{Elder Amanda}
The family meeting where I was introduced to Junior, George's son went about as badly as I expected it to. I don't know what Triple X told Junior but he probably told the kid the truth about what I did. So Junior hates me and honestly, I expected that. But it doesn't matter because I'll be married to George, Triple X and Branden forever and I'll make sure that happens. I wanted to be with George and I got two more hot spouses as a bonus.
"So how does it feel being a thorn in people's side just like you view me?" I heard Liam say.
I looked up and rolled my eyes. "I'm not a thorn. They just haven't warmed up to me yet. Of course George's son hates me right off the bat."
"I think they all hate you," He laughed. "Oh and you should be receiving a visit from Leader Triple X or some mail person today."
There was a knock on the door and when I looked up to see Triple X standing there I smiled. "Ah, one of my hubbies is here! Liam be a dear and leave."
Liam shrugged. "Alright."
Before he left he patted Triple X on the back and said, "My condolences for you having to deal with this loser."
"I heard that!" I protested.
But instead of defending me Triple X laughed and said, "Thanks for the words of encouragement Liam."
After Liam walked off laughing Triple X took a seat on the couch as far away from my desk as possible.
I groaned. "Look I know you don't like me but I don't bite and I don't have a disease. You can take a seat across from the desk from me."
Triple X shook his head. "Nope. I'm going to set you straight here. I'm the one that's in charge of this marriage. Step a toe out of line and I will punish you as I have the right to. And I'm a Congregation Leader and two can play the game of 'I'm going to get an order from Elder's to make you do something' card. I just so happen to be able to get an audience with Queen Amore herself. You might hold some sway with the Elders of the Council, but since I'm a Congregation Leader I hold more sway with Queen Amore."
My eyes went wide. "What did you do?"
"Oh I just took some good advice from my second-in-command Liam. And based on the way you acted during our family meeting I agree with him that I need to take action to protect George from you," Triple X said. He stood up from the couch and tossed a file on my desk and went back to the couch. "I pulled the 'I'm going to Queen Amore to get an order to make you do something' card. Queen Amore added an order onto the order that the Council signed off on. And you'd better agree with it if you want to stay in this marriage."
My eyes went even wider when I read over the order. It said that I wasn't allowed to have kids by George and that in order to have kids I would have to be pregnant by Triple X by our first year wedding anniversary. If I didn't get pregnant by then Triple X could either divorce me or add on another spouse for me to get pregnant by.
I snarled after I read the order, "No way in hell are you divorcing me! I'm here to stay!"
Triple X rolled his eyes. "We'll see about that. Now you have a time limit. On the bright side, you'll at least get to live out your dream for a year."
"Oh yeah? Well I'm going to make sure that I get pregnant by you. Like I just said, I'm here to stay," I declared.
"Uh-huh and I'm going to make you eat those words," Triple X said.
When he stood up to leave I used my Wind Powers to close the door and lock it. "Don't go."
"Why?" Triple X asked.
I walked over to him and looked into his eyes. "Why don't we get started now? Office romances are a thing you know?"
Triple X groaned. "There's no romance between us and there will never be. When I have sex with you it be out of a sense of duty and nothing else. Do you understand?"
I sighed and nodded. "Yes, I understand."
"Good, now be good and unlock this door," Triple X ordered. "Because I have no problem busting this door down and causing a scene just to embarrass you. You don't want to be embarrassed at work do you?"
I gave an exasperated sigh and said, "No I don't."
I unlocked the door and let him leave.

The weekend rolled around and it was time for me to attend a family dinner along with George, Triple X, Branden and Junior over at Evelyn's house. George warned me that I can't call Evelyn, Eve unless she tells me she can. He also told me to not even bother to try that or Evelyn will tell me to go fuck myself. Finally, George warned me to be on my best behavior because it's very likely that everyone present at the family dinner knows exactly what I did and they hate me. If I become the butt of whatever joke is told about me just grin and bear it because that's what I deserve.
Based on what George warned me about I can already tell that this is going to be a very tense family dinner.
When I entered the house I couldn't help but be starstruck when I saw her. It was Evelyn Harriman otherwise known as Agent 36. The very Agent who has an ability called Demon Power. She's pretty famous around the Organization for using her Demon Power to destroy a meteorite and survive falling from outer space into the ocean. She is also famous outside the Organization because she's married to Levi Harriman who is a famous business tycoon.
Evelyn saw George and got up to hug him and then she hugged Triple X and Branden one right after the other. She paused when she got to me. "Who are you?"
"My name is Amanda," I said.
This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author's work.
Evelyn narrowed her eyes. "Oh so you're the Elder who decided to insert herself into the family. My name is Evelyn and no you may not use my nickname."
"Eve please take it easy. Do not challenge her to a fight," Levi cautioned. "You are seven months pregnant and you need to take it easy."
A girl who looked like she was no more than maybe four years old who looked like a miniature version of Evelyn walked up. "Mommy! Grandpa and Grandma said the chef said that dinner's ready." The little girl paused and looked at me. "Mommy, who's this?"
"Zoey, this is Mrs. Amanda, your Uncle George's new spouse," Evelyn answered.
"Hi there, I'm Zoey," the little girl said.
"Hi I'm Mrs. Amanda," I said. I held out my hand and Zoey shook it.
After the handshake Zoey looked at Evelyn and said, "Mommy, we need to go to the kitchen. Dinner's ready and I'm hungry."
"Sure, let's go," Evelyn said. She grabbed Zoey's hand and I followed them into the kitchen.
