It was shortly after Junior's birthday and Elder Lewis had me and Junior into his office. He presented us with two small black boxes. He handed one to me and the other to Junior.
I raised an eyebrow. "What's this for?"
"They're necklaces to help you control your powers," Elder Lewis said.
"Control my powers? Why?" I asked.
"Because I noticed it during the trial," Elder Lewis answered. "When you don't have control over your emotions your powers go haywire. Much like how Agent 36's Demon Power goes out of control when she gets upset. But instead of causing earthquakes like Agent 36 can, Aura Power can cause floods and can freeze things which can be just as destructive. I have Aura Power and one time I caused a flood in the boys bathroom at Boot Camp and almost drowned the guys who were picking on me at the time."
He chuckled. "The bullies got in trouble and I was gifted with a control necklace to help me control my powers. I came from the Crow Birds congregation but got sent to the Purple Flowers congregation for my position as an Elder."
Junior and I opened our boxes to reveal necklaces that had the symbol of the congregation we're from: The Reds. The Reds congregation symbol is basically a red flag.
Every congregation has their own symbol. A-Circle has the capital letter A in the middle of a circle as their symbol. Crow Birds have a crow sitting on a tree branch as their symbol. Purple Flowers has an open purple Daisy flower with a yellow center as their symbol. Of course I already stated what the Reds symbol is and then the congregation Army has a shield for their symbol.
"It's funny because I only see high ranking Agents get these necklaces. Mostly because they're the ones that tend to be a little bit reckless because they have more power than others," Elder Lewis said. "Although I have yet to see you be reckless, it's just that Aura Power is just as destructive as Demon Power and Stunning Power."
"I see," I said as I put the necklace on.
"Cool! I get to wear a necklace just like Aunt Eve and Zoey do," Junior said with a smile.
"Oh that's right, Zoey could turn into a Lioness by the time she was a year old. She had trouble controlling that ability and then she developed Stunning Power," I said. "She cried so loud that it shattered the windows in my Dad's office."
"Yeah I know. I was the one who issued a necklace for Zoey," Elder Lewis said. "Oh before I forget, Junior already has his job assignment that he'll be trained for from here on out."
Junior looked confused. "A job? I didn't know four year olds could get a job."
"You don't have the job yet. That won't happen until you turn eighteen," Elder Lewis explained. "In the Organization careers are chosen for kids the moment they turn four years old. Sometimes depending on what type of abilities a child develops a career path gets chosen for a child at the age of three. Even Zoey has a career path chosen for her."
"Wait a minute, I thought there was a protective order on that for Zoey until she turns sixteen because her father's an outsider?" I said.
"Protective orders last until the child reaches kindergarten age which is the age of five or seven depending on the career path. Agent 36 was chosen to be an Enforcer at the age of three but because of her power the Council didn't want her to be overwhelmed by her power. So a protective order was put in place until the age of seven for her. Even if her father hadn't run away from his post, she still would've been taken from the home for training," Elder Lewis said.
He shrugged. "But I doubt things will be as bad as Agent 36's situation was. That's because Zoey's going to train to be an Agent, just like Junior will."
"So I'll be doing what Daddy does when I get older?" Junior asked.
Elder Lewis nodded. "Yup."
"Cool!" Junior cheered.
"You're still going over the basics of fighting in daycare right now but the moment you turn five will be the moment you start doing the hard work, got it?" Elder Lewis said.
"Yes sir!" Junior said.
"Alright, you two are dismissed!" Elder Lewis said.
As we left the room I made a note to talk to Eve about the protective order for Zoey.

"So Elder Lewis told you about what the protective order means huh?" Eve asked.
We were sitting in her son's nursery talking about the conversation I just had with Elder Lewis the other day.
"Yep. I thought the protective order meant that she wasn't going to do any training until she turned sixteen?" I said.
Eve shook her head. "Nope. It's just as Elder Lewis said. The longest protective order would last for that would be until the age of seven. Since Zoey's just going to be trained as a regular Agent, the Council decided to lift the protective order so that Zoey could train with the other kids training for that type of job. Levi's not too happy about it. But hey, at least she's not being trained to be an Enforcer."
"What's so bad about being an Enforcer again?" I asked.
"You're always killing someone on every mission. At least when you're a regular Agent you get breaks in between stuff like that. When you're a killing machine like I was you become so desensitized towards death that your emotions can become rather numb. Almost like you're not human anymore," Eve answered. "But I have no doubt in my mind that Zoey and Junior will be high ranking Agents when they graduate Boot Camp. It's a good thing John didn't develop any special abilities when he was born. He'll probably do what Zoey did and start developing them by the time he turns one years old."

