By the time Kyson arrived, Lucinda had already seated herself on the sofa and politely poured him a cup of tea.
âWhatâs the matter?â Lucinda asked.
âIâm about to get off work.
â
With a smile, Kyson took the cup, had a sip, and asked, âIâm curious why you refused me so directly at noon.
Is it because of the servant in your villa?â
Pouring herself a cup of tea, Lucindaâs tone turned serious as she said, âI know we are the same kind of person, so we canât be together.
â
In her mind, Kyson was domineering and paranoid.
Also, he seemed to be possessive and a bit of a neat freak.
âSo, you have no connection with him?â
Lucinda pondered for a moment.
If she wanted Kyson to completely stop pursuing her, she needed to find an uncontrollable factor that would make him give up entirely.
âNot exactly.
Heâs more like a good-looking pet I keep in the villa,â she replied.
Hearing this, Kyson furrowed his brow.
âAm I not as good-looking as him?â
Lucinda didnât respond.
She picked up the cup and finished her tea.
A smile slowly spread across Kysonâs face as he thought of something.
âIt seems that you donât know much about your pet.
You donât know what heâs capable of doing behind your back.
â
âWhat do you mean?â Lucinda asked.
Kyson gracefully stood up and straightened his uniform.
âLet me show you what he has been doing behind your back.
Come with me.
â
In the suburbs, there was a small cottage.
The door made of wood swung open.
Outside, Sonny concealed himself and waited patiently.
Nathaniel, his back facing the sun, entered the cottage slowly.
Eleanor sat on the small bed in a daze, but as soon as she heard the voice, she turned her head and saw Nathaniel.
Tears welled up in her eyes.
Anxious and unsteady, she struggled to get out of bed and fell to the ground, stumbling toward Nathaniel.
