Alex's Pov
It's been a few hours since the match, and Charlotte and I are sitting on the sofa watching a movie in Samuels house with everyone else.
Charlotte is currently on the edge a bit, Mrs Hale was checking Charlotte today after the match to see how the baby was, and we were told that the baby is due soon, as soon as we had gotten home from the match Charlotte made me pack one of those labour bag thingy's, and also bring it everywhere with us.
"It's hard to believe you two will be parents any time this week" Jessica says as she walks over to all of us on the couch "I know, I can't believe it either" Charlotte continues "to be honest, it's hard believing you'll be a parent" Jessica says then punches my arm.
"I think you'll do amazing" Charlotte says then she plants a small kiss on my lips "thanks love" just then the door barged open, and in came Alexander with two crates of beer "lets get the party started!" Alexander then set down the crates, opened one then threw me a beer "I'm not drinking Alexander" I then throw him the beer back "what, why not, you were fucking lethal the night" Alexander whines.
"Charlotte's waters could break at any moment, so I have to stay sober" I say then wrapping my arms around Charlotte "awk you're such a bum" he says sulking into the couch, just then I felt the weight beside me lift "are you okay" I ask "yeh, I just need to go to the toilet" I then got up and she looked at me confused "what are you doing" she asks "going with you so nothing happens" I say then she laughs.
"I'll be okay" she then kisses my lips and walks away off to the toilet "can she not piss by herself now" Alexander asks "are you fucking thick or something, real question is there anything up there" I say then I hit him on the head.
"Of course there is" he says sticking his nose up at me, I just huffed back and sat down again, just then we heard something drop and break behind us "ALEX!" Charlotte screams, I jump over the couch and ran into the bathroom and found Charlotte sitting on the toilet with a puddle just in front of her, oh fuck.
"AMBER!" I shout then I heard her run in "oh shit" she says as she opens the door "call your mom and say Charlotte's waters have just broke" I say then I run out to everyone else "what's wrong" Jessica asks "Charlotte's waters broke" I say so fast I don't even think it made sense to anyone else, I then started running around the place looking for that god dam bag.
"Alex calm down for a second" Jessica says "I can't, OMG WHERE IS THAT FUCKING BAG" I shout, just then I felt a hard slap to my face "stop" Jessica says, she just fucking slapped me "did you just slap me" I ask "yes, and I'll do it again if you don't stop" then she slapped me again bring me back to reality "where did you leave the bag" where did I leave it, the car "the car" I say "there you go" Jessica says.
"You go get Charlotte and I'll start the car" Jessica says then she pushes me out of the way, I make my way to Charlotte "did you find the bag" Amber asks "yeah I did" "Alex" Charlotte whines "hey baby, it'll be okay" I say, I then lift Charlotte up bridal style and run out to Jessica who was waiting in the car.
Jessica drives as quick as she could to the hospital, as soon as Jessica stops the car I jump out with Charlotte still in my arms "can I get a doctor" I yell as I make my way into the hospital "help!, my girlfriend is going into labour" I shout looking around for any doctors or nurses, just then Mrs Hale came running out "Alex follow me" she says leading me down the hall to a private ward.
"Set her down there on the bed, Alex" I set Charlotte down on the bed "do you need me to do anything" I ask Mrs Hale "yes actually, can you take her trousers and underwear off, and open her legs with her knees bent" I give Mrs Hale a confused look "what, do you think she'll give birth with her trousers on" she asks "of course not" I say.
I then did everything Mrs Hale asked "wait does a midwife not do this" I ask "yes, I may be a nurse now but I did use to be a midwife so I know what to do, and we are short on staff and everyone at the moment so" she finishes.
"OHH FUCK!" Charlotte screams "you might want to look after your girlfriend" Mrs Hale says looking back with a smirk, what's that suppose to mean?
"Okay, Charlotte, I'll help you through this, but it will be up to you to get the baby out, okay" Mrs Hale asks "yes, just get this thing out of me!" she then grabs my hand, was probably the worse time for her to get her nails done, because there fucking digging into me.
"Charlotte, easy on the hand" I say then I get the biggest death stare from her, huh "told you" Mrs Hale whispers just enough for me to hear.
"Omg I see the head, keep pushing Charlotte" Mrs Hale says "fuck you and this baby!" oh thanks I guess "well at least you know it's Alex's big headed" Mrs Hale says, is this a bully me day or what the fuck "yeah I can feel it!" "god why does your baby have to be so big, Alex" Charlotte asks "how am I meant to know" I ask, then I felt Charlotte dig her nails into my hand again, this time drawing blood.
"Come on Charlotte just the tiniest bit then I can pull it out" Mrs Hale says "come on love, one more big push" I say then giving her my other hand, Charlotte lets out one big groan "it's out" Mrs Hale says.
"Well done, my girl" I say then kissing Charlotte on the head, she looks up at me with her big brown orbs "my gorgeous girl" I say this time kissing her lips "what are you going to name him" Mrs Hale asks as she sets the baby on Charlotte's chest "I was thinking Lucas" I know the reason "do you really want to name our baby that" I ask "I was thinking Alfie, maybe" I say then Charlotte smiles "of course my love" Charlotte says then kissing me again.
"Do you want something for your hand, Alex" Mrs Hale asks "uhm yeah, thanks" then Mrs Hale gets some gauze and wraps my hand "thanks".
"Charlotte" I ask "yes" she replies "I was gonna wait a little later for this, but I don't think I have the patients for it" I say "Charlotte you have changed my life dramatically in a year, in a good change, I would have never thought I would be here with you and now our amazing child. You have brought out the best version of me that no one else could, you made me realise that I had a purpose. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you"
"Charlotte would you make me the happiest woman, by marring me" I then took out a small velvet box and opened it revealing a ring, I look up to Charlotte and see tears streaming down her face "yes FUCK YES!" she screams then she pulls me in and kisses me.
We then pull away and I put the ring on her finger "I love you and I will always" I say then we heard clapping from behind us and mom and dad were there Mr and Mrs Williamson, Oliver and all our friends, I then look over to Jessica and she has tears in her eyes.
I unwrap myself from Charlotte and walk over to Jessica and give her a massive hug, if I hadn't have met Jessica that day I don't think I would have had the courage to ask out Charlotte "thank you so much" I whisper to Jessica "you're welcome".
I am so god dam sorry, we have a stupid play this week so I've been trying to remember these stupid dances, and I also had a science mock, it was chemistry so, easy enough, but I got my biology marks back I WAS ONE MARK FROM A GOD DAM CÂ ð I'm not repeating that fuck no.
Any ways one more chapter and that's it.
