Chapter Fifty - Relax
Milo's P.O.V -
"Good luck today." I told Lincoln.
It was now the 28th, the day Lincoln would be seeing a therapist.
"Thanks." He mumbled shaking his leg up and down.
"You don't need to be nervous." I told him wrapping my arms around him.
"I know." He whispered. "I just don't know what to expect."
"They won't force you to talk about anything you don't want to." I kissed the top of his head.
"Yeah." He breathed. "I should get going."
He stood up and grabbed his phone off the bedside table.
"So are you coming home afterwards or are you heading straight to the other pack?" I asked him.
"I have to come back here to get Wyatt and Cora but I'll probably just wait in the car rather than coming in." Lincoln explained.
"Alright, I'll see you tonight then?" I watched as he walked over to the door.
"Yeah but I'm not sure what time." He answered. "And can I also add that I loved how you just called this house home."
I rolled my eyes at him. "Goodbye Lincoln."
"Bye Milo." He smiled. "I'll try call you when we get to the other pack."
I nodded and watched as he left the room.

"So you can't put full weight on the leg yet, start with light steps and then slowly make them heavier over the next couple days." The doctor explained.
I nodded excitedly. They took my cast off and replaced it with a walking boot.
"And you understand how to put it on?" He double checked.
"Yes." I spoke quickly.
I wasn't entirely sure but there would be a tutorial somewhere on YouTube, I just didn't want to give them a reason to put the cast back on.
"Okay well I'll schedule an appointment for about two weeks time but if anything goes wrong between now and then, then call us." He told me.
"Okay." I nodded again.
"You may leave." He gestured to the door.
I stood up and out of habit didn't put any pressure on my leg. I still had my crutches because I wasn't supposed to walk without them until I could put my full weight on my leg.
Lucy smiled at me when I walked out. "Look at you." She glanced down at the boot. "You can start walking soon."
"That makes me sound like a baby who is taking it's first steps." I laughed.
"That's basically what you are." She shrugged. "Let's go to the car."
We left the hospital and drove back to Lincoln and Wyatt's house. Once we got inside I began with faint steps on my right leg, my crutches still held most of my weight but this was progress. Soon I wouldn't need crutches at all.
I laid on the sofa with Lucy sitting with my feet in her lap while Bella sat in the armchair. We were all watching a movie, we started it after dinner. I had expected Lincoln to be back by now but he wasn't.
Cole walked in which made Bella tense but she didn't do anything else. He just sat on the floor in front of the couch and watched the end of the movie with us. Bella left as soon as it ended, Cole seemed to put her on edge.
"I'm bored." Cole turned to us.
"Are you suggesting that you want to spend time with us?" I raised a brow. "Who's forcing you?"
He rolled his eyes. "No one, but I have a shit ton of alcohol and Cora says that it's depressing when I drink alone so I'm inviting you two."
"Okay." I agreed immediately. "I'm not turning down free alcohol."
Lucy nodded in agreement.
"Great, I'll go get the drinks." Cole jumped up and left quickly.
He soon returned with multiple bottle. "Now you're human right? So these are for you."
He placed two bottles in front of us.
"Why do you have human alcohol?" I picked up the bottle of vodka glancing at him confused.
"Sometimes I want to drink without getting drunk." He shrugged.
"Fair enough." Lucy smiled grabbing the bottle of whiskey.
***
There was something nice about a relaxing night drinking, I still preferred parties but sitting around with friends with music on was fun.
"Can't believe you and Cora are having a baby." Lucy said as she sat down in my lap. "You're so young."
"Yeah." He chuckled. "The plan was to have kids at twenty seven, and I'm twenty so we're about seven years early."
We smiled at him.
"I'm so fucking excited though." He mumbled sipping his drink.
"Do you know if it's a boy or a girl?" I questioned.
"Cora knows already." Cole told us. "She wants to do a reveal party, the initial idea was that we would both find out at the party but Cora didn't like the idea of people knowing before her so she asked the doctor."
"Are you okay with that?" Lucy asked him.
He shrugged. "I don't think it's fair that she knows and I don't, but I don't want to bring it up with her. She's really wants me to find out at the party."
"Bit hypocritical." I mumbled.
