Chapter Ten - Sleepover

Lincoln's P.O.V -

"Seriously?" Wyatt walked into the room with crossed arms. "You've been staring at that phone all morning."

"I'm worried." He hadn't responded to any of my texts. "Has he messaged Lucy?"

"I don't know." He shrugged. "I haven't spoke to her this morning."

"Well can you?" I asked desperately.

"Fine." He rolled his eyes pulling out his phone and calling her.

"Put it on speaker." I demanded.

He sighed before doing as I said. He held it out to me and I took it.

"Hi." She spoke through the phone.

"Have you heard from Milo?" I questioned straight away.

"Yeah, he came into school today but he's been really quiet." She explained.

"Oh okay, tell me if he says anything about yesterday." I told her.

"I will." She confirmed. "I've got to go now." She said before hanging up.

"Be patient." Wyatt told me taking the phone away.

I just nodded before waiting for my phone to ring again.

***

I got tired of waiting and decided to take a shower to pass time. Once I got out I noticed Wyatt on my phone.

"What are you doing?" I asked securing the towel around my waist.

"Oh I heard you phone ringing so I answered it, it was Milo by the way." He shrugged.

"What! What did he say?" I exclaimed grabbing my phone.

"He asked if he could stay here tonight." Wyatt explained. "I said he could, but Oliver is coming as well." He grimaced.

"Staying here? Like a sleepover?" I asked slightly panicked.

He rolled his eyes. "Yes, like a sleepover."

"When is he getting here?" I questioned.

"Any minute now." He shrugged. "Oh wait I think I can hear them."

There was a knock on the door and Wyatt called for them to come in.

"Wyatt! I'm in a towel." I hissed.

"Well then get changed." He suggested.

I managed to tug on a t shirt before the door opened.

"Hey guys." Wyatt greeted laying back onto my bed.

"Hi." Oliver grumbled tossing his backpack onto the ground.

Milo just nodded before sitting on the bed next to Wyatt.

"Hi." I smiled over at him. He looked up at me showing the purple bruises on his jaw his mouth twitched slightly into a smile.

I walked into the wardrobe quickly putting on some underwear and joggers before walking back out.

"What do you want to do?" I asked standing at the end of the bed.

Milo shrugged as did Wyatt. "Movie?" Oliver suggested.

I nodded. "We should go to the game room then, it has the biggest TV."

They all agreed getting up and following me into the room. Oliver and Wyatt argued who was going to sit in the arm chair while Milo and I sat on the sofa.

"It's my house." Wyatt glared.

"Exactly, I'm your guest so I get the chair." Oliver insisted.

"Fine." Wyatt grumbled walking over to the storage cupboard and pulled out a bean bag chair. Oliver began to sulk claiming he preferred bean bag chairs.

I looked over to Milo who was texting on his phone not taking his eyes off the screen.

I sighed grabbing the remote and tossing it to Wyatt to pick the movie. He picked a horror movie with a smirk on his face knowing that Oliver didn't like them.

"Are you okay?" I whispered to Milo as the movie started.

He just nodded staring at his phone.

"Okay." I mumbled with a frown.

It took twenty minutes for Milo to turn off his phone and watch the movie. I noticed him glancing over at me. I raised a brow at him, he moved over so that he was leaning against me with his head on my shoulder.

I grinned to myself beginning to play with his hair. Every time there was a jump scare both Wyatt and Oliver would jump in surprise, and Milo would start laughing at them. I usually jump at horror movies but I was so focused on Milo that I wasn't even watching it.

The movie finished and Oliver had ended up covering his face with a pillow to avoid watching the screen.

It was relatively late and Oliver claimed he was tired due to basketball so we gathered some duvets and carried them back into the game room.

"Shotgun couch." Oliver called leaping onto the furniture.

That means the rest of us will be on the floor then, which I'm fine with considering that I can sleep beside Milo.

Milo grabbed a pillow and sat down on the floor. "Here." I handed him the duvet from my bed.

"Thanks." He began to lay out the duvet. "Do you want to share? Because there's only three blankets, Wyatt, Oliver and I all have one but this ones pretty big."

I failed to stop the smile spreading across my lips. "Yeah sure."

Wyatt rolled his eyes at me. "Subtle."

I ignored him sitting beside Milo.

"Hey babe." Oliver spoke into the phone. "Yeah he's fine." He began a conversation with Lucy and we all sat quietly. I noticed the grimace on Wyatt's face every time Oliver would start laughing.

"Okay, bye." He grinned hanging up.

"You done?" Wyatt growled crossing his arms.

"What's it to you?" Oliver glared.

Wyatt was ready to respond when Milo stood up. "Do you have any clothes we can wear?"

I nodded. "Yeah I'll go get us all some."

I quickly went to my room collecting a pile of clothes for everyone before returning. Oliver was playing the basketball arcade game, Wyatt was texting on his phone with an angered expression and Milo was on the phone.

