"Ok guys, let's back up and give them room to breathe." An all too familiar voice said causing shivers to travel up my spine.

I slowly turned from the group to get back to my house when I felt someone grab my shoulder roughly.

"Why are you trying to leave, punk? Meet the new guests that will be staying with us." A particularly large guy commanded as he squeezed my shoulder tighter. I winced in pain, watching him smirk, before I shrugged his hand off of me.

"What? Cat got your tongue?" He asked me snarling as he laughed at his horrible attempt at a joke. You see, I couldn't talk. Someone used their magic on me, illegally, around 10 years ago and I haven't been able to speak since. My vocal chords just didn't work and everyone knew that. He was just trying to rub it in my face.

I took a deep breath and felt my eyelid twitch as my hands started to tremble slightly. I wasn't scared, I was mad, and I was trying really hard not to snap at him.

As if feeling my demeanor change, he stepped away from me, but he stayed close behind incase I tried to wonder off again. He did this for his safety, he knew what I could do and everyone stayed clear of me because of it.

I focused my attention back to the crowd that had already quieted down. I then studied the new guys carefully, taking in all of the information I could as they talked with the others around me.

One of the males was really tall. He was incredibly muscular and had tanned skin. His eyes were a deep blue color, practically sucking me into his beautiful gaze. He had long blonde hair that was tied up in a bun that had quite a bit of hair that started from it. It looked messy but it was pretty, I couldn't pull that off even if I tried. He also had a beautiful and bud snake tattoo that looked like it slithered up his arm. The artwork on it was just stunning. He seemed to be a quiet person too, only piping into the conversation the other was having occasionally. He seemed more aware of his surroundings too, keeping a close eye on everyone. His eyes eventually caught mine, not letting my gaze slip from his.

He looked thoughtful for a minute before nodding his head slightly in greeting. I nodded back hesitantly, not sure if I should or not. He seemed to smile at my gesture and started scanning the crowd again. I raked my eyes over his body once more before studying the other guy.

He was tall too, not as tall though, him and I standing at around the same height. He had stunning emerald eyes and a really nice body. His hair was short and brown, contrasting with his eyes nicely. These guys looked like they had just hopped out of a modeling magazine, where did they even come from?

The brunette had a foreign accent, it sounded like he was Australian, and he was very chatty. He held all of the conversations started with him and kept a huge smile on his cute face.

As the people settled down, a lot of them leaving as they had had their fill, I tried to walk away again, only to be held in place by an angelic voice.

"An-and who migh-might you b-be?" Someone said behind me. His voice was deep and gravely, and he had an accent that I figured out was Russian. He also had a slight stutter which seemed to frustrate him as he sighed heavily after speaking. I turned around and was face to face with the blonde man. He didn't seem to know what personal space was as he was directly in front of me, I could practically feel his breaths tickling my skin.

I put a finger up, signaling to wait, as I pulled out a piece of paper from my pocket and a pen. I always kept it on me when I was out as this was the only way I could communicate.

'I'm Damien. Who are you?' I wrote. He read it then looked at me to the paper and back again, eyebrows squeezing together in confusion before he shrugged then answered.

"I'm Niko-Nikolai!" He said. "Pleas-pleasure to mee-meet you!" He finished as he held his hand out. I shook it fondly before pulling back and writing again.

'Where are you guys from?' I asked him.

"Oh! We-we're from a fe-few towns ov-over." He huffed. I nodded and looked behind him to see the brunette with a few people. He seemed to notice his friend's disappearance though, and came walking over to us.