"Yeah, but she's already scared and stressed about the baby so she's trying to control everything." Cole explained. "So I don't want to make things worse, I'm not going to argue about the little things."
"Gender of the baby is quite a big thing." I told him.
"Not really." Cole replied. "I don't care either way and it's not something I can change, so it doesn't matter if I find out now or when the baby is born."
I nodded. "So it's just a bit annoying having your mate keeping a secret from you?"
"Exactly." Cole nodded as the front door opened.
Lincoln, Wyatt and Cora entered the house. They were talking quietly about something but I couldn't hear them.
"Hey guys!" Lucy exclaimed jumping off me and running over to Wyatt.
She wrapped her arms around him and jumped up and wrapped her legs around his waist before pulling him into a kiss. He stared at her with wide eyes and pulled away from the kiss releasing a small laugh.
"Hi Lucy, happy to see me?" He grinned at her.
"She's drunk." Cole told them as Cora walked over to him.
"Are you?" Cora asked standing in front of where he was sat in the armchair.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his head on her pregnant belly. "I am." He admitted.
She smiled placing a hand in his hair. "Have you been having fun while I've been stuck at a boring meeting?"
He pulled away and smiled up at her. "Yeah, I would invite you to join but-" He poked her stomach. "Somebody's stopping you."
She let out a small laugh. "They are."
"Whenever you call the baby they, I always thing there's two babies." He mumbled.
She sat down in his lap and smiled at him. "I promise you there's only one."
"Good." He smiled looping his arm around her stomach. "Two is too many."
"It is." She agreed.
I looked away from them and towards Lincoln who was talking to Wyatt and Lucy, Lucy had finally got off Wyatt but still remained hugging him. Lincoln seemed to sense me staring at him so he turned to me with a smile, he walked over to me.
"Hey." He said glancing between my drink and the bottle of vodka. "Are you drunk?"
"Partially." I told him. "Enough to stop me from walking in a straight line but not too much that I can't talk."
Lincoln smiled sitting down beside me on the couch. "Good, I'm too tired to take care of you."
"How was today?" I asked him.
He rested his head on my shoulder. "Fine, we renewed the treaty with the pack and the doctor asked me to come back the same time next week."
"Yeah?" I raised a brow trying to gouge how he was feeling.
"Yeah." He mumbled reaching forward to grab the bottle Cole was drinking from. "I don't want to talk about that today though, I'll tell you about it tomorrow, for now I want to relax with my mate and friends."
"Here." Wyatt said as he walked over with three glasses, he passed one to Lincoln and then gave one to Cora. He kept the last one for himself.
Lincoln poured a large amount of the alcohol into the glass before grabbing the bottle of coke on the coffee table and filling the rest of the glass.
"That's quite strong." I told him.
"I need to catch up." He smirked sipping at it.
"Milo!" Lucy exclaimed as she walked over straddling my waist.
She was easily the most drunk but she had also drank the most so it made sense.
"Yeah Lucy?" I asked glancing over at Wyatt who was glaring at me.
"Wyatt said that I can't drink anymore." She whined. "That's mean."
"Okay, well Wyatt might kill me if you don't move and that's more mean." I told her.
"Your gay." She stated.
"I know." I smiled in amusement. "But you're not so I don't think your mate wants you to be on other guys."
"I'm not attracted to you." Lucy mumbled resting her head on my chest. "You're my brother."
I smiled glancing over to Lincoln who was watching her amused.
Wyatt sighed and walked over sitting beside Lincoln. "Lucy come here."
"Noooo." She trailed off. "I want to be with Milo, he's nice to me."
"I'm nice to you Lucy." Wyatt mumbled.
"You are, but you're not letting me drink right now." Lucy's voice was slightly muffled but we could all still understand her. "You don't need to be jealous, I don't have a crush on Milo."
I laughed looking at Wyatt who continued to stare at her.
"Anymore." She added quietly.
"Anymore?" Wyatt gritted out. "So you used to have a crush on him? Lucy get off him."
I laughed again which seemed to annoy Wyatt more. "When we were like fourteen Wyatt, it's fine."
I noticed even Lincoln's mood had changed and he was looking at Lucy with slight caution.
