[Your Point of View]
I felt someone was massaging my hair. I held the hand assuming it to be Jade's.
"Jade......", I mumbled without opening my eyes. She didn't reply but I continued anyway.
"Taehyung has arranged the breakfast date...... I'm nervous........I don't even know what to wear......I wish to hide within these blanket.......", I spoke in a low raspy voice.
I was lying on my stomach and my face buried into the fluffy pillow.
"Wish you would have been this candid while talking to me, as you do to Jade.......", My eyeballs popped out at the voice. I was sleepy no more.
My heart was thumping within my chest. I shut my eyes and buried my face much deeper into the pillow. He laughed, would say the best sound I've heard ever. Or maybe I'm just in love,
Is it normal to find everything attractive when you have feelings for other person? I just have read it in fictions.
"So are we spending the whole day at Jade's place?", He spoke, he wasn't laughing anymore and I already missed that sound.
"Why are you here?", My voice was muffled.
He didn't speak anything for a second but the other second the pillow was removed away from my face. My eyes finally saw the bright light of the room.
I looked up at his face. He was looking fetching, as he always did.
"Would you like to go on the breakfast date? You can wear whatever you are comfortable in, I've seen you in your most mundane look......", He spoke gently. Unusual but felt good.
He stood up from the bed, he was wearing a loose black shirt over a pair of jeans, his chest was peeking as his first two buttons were unbottoned, way too casual but perfectly suits my taste. He was looking striking.
"Apology for interrupting your scrutinizing me but may I get a reply?", He spoke drifting me off him. I furrowed concealing my embarrassment.
"Do you want to go on the date or should we leave home?", He asked sincerely.
My furrow deepened.
"Why are you here so early?", I questioned sitting back.
"Because I'm never late now leave the bed and get ready", he said and started to move outside of the room.
"Is this how to talk to your girlfriend?", I furrowed at his cold gesture.
"Do you want me to carry you to the bathroom and make you bath?", He asked, his expressions were sincere.
Why did I even agree to date him?!
"Nah, fortunately God has blessed me with two legs", I spoke with a wide smile.
"That's festive to know!", He exclaimed, returning my sarcasm.
He walked out closing the door behind.
I scrunched my nose and simultaneously groaned.
I picked up my cellphone to call up Jade.
"What should I wear for this date??!!", I spoke as soon as she picked the call.
"Let me breath my child, okay what did you say?", She asked.
"He side he's fine with whatever I'm wearing right now but I really need an outfit, for this breakfast date, can I have your clothes?!", I asked but received a little chuckle from her.
"What??", I whined. She was annoying just like this rude boss slash boyfriend but I love both of them.
"You are cute, never seen you this confused.....", She let out another laugh.
"Now may I know what clothes from your closet am I allowed to use?", I asked her respectfully.
"That closet is all yours, take whatever you like", she answered.
Now you know why I love her? She was selfless and also stupid, but my stupid.
"I love you!", I exclaimed.
"Love you more! Now go get ready we don't need boss to carry his fury on the top of his nose throughout the date although I'm sure he's soft for you", she giggled.
"Soft my ass!", I rolled my eyes to myself.
"Indeed! That must be too", She laughed.
"Heyyy Miss. Jade!", I yelled suppressing my grin.
"Imma go, see ya!", and we disconnected.
I reached to her closet after having a shower.
Jade's dressing style was one of my favourite and her closet looks exactly like what I thought it would be.
Our body frame was quite similar just she being a slight taller and hotter.
I picked out a deep grey pant and an olive crop top.
The pant was exactly of my size although it supposed to end slightly higher than my ankle and the top ends right on the hem of the pant.
I looked at myself, it was looking decent on me but I was sure this would have looked better on Jade.
I tied my hair into a high pony, due to having naturally straight hair I love high ponies on myself.

I applied the nude peach shade of lipstick and checked myself again.
I realized that my heart had started racing. I've never been on an official date.
My inner soul was judging me, I wanted Taehyung to like me but I didn't even take efforts to present myself in an exciting manner.
I shut my eyes and took a deep breath, I've never been so nervous.
I clicked a mirror selfie and sent it to Jade.
She instantly replied with fire emoji.
"Take the outfit! It's made for you!"
"Loved it! Ace the date haha"
"Love you too!"
Her texts made me calm. I got my best friend's approval what else did I need?