"Oliver's acting like a toddler as usual." Milo told who I'd assume is Lucy. Oliver flipped him the middle thing while still playing the game making Milo laugh.

I placed the clothes on the couch before sitting beside it. "Who are you talking to?" I asked Wyatt.

"Cora." He replied shortly.

'Are you okay?' I mindlinked him.

'If he keeps on like this I'm worried my wolf will take control and attack him' He huffed.

'Try to ignore him, Milo said that when Lucy finds out about werewolves and you two being mates she'll pick you over him.' I informed.

A smug smile spread across his face. 'Really? That's great. Wait a second, Milo knows? Since when?'

'Since yesterday.' I smiled. 'Well Lucy and him had suspected it before but I admitted it yesterday.'

'So they already thought we were werewolves? Are we really that bad at hiding things?' He mumbled.

'I guess so.' I shrugged.

"Why are you two just smiling at each other?" Milo asked clearly confused. "It's weird."

"Mind linking." I whispered to him to ensure Oliver didn't here.

"Huh?" He crossed his arms.

"Did I not tell you that we can talk to each other in our minds?" I spoke surprised.

"No you didn't, but that's cool though." He said while getting up and looking through the clothes. "There's only two t shirts here."

"Yeah." I spoke awkwardly. "Wyatt and I don't sleep in shirts."

"Neither do Oliver and I." He shrugged.

"We should go get changed." Wyatt suggested and I nodded.

"We'll be back in a couple minute." I smiled walking out.

Milo's P.O.V -

"Oliver." I called.

"Yeah?" He finished the game and walked over.

"There are clothes here." I tossed a shirt and basketball shorts to him.

"Thanks." He mumbled tugging off his jeans and shirt before pulling on the shorts.

I did the same but with the joggers I had chosen.

The door open and Lincoln and Wyatt walked in. Both had toned abs and large muscular arms. I glanced down at my flat stomach and suddenly felt extremely self conscious.

"You know what it's pretty cold in here." Oliver lied it was actually quite warm considering it's currently October. "I'm going to put this on."

"Yeah same." I muttered tugging on the baggy shirt quickly so Lincoln and Wyatt could not see my torso anymore.

Wyatt chuckled at us while Lincoln frowned slightly. "What was that?" Lincoln asked walking over.

"Nothing." I replied quickly. "It's just cold."

He narrowed his eyes. "No it's not."

"Oh well." I shrugged walking past him and over to where I had laid out the duvet.

Oliver was once again competing with Wyatt in basketball as he shouted and complained every time Wyatt got one in. He no longer seemed tired despite complaining so much earlier.

"Are you embarrassed?" Lincoln asked sitting on the duvet beside me.

"No." I insisted.

"You shouldn't be embarrassed." He pointed out.

"Good, because I'm not." I glared at him while laying down.

"Fine, I'll drop it." He sighed. "But you need to know that you're the hottest guy I've ever seen."

"Shut up." I huffed. "Let's just go to sleep."

"Alright." He moved around so that he was laying beside me and he pulled the duvet over us both.

I stared up at the ceiling for a few moments before turning to look at him. Before I could react his lips landed on mine. It was only a quick peck and he pulled away with wide eyes.

"I was going to kiss you on the cheek but you moved your head." He explained.

I smiled at him. "Sure." I spoke sarcastically.

"I was!" He exclaimed with a laugh.

"Great first kiss." I rolled my eyes.

His face dropped and his eyes got even wider. "That was my first kiss."

"That's cute." I spoke more to myself than him.

"I can't believe it." He spoke astonished.

"Your first kiss is an accident." I smirked. "But your next one won't be."

I leaned in pressing my lips to his while wrapping my left hand behind his head and pulling him towards me. He reached an arm around my waist to pull me closer.

I pulled away slightly after a few moments but our foreheads remained touching as I caught my breath.

"Woah." Lincoln whispered. I rolled my eyes with a laugh.

He leaned in to kiss me again when a pillow was thrown at us. "Disgusting." Oliver grumbled. "Don't do that in front of us."

"You make out with Lucy all the time in front of me." I regret saying that when I see the sad expression on Wyatt's face. He gives me a reassuring smile before walking over and sitting to my left where he was sleeping.

Oliver tries to think of a rebuttal but fails. "Fine whatever." He mumbled sitting on the sofa. "Now everyone be quiet and go to sleep."

I nodded in agreement turning onto my left side facing Wyatt. I'm not sure why but I can never sleep on my right side.

I felt Lincoln's arms wrap around my waist pulling me against his chest, he buried his face into my neck and remained there. The rhythmic warm breath on my skin soothed me into a deep sleep.

***

"Leave her the fuck alone!" A voice shouted pulling me from my dreamless sleep.

I opened my eyes slowly blinking a few times before my eyes focused on Oliver and Wyatt arguing.