"If you sit on Wyatt like this I'm sure he'll give you some alcohol. Especially if you move your hips a bit." I smirked.
Lucy nodded and got off me. She walked over to Wyatt and fell into his lap.
"Don't do what he said, at least not here." Wyatt told her. "If you drink a glass of water you can go back to drinking."
Lucy smiled and placed a kiss on his cheek. "Thank you."
"So you used to have a crush on Milo?" Wyatt teased her.
"Yeah, before I knew he was gay." She smiled over at me.
"Before I knew I was gay." I chuckled.
Lincoln smiled warmly at me and placed an arm over my shoulders.
"Straight Milo was awful, you guys would've hated him." Lucy spoke knowingly.
"I doubt that." Lincoln replied looking at Lucy then back to me. "I bet straight Milo and me when I was straight would've been great friends."
I shook my head. "No Lucy's right, you would've hated me, I hated me. I was a dick."
"How so?" Lincoln asked with interest.
"I was confused and angry about my sexuality so I kind of projected those feelings onto girls." I explained.
"Or in other words, he'd pretend to like them and then completely screw them over." Lucy clarified.
"Yeah, that." I nodded tightening my hold on Lincoln.
He frowned at me before looking back to Lucy. "In what way?"
"I'll just give you some examples." Lucy said. "He lost his virginity to, what's her name?"
"Zoe." I mumbled feeling slightly uncomfortable with this conversation.
"Yeah Zoe, they met at this party and spent the whole night talking. He made all these promises about taking her on dates and being her boyfriend." Lucy seemed very amused by the story. "Zoe didn't go to our school, so Milo knew he could easily avoid her. So he had sex with her and the gave her a fake number."
I winced at the memory. Lincoln looked at me surprised, as did Wyatt.
"Sounds like my first time." Cole mused, I hadn't realized that him and Cora were listening.
"Cole!" Cora gasped and slapped his chest.
"What?" He chuckled. "I mean it was a shitty thing to do, but everyone does stupid things when they're young."
"Exactly." I agreed. "I regret it now but I was a dumb fourteen year old."
"That's another thing." Lucy pointed at me. "Who loses their virginity at fourteen?"
"Me apparently." I shrugged.
"Fourteen." Lincoln laughed. "When I was fourteen Wyatt and I were playing with Legos."
"Hey!" Wyatt exclaimed. "I still have Legos, they're cool."
"Sure they are." Lucy patted his arm. "How old was everyone else when they lost their virginity, you must be the youngest Milo."
"Eighteen." Cora answered smiling up at Cole who smiled back at her.
"Fifteen." Cole told us. "Just barely, it was only about a week after my birthday so I was close to the same age as Milo."
"See exactly!" I grinned victoriously at Lucy who giggled.
"I was Sixteen?" Lucy looked at me confused. "Or seventeen?"
"How am I supposed to know?" I laughed. "Valentines day, that's all I can remember."
"Right." She started thinking. "My birthday's in April so I was sixteen."
"I was seventeen." Wyatt said glancing over to Lincoln. "And virgin Mary over there will never lose it at this rate."
Lincoln threw a glare at Wyatt.
"Come on." I began. "That's not a fair comparison, because even virgin Mary had sex eventually."
Everyone laughed while Lincoln sighed.
"You're supposed to be on my side." He pouted.
I kissed him quickly. "It's funny."
"To clarify, I want to have sex with Milo, he's the one who doesn't want to." Lincoln explained with red cheeks.
"They're not going to believe you." I smirked leaning into him more.
"There's no way that's true." Lucy stated. "Milo loves sex, he's not going to be the reason you two aren't having sex."
"See?" I spoke quietly so they couldn't hear.
"Milo." Lincoln frowned. "Tell them."
"Tell them what?" I tilted my head mocking confusion.
His face dropped and he gave me a glare. I laughed at him before turning to everyone else.
"Alright." I spoke still laughing. "Yeah it's my fault."
"Thank you." Lincoln mumbled in my ear before pulling away and sipping his drink.
Lucy raised a brow in confusion but didn't ask any questions.
"Ooh." Lucy perked up suddenly. "I have another example of why Milo was a dick when he was young."
"Great." I sighed. "Let's hear it then Lucy."