Right Eve said his name John started crying. Eve smiled and went over to his crib. "Alright little one. Let's see here, looks like you need a diaper change and a bottle."
Eve took care of John and held him in her arms as she sat down next to his crib and fed him his bottle.
"I seriously can't get over how much John looks like Levi!" I said.
Eve chuckled. "You and everyone else says the same thing. I think this might be a running theme for our children. The girls will look like me and the boys will look like Levi."
"But they all have the signature birthmark on the right ear," I heard Levi say. I turned around to see him smiling.
John looked over at Levi and reached out to him. Eve handed him over and Levi held John in his arms.
"Remember the first time Zoey turned into a cat?" Levi asked.
"How can I forget?" Eve laughed. "She did that when she turned one month old! She could walk on four legs a lot faster than she could walk on two. I remember walking into her room when I heard little meows wondering if we somehow adopted a new pet. Imagine my surprise when I went up to her crib thinking that I would find my baby daughter but I found a small Lioness cub instead."
"Mommy! Can I hold John?" Zoey said.
I turned around to see Zoey who was looking up at John as he stared at her while Levi held him in his arms. John reached out to Zoey and Levi looked at Eve. "What do you think? Should we let her hold her baby brother?"
Eve shrugged. "I think she'll be fine."
"Yeah I will! And I won't drop him like Tommy does to his little brother sometimes," Zoey said.
"He what!" Eve gasped.
"Yup, but I think he's just jealous of his sibling because his parents spend more time with him," Zoey said.
Levi nodded. "Makes sense to me. You're not jealous of your little brother are you, Zoey?"
Zoey shook her head. "Nope. As a matter of fact I can't wait until he turns into a Lion!"
"Come on Zoey, sit on the chair and we'll let you hold him," Eve said.
Zoey did as she was told and when John saw Zoey he reached out to her. Levi gently placed John in Zoey's arms. John giggled and clapped his hands with glee.
"Oh my goodness! That will forever be adorable!" I gushed. Watching Levi and Eve with their happy family reminded me that I needed to get home to mine. "Well as much as I'd like to hang around and gush about how cute you guys are, I need to head back to my family. I'll talk to you guys later."
Eve and Levi nodded. I bid them farewell and went back home.

"No Junior, try again, your form's wrong," I said.
"Aw man! I thought I got it this time!" Junior whined.
I shook my head. "Nope, have you been paying attention in class? They've been teaching you the correct forms right?"
Junior nodded. "They have but class is boring! Learning the basics is boring! I wanna learn the action packed stuff like actual fighting and taking down bad guys like Daddy does!"
"You know your father had to learn the basics just like you are right now right? He had to go through three years of Boot Camp before he became qualified to be an Agent," I said.
"What! I have to wait three years!" Junior gasped.
"Actually you're only four years old and you won't get your job assignments until you turn eighteen," I said. "So you won't be able to start taking bad guys down for another fourteen years. But don't worry by the time you get to that age, you'll be an expert!"
"That is so not fair, why does it take so long to learn things?" Junior pouted.
"Honestly Junior, it's not that bad," I heard George say. "And no whining! You don't want to end up being like a certain someone in this family that we all can't stand."
"You mean the evil stepmother? No way! I'm not going to be evil like her!" Junior said.
I snorted. "Of course you're not. You'll work hard just like your father does and I have no doubts that you'll succeed at your job just like your father does."
Since we were standing in the home gym that we have I had Junior get started on learning his fighting forms so he could hit the punching bag at least. He's come close to getting one of them correct but he really needs to have a better fighting stance.
Junior's fighting stance is kind of a lazy one to me. He'll stand with his feet spread apart and his hands blocking his face. That's the type of fighting stance that a boxer might use but not a fighting stance that a future Agent should use.
A future Agent's fighting stance should be strong. They should have arms up to not only block their face but to leave enough room in order to go on the defense to block an attack. Then there's other fighting stances to use with different abilities that an Agent might develop and use on the battlefield.
Demon Power is the only type of ability that doesn't require a fighting stance in order to use. To activate that ability it's mental. Most of the time it gets activated by emotions. True, Aura Powers also can get activated by emotions but in order to use that power effectively there is a fighting stance for that. It's the same thing with Stunning Powers.
"By the way, why is Mrs. Amanda still my stepmother when she's not married to Dad anymore?" Junior asked.
"Good question, it's because she's married to me and I'm married to your father so by default she's still your stepmother," I answered.
"Well that sucks!" Junior said.
I laughed, "I feel your pain Junior and I totally understand."
"But how long do you plan on keeping her around?" Junior asked. "And when she's here can you make sure to keep her away from me?"
"I at least plan on keeping her around to get her pregnant. And then after a year of marriage I'll marry her off to someone else of my choosing but I still won't be divorced from her because if the Organization wants children from Branden then he'll have to donate his sperm to Amanda. I would explain other things to you but it's kind of complicated. And as far as your other question goes, yes I will make sure to keep her away from you as long as she's here," I answered.
"Oh, as long as she stays away from me, I'm good," Junior said. "Are we done practicing today?"
"Sure," I said.
"Okay I'll practice again tomorrow. I'm going to become a pro before I turn eighteen. Then I can start taking down bad guys as soon as I start working," Junior said.
As Junior walked away I couldn't help but laugh at his determination because it was just so cute for a four year old. Not every four year old is like that in the Organization. A lot of times, four year olds tend to complain about training and stuff when they don't pick up on things right off the bat. I have no doubts that when Junior finally learns things that he'll be a top ranking agent just like his father.
"Now that he's gone I think we should spend some time together, don't you think?" George said. Judging by the flirtatious smile he was giving me I figured out how he wanted to spend time together.
I nodded and grabbed his hand and led him upstairs to my bedroom and to the bathroom. I needed a shower anyway and I figured I could kill two birds with one stone.
As soon as I turned on the shower and looked at George smirked. "I needed to take a shower anyway, why don't you take a shower with me?"
George smiled and started taking off his clothes. "Don't have to tell me twice!"
When we both finally got in the shower I wasted no time in having sex with him. After we had sex we washed up and when we got out of the shower and dried ourselves we had sex in the bed again. I'm glad I got to spend some time with him because I know that the next day Amanda has off work is tomorrow and I'd have to spend some time with her.
I don't regret taking her on as a responsibility to make her grow up. But I have a feeling Amanda is going to do her best to make my life hell like I'm going to do the same thing with her.
