Chapter 23 of 64

Jack and Jill

Life experiences118 words~1 min read

Dark rooms and lonely nights

Typing on keyboards

Jill lays 'lone

Hugging pillows tight

Carrying the bucket solo

Hill nowhere in sight

He dreams of a woman

Rose bud lips and sapphire eyes

Voice sweet as honey dripping from the hive

Swiping through pictures, hoping to find

His dream of a woman

With sapphire eyes

Glancing in the window

Catching her reflection

Her long flowing hair

And sapphire eyes

a classroom filled with windows

Nowhere to hide

A lonely girl

Holding a book so tight

He wanders what's on her mind

A few seats down the aisle

Two worlds

Each divided

Feeling eyes watching

Her shoulder the hill

Glancing over

Meeting contact

With Jack on the other side
