely observe Mew. He has never been this close to the latter except that one time twelve years ago.
He noticed his sharp cut jawline, but not too sharp, his silky hairs, those veiny hands, those rings that fitted perfectly on his long fingers. Everything about Mew screamed nothing but perfection. He was flawless.
Gulf wondered how it would be to run his fingers through those silky hairs,how would it be to be held by those stong arms, how would his own fingers look when held between those long ones. His own private thoughts made him blush, for a moment he thought his face was on fire. To add to his embarassment the man who was so into driving decided to check on him at that very moment. Gulf are you alright you don't look good. He was trying his best to not look at Mew. He didn't know what to say, to his luck a growl from his stomach saved him .Phi it's just I am hungry. Gulf face palmed at his answer but then he thought it's better than telling Mew the truth. You should have told me earlier that you are hungry, come on let's get something into your tummy. Phi it's ok I will order take out once I reach my condo. Nong I will take you to a place, I am sure you have not gone there.
Mew parked the car and got down while Gulf followed him into a small restaurant. Even though it looked small it felt so homely.
You know Gulf the food here is really tasty. Once you eat from here you will never forget the taste in your life. Many people doesn't know this place and here it's not about business. I and Jane were a regular here,...it's my first time here in ten years. In fact I was not sure if it was still here. Gulf didn't know whether he should be happy that Mew brought him here or sad thinking how difficult it might be for him. Gulf ordered a rice and Gka Prow(Basil Chicken) while Mew ordered a Noodle soup."Mmm..Phi this is so yummy,.... you know this is my favorite. Seeing Gulf devouring the dish Mew couldn't help but chuckle.What phi...Nothing...you really love spicy food right..Yes Phi...Phi your soup is really bland. I can't stomach spicy food nong. We are polar opposite phi. Now Gulf was pouting.You look cute with that pout of yours. Gulf's cheek suddenly kissed pink like a spring rose. Phii.. Gulf whined. It had started raining while they were eating. Mew payed the bills despite Gulf being stubborn over splitting the bills. They ran into their car and Mew started driving towards Gulf's condo.The drive was difficult as it was raining heavily, Mew could hardly see the road. They somehow made it Gulf's place. Phi, it is raining heavily it doesn't look like it will stop very soon. It's not safe to drive why don't you stay the night at my apartment. Mew initially resisted but finally had to give into Gulf, as the rain seemed to continue pouring heavily with no intention to slow down any time soon.
Gulf's was a single bedroom apartment, but simple and elegant. It was more than enough for him and he prefered it like that. On entering the condo, gulf got a towel and a pair of pajamas for Mew to change into. He himself changed into comfortable ones.They had some more time as it was not time to get to bed. Phi there is only one bed.. Gulf we can share the bed as long as it's okay with you. Alright phi how about we have some wine.? I am ready. Gulf poured two glasses one for him and another one for Mew.They raised their glasses said cheers and took a sip. Somewhere in between Mew came closer towards him a pulled Gulf into a hug, and rested his head on the Gulf's shoulder. Gulf was frozen in place, he didn't know how to react. What happened next made Gulf dumbstruck. Thank you Gulf for listening to me, for comforting me, thank you for yesterday night. Gulf was silent for some time, he was processing everything that happened now. When he came back to his senses he spoke "Phi you remember... I.. thought.." No I didn't forget I was just too embarassed to bring it up. But if I don't thank you then that would be selfish of me. I am sorry I interrupted your sleep yesterday."Why did you take me there ...to that restaurant today."If I need to move on then I need to learn to accept and face my past .You know Gulf I stopped singing, I stopped playing guitar, going to that restuarant's and so many other things as they brought back many memories of her. What hurt me the most was, when I found her diary after her death, she knew it already Gulf, she knew that she will never make out of the pregnancy, yet she chose to keep me in darkness. Mew eyes were brimmed with unshed tears. Gulf stood up from the couch and hugged Mew into his chest. He could feel his shirt getting wet with Mew's tears.
Phi can I ask you something, why are you forcing yourself not to remember P'Jane, weren't they beautiful memories.You both made those memories to remember and cherish for a lifetime and not to forget. What you are doing is unfair to her. If she had told you about the complications, you would have never let her continue the pregnancy. She was a mother phi, a mother will do all that she can to protect her child. If it was now won't you do the same thing as she did, you value their life more than yours. Phi you need to keep those memories fresh and never stop loving her because she deserves it. What you need to do is accept that she is not here physically present but she is within you.You need to open your heart and try to make space for someone else too.That does not mean you have to replace her. Just find someone who accepts you as a whole that include Phi Jane and the twins.That someone will let you fullfil your last promise to her. Both Mew and Gulf were crying now. Gulf took Mew's face in his hands and looked into those eyes that were now red from crying with all sincerity and love he had in him, they didn't notice how they were coming closer gradually.
Phi please let go all those sorrow and grief and embrace those lovely and beautiful memories with a smile, do it for you, for your princess, your cupcake, parents and most importantly Phi Jane, for me(he said in his heart) and please begin again like how she wanted you too. Now they were so close to each other that they could feel their breaths, loooking into each others eyes ,Mew could see the sincerity in Gulf's, slowly Mew clossed the distance between them. He place his moist lips on Gulf's tender rosy lips. They moved their lips in a slow rhythm, while Mew place his hand's around Gulf's waist and pulled him towards him. It was not a kiss filled with lust. It was a kiss of promise, assurance sincerity and gratitude, where Gulf promised Mew to stay by his side whereas Mew promised to let go and Begin Again.
