"I should have known." Dean said coming closer. Chris didn't look up from her hands. "I knew there was something off about you when we found you."

"Off how?"Chris said looking up with a smirk on her face as Dean slowly came closer the rifle pointed right at her chest.

"We get a good haul of wolf pups and in less than 24 hours a girl who is claiming that she is lost appears."

"Well I'm sure PETA will be pleased with my assistance in releasing the pups before they became a coat." Chris pushed herself up from the crate and faced Dean directly.

"You know we weren't selling them for pelts, in Canada there is some rich fanatic that loves wolves and pays top dollar for them. They say he has his own pack." Chris continued to stare at him, not showing any emotion, the information was news to her, she would have to look into it later. "But this isn't the first time you have come to the rescue is it?"

Chris folded her arms across her chest, "I don't know what you mean."

Dean chuckled and lowered the gun a few inches, "About 4 years ago. A friend of mine was poaching in Northern Washington. He came across a wolf pup that seemed to be lost. He picked it up and figured he could get a good figure on the black market, but low and behold before he left the mountain with his haul, a girl appeared claiming to be lost. He tried to help her out and show her the way back, but next thing he knows he is hogtied and being hauled down the mountain, he said something about the girl changing into a white wolf. After a while, he was put into the loony bin. Said the wolves were everywhere."

"Hmmm, so if you were this skeptical why did you let me come with you?"

"Because, I figure a girl who can break open a solid wood crate with her bare hands would get a better price than 4 pups." Chris smirk left her face, she could feel her wolf growling in her chest with indignation, 'did he honestly think he would be able to take us' her wolf thought. "It seems you weren't expecting that." He smiled and pulled the rifle back up and took aim.

BANG! Chris moved quickly behind the crate. BANG! Another gunshot and wood sprayed over Chris's head. She ran in a crouched position around the crates as Dean took chase. She ran to the other side of the crates going over a pro and con list of phasing in front of him. She shoved the crate over and it narrowly missed Dean as he yelled curse words at her. She ran towards the camp when she heard the gun cock again and stopped.

"Don't move!" Dean said, the rifle was sticking out behind the crate that she toppled. Slowly it raised up and Dean came out walking closer to her, fishing around in his back pocket. He pulled a flash of silver out and tossed it at Chris, "Put this on."

They were silver handcuffs. Chris had to stop herself from rolling her eyes. "Really? I didn't think we were into kinky stuff yet. I mean we barely know each other."

"Put them on, or I will blow your head off."

Chris couldn't help herself. She rolled her eyes, and slowly put the cuffs on and snapped them into place. Immediately her hands felt heavier. Dean came closer, watching her closely. Chris pulled experimentally at the cuffs, "Hmmm... some sort of-"

"Silver. Pure silver to be exact. I have my own ideas about what you are, but I will ere on the side of caution." Chris cocked her head examining the silver cuffs. These cuffs were definitely not pure silver, she would have known if they were when she touched them, but they were some sort of silver alloy, whose effects were minimal. Silver wasn't as dangerous to werewolves in their human form. It appeared mostly as an allergic rash if it made contact with skin. If ingested or inhaled it could be deadly, just like with humans. This metal didn't even irritate her skin, he must have paid a lot for these cuffs though, they were pretty heavy duty.

"Go!" He said motioning with his weapon up the mountain.

Chris put her arms down and turned around, acting like a good captive, trudging slowly up the mountain.

"Do you want to tell me what you are?" Dean said his rifle poking her in the back as she walked.

"A PETA activist."

"Don't be a smart ass."

"You do realize that this is now considered kidnapping and human trafficking, along with poaching."

"It is not human trafficking if you're not human."

Chris snorted back laughter, "Whatever, dude."

They walked in silence. Chris hunching over in the cold as the sky got lighter. Finally they made it to the edge of the camp clearing. Chris stepped and trigger the bell alarms, which created a series of panicked yelps, guns cocking, and dog barking.