There were two adults already seated at the table, one of them looked like an older version of George and the other was an older woman who was sitting right next to the older man. I assumed that these two people were George's parents. When they saw me they got up from the table and one after the other they hugged me.
"You must be the new spouse George told me about!" The older woman said. "I am George's mother. You can call me Mom if you want."
The older version of George said, "And I'm George's Dad. You can call me Dad."
After the introductions George's parents sat down at the dinner table again.
My eyes went wide when I saw the huge amount of food that was being served. But again I needed to remind myself that this is a family full of Agents and Agents eat twice as much as a normal human does. I looked over to see Evelyn piling on three times the amount of food that anyone else at the table had. I guess that's to be expected for an Agent who's pregnant. It made me wonder if I would eat that much if I got pregnant.
"Would you stop daydreaming and eat your food?" George hissed.
I paused. "Huh? Daydreaming? I didn't think I was daydreaming."
George rolled his eyes. "Of course you weren't."
I started eating and I couldn't help but enjoy the food. Evelyn and Levi are rich billionaires so they have a private chef and this chef knows how to cook meat to perfection. He or she probably figured it out because of Evelyn's diet of mostly meat, some fruit and eggs but no vegetables whatsoever.
"So, Amanda, how did you meet George?" George's Mom asked.
"I-" I started.
George cut me off, "We met at a bar and had a one-night stand after I got super drunk. And no I'm not straight. That happened before I accepted the fact that I was gay."
It didn't occur to me that George's parents wouldn't know about the rule of an Agent having to take someone's virginity. The Council put that rule in play because they hope that a female Agent will get pregnant because they don't believe in the out of wedlock taboo crap. They just want more children to test on.
This rule is probably one of the weirdest rules the Council has come up with. So based on that rule it technically was a one-night stand.
"So you decided to marry Amanda because of a one-night stand?" George's Dad asked.
"It was me," Triple X said. "I'm the one who added her into the relationship."
George's Dad tilted his head. "Oh? But I thought you were straight up gay."
Triple X nodded. "Yes I am gay but I felt the need to add in a woman so that the family could complete."
George's parents looked like they weren't buying the lie and I don't blame them.
"But that's-" Junior started. Triple X gave him the side eye and Junior stopped talking when he realized Triple X felt the need to lie.
George's Dad looked at Junior. "What were you going to say?"
Junior shook his head. "Nothing, except don't get too attached. I'll make sure she leaves because she's not wanted!"
I snorted. "I'd say good luck with that kid. As I told you before, I'm here to stay."
Junior and I glared at each for a moment while George's Mom said, "Oh, yeah the new stepmother thing doesn't always work right off the bat. But Junior give it some time. You'll get used to her and maybe you'll like her?"
Junior shook his head again. "Nope. That's not happening. She's not wanted and I'll keep reminding her however many times it takes."
Zoey shook her head in dismay. "Poor Junior, you have an evil stepmother. Whatever you do, don't eat or drink anything she gives you. It could be poisoned."
"Zoey!" Evelyn scolded. "That's not nice."
"What? It's possible. I mean Snow White's evil stepmother gave her a poison apple," Zoey said.
Evelyn groaned. "Not all stepmothers are like that Zoey."
I could tell Evelyn wanted to take a dig at me to tell Zoey that yes I am an evil stepmother. But she didn't say anything. However, Junior did. "But Zoey is right! Mrs. Amanda is an evil stepmother. She found a way to force Dad to marry her by marrying Mr. Triple!"
George's Mom and Dad gave me a look as if to say 'is this true?'
Triple X spoke up. "Yeah Junior's not wrong on that point. But I did agree that Junior also needed a mother."
"But-" Junior started.
Triple X glared at Junior. "Junior, you needed a mother so that's why I added Amanda to the family and that's that."
Junior seemed to understand to stop pushing his luck because it seemed that Triple X wasn't going to back down on his lie. Junior looked over at George's Dad and said, "May I be excused? I'm not hungry anymore."
George's Dad nodded and Junior got up and left the room. After he was gone Evelyn took the uneaten food from Junior's plate and added it to hers. The rest of the dinner was eaten in silence.

{Triple X}
After Junior left the dinner table I felt bad because I pretty much punished him for telling the truth. George, Branden and I were forced to marry Amanda but there was no way I'd say that to George's parents. Their anger would not only boil but hit the roof.
As soon as we got done with dinner it was evening time and when I got Junior so we could go home he wasn't too happy with me. The car ride back home was silent and tense, especially from Junior. It's safe to say he wasn't just unhappy with me, he was pissed. I could feel his anger radiating off of him and it kind of scared me. It made me wonder if he had Aura Abilities like George does. Mostly because George gets pissed it's the same feeling.
Aura Powers are the third strongest abilities any Agent can develop. I could already tell that the conversation that was going to happen very soon wasn't going to go over well.
As soon as we got home Junior got out of the car and made a beeline for the front door.
"Junior, wait up!" I said, trying to catch up to him.
Junior stopped right before he got to his room. He turned around and looked at me. "Why did you lie like that and then make me look bad for telling the truth?"
"Listen, Junior, I know I've been saying lying is bad but sometimes lying is good," I said.
"Well if you were going to lie about how Mrs. Amanda came into the picture you could've at least let me in on it," Junior growled. "Now I look like a stupid bratty three year old getting ready to turn four next month!"
"Okay, I know I messed up but I can make it up to you," I said.
Junior grit his teeth. "You want to know how you can make it up to me Mr. Triple?"
"How?" I asked.
"You can make the unwanted family member leave and the next time you're going to lie about something at least let me know what to say so that I don't look stupid!" He spat. Without another word he ran into his room and slammed the door in my face as hard as he could.
