Qiu Chen was back to the system space. He thought that he wouldn't be sad this time because he knew that his man would be witing for him in the next world. But his mood was still down after leaving. He might be able to see his husband again, but the pearl of his eyes, he would not meet him again. The boy, who turned into a vigorous man and a capable ruler by the time he left, would go on his own journey. He knew this answer. He wanted to persuade the system to make them meet in future worlds. Unlike the previous time, Qiu Chen chose skills to train carefully this time. He wanted to cook for his husband. Though he was a decent cook, he wanted his husband to taste his finest craftsmanship. So he chose cooking. As for the second skill, Zhao Yichen was a General. Qiu Chen was affected by him. So, when he saw the words 'military strategy', he could not help but being nostalgic. After choosing the skills emense training began. After years of tireless traing, Qiu Chen was done. It was time to go to next world. Before starting their journey, Qiu Chen decided to talk to System.
"System, from now on can you tell me the plot and the situation I am going into in advance?" Qiu Chen asked.
System did not reply immediately. After a long pause it said, "Well, it's feasible."
"Then pass on the plot," Qiu Chen ordered.
"Introducing the third mission, 'Make Them Bow'," System announced.
The name of the original owner, who is going to be replaced by Qiu Chen, is Wen Quan. He was the young master of Wen corporate. Being the only son, he was overly spoiled. His father also did not want to put pressure on a boy who just turned eighteen. Apart from his parents, the closest people to the original owner were Wen Han, the 'adopted' son of Father Wen, and Jian Lin, the fiancé and childhood sweetheart of the original.
Wen Han was said to be the 'adopted' son, but in actuality he was an illegitimate child of Wen Quan's uncle. The Wen family was an aristrocratic family that developed to business from a literary background. Having extra marital affair or illegitimate children was strongly prohibited in the family. Wen Han's mother was Uncle Wen's secretary when he was newly admitted as the General Manager. She took advantage of his drunken stage and slept with him. This resulted her in getting pregnant. She wanted to use the child in her stomach to marry into the Wen family. She did not contact Uncle Wen personally but came to the Wen hous directly in fear that if Uncle Wen knew, he might make her get an abortion. When Grandpa Wen heard about it, he drove the woman away directly. But it did not stop here. He took away the right of inheritance from Uncle Wen. Father Wen was established as the new General Manager.
This turn of events did not stain the relationship between the brothers. Uncle Wen was an extremely talented individual. He started his own company. After Wen Han was born, he tried to contact the mother and son, but somehow did not find them. It took him three years to get any news of them. After Wen Han was born, his mother threw him in an orphanage, married a foreigner and left. Uncle Wen was free from the Wen Family, and he decided to take the child back. He rushed to fly over to the city where the orphanage was. But the plane crashed midair. Father Wen knew how much his older brother valued this child. So out of his respect for his late elder brother, he adopted Wen Han to the family.
After a few years Grandpa Wen passed away. Wen Han was also informed about his life experience. Wen Han seemed a lovely child, but his heart was not. In his heart, he was the true eldest son of the Wen family. So, everything Wen Quan got, was actually his. He was jealous of Wen Quan, he tried to snatch everything from him, incuding his fiancé. He pretended to be a good elder brother in front of him, but presented him as a big bully in front of his friends. The original owner never knew why people did not like to play with him. He also had an arrogant temper. If they misunderstood him, he never bothered to explain. In this process even his fiancé chose Wen Han over him. But due to having father Wen and Wen Corp behind him, Jian Lin never broke up with him although he started seeing Wen Han behind his back.
But the fate blessed them. At this time apocalypse began. The whole Wen family died in the hand of zombies. Father Wen died protecting Wen Han. The whole house was empty except for Wen Quan and Wen Han. After the apocalypse began, some people had high fever, after the fever passed they either got super power, or turned into eternal waste. Jian Lin awakened fire power, while Wen Han awakened healing. They found other people who also awakened other types of powers. They all made the Wen house their base. At this time Jian Lin broke up with the original owner on the basis of he was not "good enough", and gaslighted him in believing that this was all his own fault.
Wen Quan was raised inside the palm of his parents' hands. He knew nothing about crude jobs. Under the constant mocking of Jian Lin and his companions he started doing many jobs he never thought of doing. His hands got scalded, he was bruised. But he never complained. He bore it all in silence and feigned arrogance when he could not. Wen Han, on the other hand, did little job, but did it in an away people 'accidentallly' saw him 'doing it all alone'. They dissed the original even more.
The cooking was usuallly done by Wen Han. Every once in a while he would cook food that the original was allergic to. Original owner knew that it was tough time. He silently avoided the foods he was allergic to. But in the eyes of those prejudiced people, he was acting spoiled. They dissed him even more. All these people collectively chose to forget that all they were gnawing actually belonged to Wen Quan. Of course, in their eyes Wen Han was the true Young Master of the Wens. And Wen Han was so big hearted that he gave them all. He was an angel in their hearts.
The original's nightmare began when Wen Han decided to cook something special for Jian Lin. He put seafood seasoning in the food. Because Wen Quan did not want to appear shallow in front of Jian Lin, he ate it even knowing that he was extremely allergic to seafood. As a result, he got a high fever. This fever resulted him into having an ability, which was storage space. He thought that now he was not a waste, Jian Lin must not push him away anymore, and people here will start liking him. Little did he know that it was all his maladtive daydreaming. They treated him a little better in front of him but cursed him behind his back.
They used him as a free storage room. But the fool was happy with just a little better treatment from them. His daydream broke one day. They were under a zombie attack while looting an armhouse. The zombies were above level four, which was extremely powerful. They were all fighting. A level five zombie attacked Wen Han. Jian Lin pushed Wen Quan, who was with him to the zombie and took the 'distressed' Wen Han into his arms.
When Wen Quan was getting devoured by the zombie he saw his good brother's scornful smirk from his beloved's arms and his beloved's face showed no regret or pain for him. His delusion broke, he understood everything. His obsession was born at the moment of his death, he had to be powerful, so powerful that all those people had to bow down to him. He did not want their respect or love like he once wanted. He wanted to see fear in their eyes, he wanted to see them in panic whenever they looked at him.
Qiu Chen finished reading the plot. He felt pity for this eighteen-year-old boy. He knew nothing of the world. His closest people betrayed him. He was not like Song Ruzhen, who never knew what love was. He knew what it is, then he faced betrayal. You want to see them in fear? Okay, they will be in fear, not of your sight, but of your name.
"What situation am I going to transport into?" Qiu Chen asked the system.
"It's after the original owner had fever. You will exchange souls while he's unconscious," System answered.
"Well, why wait anymore?" Qiu Chen said.
"Let the journey begin," System announced.