"Stop right there." Dean said, as they waited patiently for the other 3 men to come running out of their tents half dressed.

"What the?" Sam said, looking very confused as he stopped in front of her.

"Dean what is going on?" Stan said, taking in the scene with a scowl.

"We need to pack up everything quickly. We are heading to Canada."

"Uh, I thought we were bringing the... uh haul to Canada?" Perry said getting his coat zipper caught as he tried to pull it up.

"We have something better than the haul." Dean said pushing the rifle deeper and forcing Chris forward. Chris stumbled trying to look pathetic.

"Dean? What happened." Sam said following as Dean forced Chris to sit on a log next to the cold fire pit.

"Well, I went to check on the haul when I heard a howl. Next thing I know all the pups are gone and Christine was there all alone."

"She-but?" Perry stumbled confusion written all over his face.

Then without warning, Stan pushed between Sam and Perry, pulling back his hand and with a loud growl, he slapped Chris right out of her seat.

Chris fell pathetically to the ground feeling the world spin, she heard loud voices and arguing going on behind her but she couldn't put the voices together because of the ringing in her ears.

'Ow!' Her wolf thought with sarcasm and irritation.

'Sorry' Chris thought back, 'wasn't part of the plan'.

'Doesn't matter,' her wolf thought, 'as long as we repay him in kind.' Chris started to grin and then gasped from the pain in her face.

Her ears stopped ringing in time for her to hear Dean yell, "Follow my orders and we will get ten times the amount we would have for those pups!" Then she was roughly pulled up to a sitting position. Chris looked up to find the rifle barrel in her face, and Dean looking deranged, "Don't move."

Chris sat there silently, feeling the side of her face go numb and her eye start to swell. Watching them break down the camp at a record speed. Even in her state of severely pissed off, she was impressed.

'Jeez, Stan could pack a punch.' Chris thought pulling her handcuffed hands up to feel the side of her face.

'Just be glad you are not human.' her wolf scoffed, 'Probably would have knocked you out if you were.'

The dog was running around spastically while they were loading up, intermittently taking turns between following the men and growling at Chris. Dean stayed in front of her, rifle at the ready. He chuckled softly to himself as Barney growled at her again before bounding off after Sam. "I guess it makes sense now why Barney doesn't like you."

"Whatever mountain man." Chris was starting to get a headache, which was not helping her mood.

They packed up the camp in record time. In 20 minutes everything was loaded and tied down onto the trailers connected to the snow mobiles.

"We're ready Dean." Said Perry looking sadly at Chris sitting in the snow.

"Good, Stan come over here and switch her handcuffs to the back." He tossed the keys to Stan who caught them and approached Chris while Dean backed up lowering the rifle.

Stan had a wicked smirk on his face while he grabbed Chris's cuffed hands and pulled her up. "Don't try anything funny." He said pulling her hands forward and fumbling with the key. Eventually, he got one hand uncuffed and pulled her around roughly, grabbing at her waist. She was turned away from the others as his hand crept up and grazed the bottom of her breast as he pulled her hands together behind her back. Then his lips moved to her neck and whispered, "I'm sure the trip up to Canada is going to be very, very fun."

'Gross' said her wolf.

'Yep' Chris said back, tensing as he began to pull away.

In two seconds many things happened simultaneously. Chris turned around and kicked Stan in his happy Stan spot, and then did a full frontal kick to his chest sending Stan into Dean who fired the gun as they toppled over. Chris sat down and pulled her arms under her and around the bottom of her feet so her cuffs were to the front again. The silver alloy inside the cuffs made it too hard to pull apart, she tried while they were walking up to camp.

Dean was still trying to get up when he said, "What are you doing? Sam! Perry! Get her!".

Sam, looking unsure, charged. Chris crouched and flipped him over her head.

Dean was on his feet running at her, going for a punch to her face. Chris dodged it easily and kicked out his leg. Dean got up again limping as he circled her, "you little bitch!" he seethed.

"Truer words have never been spoken." Chris smirked at him and attacked.
