'Chenle, going to school is not a punishment, it's for your future.'
'What future, Kun?! What future if you're just gonna get rid of me when I become a problem just like you did with Yukhei!'
'Chenle, don't raise your voice at me.'
'I won't shut up until you let Yukhei go! And I won't go to school either!' Chenle furiously threw his backpack across the office, angering Kun even more.

'Did you forget?' Chittaphon interrupted Kun's words, addressing the younger.
'Huh?' Chenle asked, not knowing what Chittaphon meant.
'Did you forget why you're here? Shall I remind you?'
'What? New parents?'
'Yes. You three will be given in adoption to three different families. Chittaphon and I cannot take care of three kids, we are too young to be parents, we have a job and we are so busy-'
'I will help you!' Chenle said. He really didn't want to leave Kun, he'd grown way too attached to the older.
'Me too!' Yangyang said, clinging to Chittaphon.
'I can help you too!' Yukhei exclaimed.
Chittaphon and Kun looked at each other, meditating wether they should let the kids work with them or not.
'Our job is dangerous. We cannot force three kids to risk their lives and-'
'Don't worry, I'm strong and experienced in fights.' Yukhei interrupted Kun.
'I-i can fight too!' Added Yangyang.
Chittaphon gave Kun a 'let me handle this' look. He would test the kids. He would say terrifying things and if they got scared they had an excuse to give them in adoption and if they didn't they were strong enough to work with them.
'But we don't fight against normal people. We fight against vampires. Vampires are way stronger than humans, without specialised tools that are difficult to use it's impossible for a human to win against a vampire. Plus, both Kun and I and all the people we work with know that one of us might die. We are ready to accept a sudden and violent death.' Despite Chittaphon's harsh words, the three kids didn't even flinch. 'And also, we know that if we aren't careful enough we might turn into vampires. And when a human turns into a vampire, they lose their humanity. They will start thirsting for blood and killing people. That's why we're ready to kill any vampire, no matter how attached we were to them before they became monsters.'
'Chittaphon, if Kun turned into a vampire, would you kill him?'
'Yes.' Chittaphon didn't even hesitate, and much to the kids' surprise Kun didn't bat an eye either. 'As I said before, we're mentally prepared to kill any vampire.'
'I will kill vampires too!' Chenle said. 'I don't care who they are, I hate vampires! I will kill them!'
'Chenle, you are the youngest and the least experienced in fights.' Kun said.
'Yukhei will teach me, right? He's so cool and strong!'
'You kids don't know what mess you're getting yourselves into. Once you are in you can't get out. Are you still sure you want to join us?'
Despite Chittaphon's warnings the kids refused to leave, would they be capable of handling all this?
'Channie~ Put me down!' Baekhyun whined as he complained playfully.
However, the taller ignored him and didn't put him down. Baekhyun was thrown over Chanyeol's shoulder with his arms holding his thighs and he was being carried to the taller's house.
Chanyeol kicked the door open and dropped his boyfriend on the couch. His intention was for Baekhyun to land on a soft looking blanket, but instead of landing on a normal blanket, he landed on one that emitted a low groan as a response for being squashed.
Baekhyun whined, the blanked he'd landed on was not soft at all. His hands instinctively went to feel what was underneath him, and his fingers touched a... leg?
Baekhyun got off the couch and pulled the blanket away, revealing an annoyed-looking baby underneath, staring back at him.
'Sungie? I'm sorry, we didn't know you were here... Are you alright?'
Jisung mumbled an 'I'm fine' and then hid his face with his arms, curling up on the couch.
'Come on... tell me what's wrong. You know you can trust me.' The older insisted.
'He just said he's fine, baby-'
Baekhyun shushed his boyfriend and paid attention to Jisung, triggering Chanyeol's jealousy. The taller huffed and childishly went to his room.
'Sung...'
'I can't...' Jisung threw his head back in frustration, hitting it against the back of the couch. 'I can't stop thinking of him... Every single thing I see reminds me of him. Every word I hear reminds me of him. Every smell, every taste, every fucking thing!'
Baekhyun rubbed circles on Jisung's back soothingly and listened to the younger rant.
'And trust me, I've tried. And I feel so guilty, because I kept daydreaming during Jungwoo and I's date-'
'You went on a date with Jungwoo???' Baekhyun asked, holding back his laugh.
'Doyoung and Jaemin kinda forced me...' Jisung sighed before continuing. 'But the thing is, my head is filled with him! I don't know why, it's like... It's like I have an obsession with him!'
'You do!' Chanyeol yelled from his room, loud enough for the two other vampires to hear from the living room.
'Shut the fuck up!' Jisung yelled back. 'I keep dreaming of him, I see him in my dreams and my body wants to go to him, but no matter how much I walk or how fast I run, he keeps getting further away... I see him with another guy and the jealousy gets the best of me, but I just... I feel so powerless because he's making out with someone else in front of me and I can't do anything about it...'
'Sung... Dream or not, you keep thinking of him as your property, and that's not good! You know it...'
'I know! It's just... Before he knew I was a vampire he was so... He was so... I can't explain it! I just wish we could go back to when he didn't treat me like a monster...'
'Don't say that, Sungie! Being a vampire is a part of who you are. You can't give up your own identity! You need to accept yourself, everything about yourself, and if he truly loved you then he would love everything about yourself too, just like how you keep loving him despite him hurting you so much. If he stopped loving you when he found out about your identity, he didn't truly love you to start with.'
