[Taehyung's Point of View]
"Welcome home Son", said mom as she opened the door for me.
"Why are you up till so late?", I questioned as it supposed to be the servant who should be opening the door.
"I couldn't sleep in the erupting enthusiasm to see my son after a whole week.....", She answered with a full smile.
"Where's my darling? Don't tell me you left her behind to get rid of her, don't trouble her so much, she's like my daughter", mom spoke while I followed her to inside.
"Not your daughter mom", I pressed my lips together, rolling my eyes to myself.
"Why not?", She turned to look at me.
"I don't share my mom", I said moving ahead to kiss on her forehead.
"It's already past three, go and freshen up and take some sleep, I hope you ain't going to the work tomorrow", she said as if was commanding.
"Do I have any other choice?", I spoke walking up through the staircase.
"Jade came to pick her up so she went with her", I answered mom's previous question.
"I'm aware, Jade called home to ask your flight details", she spoke causing me to turn to her.
She chuckled and I shook my head in disbelief. Never understood what lord must be thinking while creating women.
I entered the room and the first thing I did was remove my shirt. The air conditioner was already turned on, must be mom.
I reached to the closet to pull out my shorts.
After quickly washing myself up I reached to the bed. My eyes felt heavy but I wanted to call someone before drifting off to sleep.
[Your Point of View]
"Now tell me! For how long are you going to keep me in the suspense?!", I yelled sitting on the bed after washing myself up.
"Uh! I'm little nervous.....", She spoke in a shrill voice.
"I don't care! Tell me!", I was getting impatient and this lady wasn't opening her mouth.
"Okay fine, so Mr. Kâ", my phone's ring interrupted her.
I disconnected without looking at the caller ID as I was too eager to know who was the guy about whom Jade was talking about.
"Yep contiâ", the phone rang up again but I disconnected once again.
"UGH! WHO THE HELL IS CALLING THIS LATE! JUST SPILL IT JADE!", I screamed as I was getting impatient.
"At least check who's calling, what if it's the Boss", Jade winked at me.
"Oh stop! He must be snoring right now", I rolled my eyes.
"Oh so he snores too?", She giggled, of course she knew we were staying in the same room.
"Not really, just the little ones", I chuckled.
The phone rang up again but this time I closely looked at the caller ID, it was him, Jade was right.
My eyes popped out.
"It's him~", I spoke in a muffled tone as if he could hear us.
"Go no~".
I swiped the green button.
"What took you so long?", He spoke as soon as I attended the call.
I furrowed. Why he was always pissed?!
"I was just talking to Jade but your call interrupted and I didn't look at the ID before disconnecting", I spoke the truth and shrugged.
He stayed quite.
"And.....is their something you forgot? Why did you call?", I asked with hesitation as the silence was uncomfortable.
"Forgot? Nah, this person just ran away from me.....", He spoke from the other side. I instantly knew he was talking about me.
I looked at Jade who was looking at me. She wriggled her eyebrows.
"I did not~", I answered, I didn't want to be so loud about us.
"Is she near?", He understood, I hummed as a response but Jade seemingly noticed my hesitation. She raised her eyebrows in realisation and started leaving outside of the room.
"I guess somebody's at the door", she lied causing me to erupt a laughter. It was a flat lie.
"At 3:30? Must be demons!", I teased her. She slapped my butt before moving out and leaving me all alone.
"Yeah Mr. Kim Taehyung, what were you saying?", I asked as Jade closed the door behind her.
"Why are you still awake?", He asked.
"Jade and I were just talking......", I shrugged.
"Why did you call?", I asked as he still didn't tell me the reason.
"Don't be awake till this late, I want you to report to the office in the morning on time", he started. I furrowed.
"In the morning? We have just arrived! I'm tired and so you are, why we have to work?!", I busted out in rage.
"You are the employee and I'm the boss, I ain't going but you have to", he said coldly.
Why he was always cruel to me?! I felt like crying out.
"WHY ARE YOU NOT REPORTING THEN?! YOU ARE THE BOSS DOESN'T MEAN THE RULE DOESN'T APPLY TO YOU!", I yelled as I was so done with him.
"I'm taking my girlfriend to the breakfast date", he stated.
My fury turned into confusing.
"Girlfriend? That's me.....are you talking about me?", He left me puzzled.
"Nah, it's Jade, she's my girlfriend, who are you even?", He spoke, I can hear amusement in his voice.
A smile crept up over my lips. I settled on the bed after being restless for last few minutes.
