Colby noticed and smirked.
âIs that your girlfriend calling? Kyson, how can you ignore your girlfriend like that? How did someone as inconsiderate as you even get a girlfriend?â
Kyson felt a twinge of embarrassment.

Kyson quickly wrapped his wounded finger with a tissue and walked over to lift Destinee into his arms.
âDestinee, youâre such a brave girl.
We wonât go back to N&L Fairy Land tonight, but Iâll stay right here with you, okay?â
Destinee pouted and nestled into Kysonâs embrace, visibly upset.
âWhereâs Daddy? Whereâs Mommy? I want to sleep in Mommyâs arms.
I canât fall asleep without her.