I opened my luggage bag which was still with me as I came directly to Jade's place last night.
I took out my wallet making sure it had my credit card.
All was done, I moved to the door and finally exit the bedroom with my luggage bag as he was dropping me to home after the date.
He was sitting on the sofa in the living room. His head resting on the head rest and eyes shut.
How he still looks breathtaking? He wasn't even trying, and why did I never notice that all these years?!
He must be tired. He came here so early so must have woken up even earlier.
"Taehyung.....", I mumbled his name as I reached him.
He slowly opened his eyes and his gaze stuck on me. Why he looked elegant doing that?!
"Oh I'm sorryâ",
"That's okay, I know you didn't get to sleep well......", I cut him off and spoke.
"No I'm perfect, let's go", he passed me a smile and walked past.
Without remarking my looks!
But why I suddenly need someone's validation!?
I slide my shoes and locked the door.
"Jade said to pass the keys to the neighbour.....", Taehyung turned and informed. I did as I asked for.
We took the elevator and he pressed the button for parking lot.
He got busy into his cellphone. I felt like we were going on some business meeting rather a date.
"Which restaurant do you prefer?", He asked drifting me off from my blank thoughts.
"Whatever you like.....", I shrugged.
Wasn't it was him who planned the date?! How do I know then!?
I wanted to yell but refrain. Didn't want ruin my already ruined day as this man didn't pass me a glance.
We exit from the elevator in the parking lot and walked ahead to his car.
He was walking ahead of me like always, this man has no etiquettes. No doubt his first girlfriend broke up with him.
I jumped a little when his car beeped.
He opened the front passenger seat's door for me, wasn't really expecting. And he kept my luggage bag on the back seat.
He walked over the driver's seat. I was ready for him to drive but for some mysterious reason he was sitting still, looking at one of the pillars in the parking lot.
"Ain't we planning to leave?", I asked turning to him, oblivious of what was running in his mind.
He turned to me as well, our eyes met but I still didn't get the hint.
Creases held by my forehead. He leaned ahead but I shut my eyes, my heart skipped a beat.
"You are looking pretty.....", He whispered, I could feel his breath over my lips. My eyes opened just to met his, which were too close to mine.
A light push of mere air around us was enough to cause me to make my lips touch his. I felt cold ran through my spine.
He bleeped, as a habit, and instantly moved back.
He started the car and we were out on the road. My cheeks were heating up, I needed a moment to recover. I shut my eyes when I knew he was driving and focused on the road.
He turned a soft music to fade away the silence. None of us spoke till the whole journey to the restaurant.
He turned to the restaurant parking and we were out of the car.
He walked to me but then his cellphone buzzed up. I noticed his frown when he was looking at the screen although he disconnected.
He slide the cellphone in his pant's pocket, this was the moment I realized he was carrying his iPad.
Why he has to carry his office everywhere!?
"Let's go......", He said softly and simultaneously held my hand into his empty hand. I looked at him but he still didn't spare a glance at me. I was dying to know was running within his brain but unfortunately the science was way to behind to come up with any device which could read minds.
We were walking side by side.
The guard opened the restaurant's door for us.
He still had his hand's grip on mine. I was loving the warmth and comfort zone his touch was providing me.
"This place has varieties of food so I thought of coming here because I didn't want to disappoint my date a.k.a. roommate......", He looked at me this time.
We reached in the private eating area.
He released my hand and I was already longing for his touch.
"Here.....", He pulled the chair for me.
Get it, his manners weren't that bad.
He sat across me.
The waiter arrived in no time.
Taehyung looked at me.
"Order for me too....... whatever you like", he added.
Okay, that wasn't something I was waiting for.
His phone buzzed up again, this time I heard a brief groan from his.
I went through the menu card and ordered the bland of the breakfasts we had on the one week trip because I knew he would definitely like it.
The waiter left after taking the order.
"Who's that?", I asked referring to the call.
"Catherine's manager", he shook his head in disbelief.
"I know this must be Catherine, I hate it here.....", He mumbled rolling his eyes.
And I hate her!
Just then his iPad notified the incoming video call.
"It's her herself, now I can't ignore her, let it be", he let it buzz, ignoring the call.
"Why did you bring it here on the first place?", I asked, low key irritated by the owner of the incoming call, miss Catherine.