"Why you do that!?", I groaned and lied flat down to face the ceiling and my mind focused to his voice.
"Maybe because I'm missing my roommate", he spoke in a soft tone.
"Maybe?.......and roommate?.......fine, I'm taking that", I shrugged faking being offended.
"So Miss. Roommate, want to accompany me for the date tomorrow?", He asked.
"But I guess you lately said that you are going with your girlfriend? And it's a breakfast date, seems quite obnoxious to me", I spoke dramatically, playing along.
"I can ditch her for you", he answered.
"Just 24 hours of relationship and you are talking about ditching already? I guess I gotta talk to your girl so she can look through", I teased.
"Ah, wrong drill Miss. Roommate wrong drill", he spoke in disappointment causing me to bust out a laughter.
"So no breakfast date?", He asked being serious again.
He switches too quick!
"I've never been on one......", I shrugged, I just went on one date with my highschool infatuation and the dude ruined everything by being cringe the whole time and taking about just his mom. The mama's baby.
"So by any chance my first girlfriend left me because I took her to the breakfast date?", He asked. His voice was sincere. I was wishing to see him right at this moment.
I supposed to laugh but his first girlfriend? When was this?! I hate being like that! He has an individual life for God sake!
"You there?", I heard him say.
"Oh yes, uh well, don't know but we can try out.....", I shrugged.
"Sleep now, I'll pick you up from Jade's place in the morning", he said.
"Yep, you too....", I said and we disconnected.
I kept my phone aside and called out for Jade. I furrowed when she didn't answer.
I stepped out of the bed to check up on her. My eyes instantly caught her. She was fast asleep over the couch. Gladly it was big enough to not be uncomfortable to her or that was what I guessed.
I went back to the room to carry out a blanket for Jade.
I covered her into that. I noticed a frown on her forehead. Running my fingers over it I wiped it off. She was so precious of me I hope that only thing come to her is happiness.
I removed the hair strands from her face and adjusted the air conditioner's temperature before going to bed myself.
{Next Morning}
[Taehyung's Point of View]
I walked down the stairs, although I was aware that it was way too early and Y/n must be still sleeping but I couldn't wait to see her. The addiction felt wrong but I couldn't help.
"Too early? I thought you have planned to not go to the office?", Mom spoke not liking my move.
"Yeah, I'm just going to pick Y/n.......", It was too sudden for me to come up with the whole false plot as an excuse.
"She can come by herself my child and I don't want you to disturb her, she must be sleeping right now", she scolded.
Can you provide my proofs which says that she's my mom? No? Neither can I.
"She told me to pick her up", I shrugged, I just wanted to leave.
"She? Y/n? Told YOU? And you agreed?", She spoke in daze.
Why mom's are so dramatic but always hit the nail??
"Mom......please.....", I said and started to leave.
"If anything going on between you two then know that I approve!", I heard her as I exit.
I bit my lower lip to suppress a laugh but I soon wiped it off looking around and cleared my throat.
I pulled out the car and drove off.
It was morning so the roads were empty. It didn't take me much to cover the distance.
I rang the doorbell and answered by sleepy Jade. Her eyelids barely opening.
"Good morning boss.....", She spoke in a morning hoarse voice. I didn't bethink that I'm going to disturb her as well.
"Uh I'm soâ".
"Please get in......", She spoke cutting me mid sentence.
I nodded and went inside.
"Y/n is still asleep", she informed closing the front door.
"Yeah.....I guess I'm too early, please you can resume your sleep.....", I was hesitating as it felt awkward.
"I'm good, it's already my time tâ", her alarm interrupted.
"Already time to wake up......", She completed her sentence.
"I'll make coffee, you can wait in the room, Y/n is sleeping inside.....", She spoke, I nodded and walked towards the room.
She was asleep as I guessed so did mom.
I walked ahead to look at her closely.
I quietly settled over the bed. She was lying over her stomach and her hair was covering her face. I delicately removed the hair strands aside to reveal her face.
Her brows came together to cause a frown but it instantly wiped up.
I caressed her exposed cheek with the pad of my thumb. My lips curved into an unconscious smile.
"Bossâ", I instantly retract my hand and stood up from the bed as I heard Jade.
She looked at me awkwardly.
"Yes Jade?", I broke the silence.
"Ah actually I was leaving for the office and here's your coffee, inform Y/n to pass my apartment's keys to my next door neighbor......", She formally smiled. I nodded as a reply.
I shut the front door when she left. I regained my composure.
"I need to be used to it and be less awkward.....", I told to myself walking back to the room.