"I wasn't doing anything!" Wyatt retorted.

Why do I feel like I've heard this exact argument ten times already?

"Shut up." I groaned tiredly.

They both looked at me with a glare telling me not to interrupt. I sighed rolling onto my other side to look at Lincoln. He gave me a small smile.

"Did they wake you up too?" I asked with a croaky voice.

"Yeah, I'm surprised you didn't wake up sooner they've been arguing for about ten minutes." Lincoln told me in his morning voice which sent shivers down my spine.

I chuckled. "What about?"

"What do you think?" He said.

"Lucy." I presumed.

He nodded. "Oliver caught Wyatt texting Lucy."

I rolled my eyes sitting up and running my hand through my hair. "What time is it?"

"Six." He answered.

I groaned falling back onto the bed. "What day is it?"

"Friday." He said.

"Ugh." I fell back onto the pillow.

"You got a message." Lincoln told me passing me my phone which had been charging near him.

"Thanks." I looked at the screen my heart speeding up. "It's my mum." I muttered worried.

I opened it looking at the message. 'Come home.'

I stood up looking for where I had put my clothes, I quickly changed once I found them no longer caring about Lincoln and Wyatt seeing me.

"Where are you going?" Lincoln asked slightly concerned.

"Home." I replied tugging on my shoes and grabbing my phone. "I'll see you all later."

"Wait. How are you getting home?" Oliver called after me. "I drove you here."

"Oh yeah." I mumbled.

"I'll drive you." Lincoln offered standing up.

"Thanks." I smiled. I waited patiently as he put on some shoes and went to his room to get his car keys.

I followed him into the car and he quickly drove us to my house. Once we got there my mum was stood outside waiting and I noticed how this situation looked.

I wanted my mum to accept my sexuality yet I decided to show up with a half naked guy in the car. Great, just great.

I climbed out quickly hoping Lincoln would drive away straight away, fortunately he did. I walked over to my mum nervously.

"Was he naked?" She asked with disapproval.

"No, just topless." I mumbled.

"Where were you last night?" She asked crossing her arms.

I had told her I was staying at a friends house but I didn't say who's, she probably would have assumed I was staying at Lucy's if it wasn't for Lincoln in the car.

"Lincoln and Wyatt's house, Oliver was there too." I told her.

"Who are they?" She sighed.

"Some new friends we made a couple weeks ago." I stuffed my hands in the pockets of my jeans.

"Let's go inside." She spoke quietly looking around to see if anyone had seen us.

I followed her in and sat on the couch while she stood a few feet away from me.

"Mark said you had a boyfriend, who is it?" She asked taking me by surprise.

"I don't have one yet." I stated. "He thought Lincoln was my boyfriend because he saw us on a date."

"Was Lincoln the one in the car?" I nodded in reply. "And he's gay?" I nodded again.

"You can't sleep over at his again." She said.

I frowned. "But-"

"No, I wouldn't have let you stay at a girl's house before so you can't stay at gay guys' houses now." She commanded.

Although it seemed unfair, it made sense. For some reason this made me feel as if she was slowly accepting this.

"Okay." I felt a slight smile on my face.

"You won't do anything with a boyfriend in front of me and I don't want you to tell anyone at the church about this." She explained.

I nodded, I wouldn't have told the church anyway. I wouldn't want mum to face criticism from everyone. I'm not comfortable with PDA in front of my family anyway so the first part wasn't really an issue.

"Have you had sex?" She blurted suddenly.

"W-what?" I spluttered.

"Well while we're on the topic I thought I might as well ask." Her face was serious. "Have you had sex?"

"With Lincoln? Or in general?" I ask confused.

"Both." She glared seeming to already know my answer.

"Not with Lincoln but, uh, I have." My face flushed.

"How many?" She continued.

I'd be so thankful if God killed me right now so I didn't have to answer. "How many times have I had sex or how many people?" I winced at my own words.

"How many people?" She spoke with disappointment.

"Uh." I thought for a moment. "Four? No five. Five people."

"Five!" She spoke astonished. "Who?"

I can't believe I'm having this conversation with the person who two weeks ago didn't care that I was meeting random people at bars.

"Zoe, Rita, Ben, Nate and Lucas." I listed quietly.

"Two girls?" She raised a brow. I just nodded not making eye contact. "I don't know these people apart from Nate."

Well she knew Ben, he was the Priest of our church's son, but I definitely did not want to tell her that.

"Two of them don't even go to my school." I explained. "Zoe and Lucas." I elaborated.

"So were you in a relationship with all these people at the time?" She asked hopeful.

I bit my lip. "Only Nate and Rita."

She released a sigh while pinching the bridge of her nose. "Yeah I'm done with this conversation."

"Thank you." I mumbled.

"Now get ready for school." I nodded rushing upstairs to get ready.