"I planned to visit office after our breakfast.....", He informed.
"Attend it, what if it's something about the current deal", I didn't want to loose the deal with the Collins'. We have worked our ass off and we knew how vengeful they both were.
"I don't think.....", Taehyung refused to pick up the call.
"What else it could be?", I retort and stubbornly swiped the green button over his iPad.
"Heyyy, waitâ I could see a fancy ceiling are you out?", We heard Catherine almost immediately.
Taehyung passed me a glare. He had no way but to continue the conversation.
He set the iPad over its flip support.
"Hey Miss. Collins", he greeted.
"Come on Taehyung, start calling me Catherine!", She spoke and let out a little laugh.
"Is it something about work?", Taehyung came to the point ignoring her comment.
"Not really, I was having my breakfast alone as Kyle isn't here so I thought of ringing you up, but it seems you are out, are you with someone?", She asked.
I couldn't see her but I was already irritated by her voice. I wanted to go back in time and never swiped that green button. I ruined my own date.
"That's really nice but I'm currently onâ", I kicked Taehyung's leg from under the table causing him to pause mid sentence. He looked at me confused.
I mouthed a big ass 'NO'. I wanted our moms to know about our relationship rather than a random business partner.
"Is everything okay?", Catherine's voice made him look back on the screen.
"Yep, so what are you having for the breakfast?", He asked.
"Just some boiled and steamed diet food", she replied ending it with a chuckle which had started to annoy me.
"You didn't answer my question, are you with someone?", She repeated.
"Nah just having the breakfast alone......", He passed me a quick blank look.
I was sure he was mad at me, so was I, mad at myself.
Fuck you Y/n!
The breakfast arrived.
"You're looking handsome, well, when you don't", she was flirting with my boyfriend in front of my naked eyes!
I dug my head into my food plate. I could no more met my eyes with him after ruining our date which he planned himself.
It was mostly Catherine speaking while Taehyung was passing her short replies.
Half an hour passed but this woman didn't pause for a damn minute.
"Ah wait- I forgot that I have a meeting within an hour. It's great to have the breakfast with you......hope to see you soon. And yeah, Kyle is reaching there tomorrow. He might stay at your place as I suggested him......he was missing mom and dad so I propose him that he could live at your place, he could spend time with your mom instead......well, see you, bye", and she disconnected.
I was sitting at pause.
No way that brat was staying at his place, I can't bear seeing him roaming right in front of my eyes.
Taehyung passed me a look, we have finished our food.
"Let's go~", he said collecting his cellphone and car's key from the table to slide them into his pocket.
The waiter arrived with the bill and the card swiping machine.
Taehyung started to take out his wallet but I interrupted.
"I'm paying", I said extending my hand to swipe my card but he snatched my card and slide it in his pocket just to swipe his own card.
"Thank you~", the waiter said to him but he left the private area before me and without returning the gesture to the waiter.
He was mad and it shows.
I passed the waiter a reluctant smile.
"Ma'am your device.....", He said pointing to the table where Taehyung left his iPad.
"Yep, thank you~", I said taking the iPad and left outside.
I couldn't find him around, he must have gone to the parking area.
I internally groaned while walking down the parking area.
I spotted him right away. He had his back leaning on his car while his one hand was holding his cellphone and other hidden inside his pocket.
I walked ahead. He looked up when I was few steps away from him.
I started to speak but he opened the door and sat inside.
I released a deep breath and went on the other side of the car to sit in.
He started driving.
It was just the music fading away the silence but the chaos inside me was much louder but inaudible.
He put the car on halt when we reached at his home also the house where I live as a paying guest.
He extended his hand and I knew he was asking for his iPad. I handed him and left out of the car.
I opened the back door to take out my luggage.
Soon he drove off.
I finally released a loud groan. The excitement I had for this date before we left was nothing in front of the disappointment I was feeling now.
I rolled my bag and rang up the door bell.
The servant opened.
"Ah my darling is finally here!", Taehyung's mom arrived and kept a swift kiss on my cheeks.
My lips curved into a smile.
"I thought my son threatened you to not come back", she laughed. Another set of laugh I missed.
She was my partner in crime.
"Ugh! I missed you!", I hugged her.
"Going to brag to my best friend that her daughter loves me more than her", she chuckled.
"Of course!", I exclaimed accompanying a giggle.
