Gulf burst into laughter as he finished talking, he had tried hard not to, but at the end he gave up.

Mew glared at Gulf and then sat on the bed pouting.

Gulf you are just 24 and I am 30 with twins, which parents would want their son to take huge responsibilities at a young age and that too when we doesn't know the future of our relationship.

Gulf held Mew's face in his palms which caused Mew to stare at his face.

Mew sensed the seriousness in the young man's voice. He never knew that this naive and gentle man, in front of him, had a powerful side to him.
Gulf slowly sat on Mew's lap with his hands around the latter's neck.

Mew was bewildered both by his actions and words.
Gulf leaned closer to Mew's ears. The latter felt the younger male's warm breath on his ears.
" I like you phi... " He said in a hushed voice, just enough for Mew to hear, but there was sincerity and certainity in it.
Before Mew could speak Gulf got up from his lap and walked towards the door, "I will wait for you downstairs".
Once he was out of the room and made sure that door was closed, Gulf sighed heavily. His legs were jelly like, he patted himself for boldly letting his feelings out, without messing it up.
He was still not ready to hear Mew's reply, fear of rejection engulfed him from within.
Meanwhile Mew sat dumbstruck for an initial few seconds. Gulf's sudden confession shook him from inside. He knew he will have to give a reply soon, if not today, some other day.
"Am I ready for it?"
All his worries about meeting Gulf's parents vanished right away after he heard those words that fell from Gulf's mouth. He let it aside as he has a big task to complete today.
Gulf was biting his finger nails, pacing back and forth downstairs. Even though he had confessed in full swag, now he was all nervous and excited at the same time. Mew who had witnessed this from upstairs chuckled at the immediate change in Gulf's attitude.
"Do you have any idea how cute you look like this? " Mew teased in the same tone Gulf used on him back in the bedroom. Gulf stopped pacing at Mew's voice.
"Oh.. You are ready..... then let's go. You are driving Mr CEO. "

Gulf was silenced without warning by a pair of soft thick lips. He stood still initially, then gradually melted into the kiss. Mew held Gulf tight by his waist and pulled him close, while the latter gripped onto his shoulders.
" You were talking too much. " Mew said as he pulled his lips away.
" Phi you didn't need to kiss me to shut me up. " Gulf said a little upset.

Both Mew and Gulf were seated in the living room at Gulf's home while Gulf's father sat opposite to them. The room was filled with an awkward silence.
" So he is my rumoured son-in-law? " Gulf's father asked.
Mew chocked on the tea he was drinking.
" Dad we want to be honest with you. I hope phi Grace have already mentioned about the rumours online. So Mild and phi Tong suggested we get engaged just for one year to save my carrier. "
So Mr.... Sir you can call me Mew.
Mew from what my son told me you are just being generous to him.
"Sir it's not me who is generous, but it's your son who has been kind enough to find time for me and my twins and give them the love and care they had been craving for.
Initially it was just a solution to help Gulf out of the rumors. But now he is an integral part of our life, my children love him just like how they love me.
"Gulf you can't do that, what will you both tell the kids after one year. That will really give them a wrong impression about relationships. You can't get engaged just to save your image. I can never agree to this. " Dad spoke again
Dad will you leave me and phi Grace if your dad ask you to, no right then how do you expect me to leave my kids just because you don't agree. If you don't trust me, you should atleast have some belief in your upbringing.
Let me be frank, there is one more reason why I am getting engaged, I like phi Mew and the twins.

" I would get back to you Mr Suppasit, for now let me check what mom is doing in the kitchen, I need to tell her that we are not staying for dinner before she cooks a feast." With that Gulf let Mew and his dad alone.

Back in the bedroom, both men were getting ready to sleep.
" Your mother packed a lot of food. "

Mew turned sideways facing Gulf and rested his head on his hand.

" I remember someone telling me, that they needed more time, but I didn't expect it to be this fast."
"Aww.. Gulf are you really an actor. Haven't you seen how people react in movies and series in such scenes and here you are having fun teasing me. "
"Someone told me today that I shouldn't delay good things just because I am not confident enough. "
" Is it my dad? "Gulf asked.
" Yes... I don't even know will I wake up next morning, then why should I not reveal my feelings at present for you, just because I am worried it will end bad in the future." Mew spoke again.
Phi... We wouldn't know what will our future be, if we don't make a beginning in the present.

Mew bend down and placed a soft kiss on Gulf's forehead.
Gulf's eyes brimmed with tears of joy.
"You have no idea how long I had been waiting for this" Gulf said in a muffled voice.
Mew was surprised by his words.
" Everyone may not be lucky enough to meet their first crush after twelve long years like me phi"
Gulff... Mew called with a low voice
" Yes phi you were the only one in my heart since that day".
Mew didn't waste a second,may be time stopped when their lips met. The feelings were intense this time. His heart skipped a beat at the thought of how this would mark a new beginning in their life.
Gulf held onto Mew's shoulders. He felt a wave of warmth washing over him, the taste of him nearly silenced all his senses. His body tingled at the sight of Mew's larger frame leaning over him.
Mew pulled away gasping for air.
" As we have already settled today's talks, why don't we complete what we left unfinished yesterday. "
Mew asked in his breathy voice, that he knew was what made his nong weak.
