Chapter 47 Get Out
The assistant Rodney on the side listened with tears streaming down his face.
Edmond, hold on!
How could you easily believe Rosalieâs provocation?
The conversation between the two made Rodney both angry and
anxious.
He glanced outside the car and realized it had been almost an hour. He wondered why Claudia hadnât
returned yet after buying something.
He gripped the steering wheel, his eyes constantly glancing in the rearview mirror.
In fact, Edmond could never understand Rosalieâs attitude.
He liked Rosalie, but there was a slight lack of feeling. If he didnât like Rosalie, then why did he agree to
marry her?
Edmond, if you were threatened by Rosalie, just blink your eyes.
He always felt that there was a secret between Edmond and Rosalie. As an assistant, his abilities were
limited, but that didnât mean he was willing to let Rosalie become his boss.
Seeing that the car was not moving, Rosalie urged softly, âRodney, go to âTide ONEâ formal dress
store.â
Rodney saw that his boss didnât say anything, so he eventually stepped on the gas pedal and
navigated to the most famous formal dress and

wedding gown store in town.
But he deliberately or inadvertently slowed down the pace.
What if Edmond had a change of heart halfway through?

Claudia got out of the taxi with big and small bags in her hands. She walked a few steps and from a
distance, she saw several cars parked in front of her own gate, with other people standing beside them.
Claudia paused her steps, just as she was about to walk past, Derrick, who was standing next to the
car, spotted her at once.
After being âeducatedâ by Ervin, he was arranged to bring Claudia home from here.
âI remember tonight is a family banquet, why do we have to invite an outsider?â Derrick frowned as he
looked at Ervin, who made the
request.
Ervin looked meaningfully and said, âI thoroughly investigated Bella, and her background seems a bit
suspicious. She might not be Seraphina.â
âWhat does this have to do with Claudia?â
âClaudia might have been Seraphina.â
Derrick: â
à¼à¼
Thinking about Ervinâs speculation, he was both annoyed and helpless.
In his heart, he didnât want Claudia to be Seraphina at all. How could such a malicious woman be
Seraphina?
Ervin had made up his mind and didnât want to make Ervin unhappy, so he eventually came over to
pick her up.
Claudia saw Derrick and instinctively furrowed her brows.
Seeing her like this, Derrick frowned disapprovingly and said, âWhat, not happy to see me?â
Claudia looked at the few bodyguards behind him and asked cautiously, âWhat do you want to do?â
Derrick looked at the few people behind him and furrowed his brow in confusion. Why do they look like
bad guys?
He remembered that when facing Waldron, she always had a smile on her face, as if she was wearing
colored glasses when looking at him.
Was he really that unbearable?
He sneered and reluctantly opened the car door, saying, âGet in, weâre having a family banquet at our
house tonight. Ervin asked me to invite you.â
Family Feastâ¦
Thinking about the potential relationship between herself and the Friedan family, Claudia unconsciously
furrowed her brows.
âWhat is there to hesitate about?â Derrick urged impatiently.
âThank you, I didnât go,â she glanced at Derrick and took out the key to unlock.
She is not a member of the Friedan family anymore, why would she go to attend the Friedan familyâs
family banquet?
âDonât want to go?â Derrick glared, âLet me tell you, you have to go
todayâ¦â
Claudia picked up something and walked toward the courtyard gate. The door slammed shut with a
loud âbangâ, interrupting his words.
Derrick was firmly shut out.
âThis person is the real ghost, not Seraphina!â Derrickâs anger surged to his head, and he clenched his
fist, intending to smash the door. However, he smirked cun ningly, remembering Ervinâs instructions.
Ervin only said to Claudia to attend the family banquet, but she didnât go. So, forcibly taking her away
would also count as completing the mission, right?
Luckily, he was clever today and brought a few bodyguards with him.
âYouâ¦â he pointed at a few people, his eyes narrowed into slits, and ordered coldly, âClimb over the
wall.â
Sure enough, these people were well-trained. Within a minute, the gate of the courtyard opened.
Claudia saw everything clearly inside the house.
She knew early on that she couldnât stop Derrick. He wouldnât bring so many people over if it was just
to watch a show.
Derrick led a group of people and walked briskly toward the house. When he reached the door, he
instructed the people behind him, âCome two of you.â
After all, it was trespa ssing into a famous mansion, and bringing too many people along, he was afraid
of scaring her to tears.
Derrick and two bodyguards had just entered when a foot flew h orizontally and solidly kicked one of
the bodyguards in the face.
The accident happened in an instant,
Derrick hadnât even realized it yet, but Claudia had already withdrawn her leg and was now holding a
frying pan, smashing it toward the remaining bodyguards.
âWait, wait, wait! Itâs all a misunderstanding!â Derrick quickly interjected.
Watching the bodyguard being kicked and writhing in pain on the ground, his heart grew colder and
colder.
Claudia looked frail, how could she have such skills.
Claudia put down the frying pan, her eyes chillingly cold: âIf you donât want to get beaten up, then get
out.â
Two bodyguards glanced at Derrick, who furrowed his brows and nodded at them, âYou guys go out
first.â
This Claudia was even more terrifying than he had imagined.
In the face of Derrickâs serious expression, Claudiaâs clear eyes were filled with frost: âDerrick, this is
my home, you are tres pas sing on private property.â
Derrick squinted his eyes. If being tough didnât work, he had no choice but to show weakness.
âSorry, I just offended you,â he sighed. âI was only desperate for you not to leave. It was my brotherâs
arrangement, and I was afraid of getting beaten up if I didnât handle things well.â
Did the gentle Ervin used to beat people up?
Claudia sneered, âI said I wouldnât go, you explain it to him and he will understand.â
âNo, he couldnât understand,â Derrick also felt helpless. âHe said if you donât go back today, then I donât
have to go back either. I admit that my behavior just now was very excessive. So, as long as you go
with me today, you can make me do anything. I apologize for my previous excessive behavior toward
you.â
Claudia laughed and said, âWas your previous inappropriate behavior referring to the incident on the
surveillance or when you refused me to visit Waldron at the hospital?â
Derrick hesitated, âLetâs just call it even.â
It was rare to see him back down.
âLetâs go.â
âDid you agree?â Derrickâs eyes lit up.
âUm.â
She realized that if she didnât leave with him today, he would probably stay at her house and refuse to
leave.
Since it was Ervinâs request, she had to give Ervin face.
Furthermore, after Pedro told her about the paternity test, she couldnât stop thinking about it and
wanted to go see the Friedan family again, as well as the men tally unstable socialite.
Thinking back to the last time Emily hugged herself and called herself âSeraphina,â my nose
immediately became sore.
Seeing Claudia agree, Derrickâs lips curled up slightly.
Girls are still quite easy to coax.
A few people got in the car and after the car had traveled a few
kilometers, Derrick suddenly remembered, âOh no, did you forget to bring your formal attire?â
Claudia glanced at her casual coat and pants, and paused for a
moment. She had forgotten that families like the Friedan family, even when attending family banquets,
were expected to wear formal attire.
âLater, when you arrive, put on a set of Elva that you havenât worn before.â
âNo need.â Even if itâs brand new, Elva would feel uncomfortable wearing her clothes men tally. âI can
buy it now, thereâs a store ahead called âTrend ONEâ.â
She remembered that this store had both formal dresses and wedding
gowns.
The wedding dress she wore when she married Edmond before was ordered from this store.
