"Dude, what's with the weird tweets?" Dylan asked Tyler as they walked across the lot. "I thought you said being nice to Olivia was the way to get her to see me differently."

Unfortunately, right after Holland and Crystal dragged them out of his trailer for their 'life or death situation' they had been called to set. Meaning both boys were starving and excited to take a nap right after they got some food.

But Tyler was ignoring his stomach to focus on his best friend.

"I thought it would be," he replied honestly, "but I think you came off a little strong."

"What? Why?"

"Because Olive freaked out," Tyler revealed. "She told me it was completely out of your character to be nice and believed you were planning a prank on her."

Dylan stopped walking and turned to face him with wide eyes. "Well, did you tell her I wasn't?"

"I tried!" Tyler defended weakly. "But it just made her think I was involved."

Dylan furrowed his eyebrows, "I don't understand. She seemed fine on set."

"Well we do act for a living," Tyler recalled his conversation with the girl.

But Dylan was speaking the truth. Olivia had been in the scene they shot right after lunch, and didn't seem bothered by anything. She was grinning and being her normal, joyful self.

He sighed, his feet slightly trudging behind him as they started to walk again. "I don't know what to do, dude," Dylan expressed his frustration. "Being mean didn't work. Being nice isn't working either. How do I get her to like me?"

"Woah, like you?" Tyler made sure he heard his friend correctly. "You like Olivia?"

"I mean, I don't dislike her," Dylan answered vaguely, lowering his voice to a grumble. "This is all your fault."

"My fault?!" Tyler dropped his jaw and scoffed. "How is it my fault?"

"Because you planted the idea in my head the day I kissed her for the first time in months," Dylan reminded, pointing his finger towards him. "I had those feelings buried."

Dylan was spewing too much information for Tyler to keep up. He felt like his head was spinning at what Dylan just told him. "Wait? Buried? As in, you liked her before and never did anything about it?"

Dylan double-checked that no one else was around before a small sigh escaped his lips, his head slowly nodding. "I had a huge crush on her towards the first half of season one," he told him quietly, his eyes cast to the ground out of embarrassment. "And I didn't say anything because she was dating her co-star, remember? The guy from her old show?"

"Chris," Tyler nodded, showing Dylan he understood. "But bro, why continue the bickering through season two? They were already broken up then."

"It just became a habit," Dylan shrugged, not really knowing himself. "And it's not like I was simply being a jerk with nothing to go on. She's been pretty mean to me too, but at least she would talk to me. Even if it was to insult me."

"But then when I started being nice, you know, opening doors and actually talking to her, I realized I'm the biggest idiot in the world," Dylan confessed to his best friend. "I saw her smile at me and I knew I was screwed. She's beautiful, Tyler. And I just want her to keep smiling at me like she did that day. But I think it's too late for me to do anything about it."

"Nope, no!" Tyler quickly disagreed, shaking his head. "Absolutely not! You are not going to throw away the opportunity for my OTP to get together."

Dylan raised his eyebrows, surprised. "Excuse me?"

"You heard what I said," Tyler retorted. "When you had a crush on her, you didn't have a chance, right? Well, now you do! There's no time like the present, my friend.  I say go after her, and be like Stiles. Burst through the door and just kiss her."

Dylan rolled his eyes, "I'm not going to burst through her door and just kiss her. She'd hit me with a frying pan or something."

"But then you'll be like Flynn and Rapunzel," Tyler reasoned. "And that couple is one of Disney's finest."

"As much as your logic makes perfect sense," Dylan's signature sarcasm seeped into his words, "I need a better plan. What if I just talk to her? Clear the air, you know?"

"When are you going to do it?"

Dylan thought about it for a moment. "Why not now? You said there's no time like the present."

"Then why in the hell are you still with me?" Tyler asked dramatically, shoving the boy away. "Go get her!"

Dylan laughed, catching himself from stumbling. "Hold on, lover boy. I have to grab a script from my trailer. I asked if she wanted to read lines, so that could be my way in."

Tyler nodded, agreeing with him before Dylan jogged away. It was only then that Tyler remembered what Olivia had been planning and widened his eyes.

"Dylan, wait!"

Flour.

Lots and lots of flour.

It covered Dylan from head to toe, a thick dust cloud arising as it rained over him and his dark clothing.

He couldn't stop coughing at first, accidentally swallowing some as it dusted his face. "What the hell is this?" he managed to ask, his face contorting to one of anger.

And then he heard laughing.

Whirling around, he immediately saw the culprit with her phone in hand, not even trying to hide.

Olivia.

He narrowed his eyes.

Marching over to her, he had to bite his bottom lip to keep himself from lashing out. He stood still with his hands curled into fists, staying silent as she wiped her eyes, grinning widely in amusement.

"Hey, Dyl!" She greeted him cheekily, now choosing to end the recording and put her phone in her back pocket. "Interesting style choice, though I heard flour was in last season."

"What the hell, Olivia?!" He still found himself shouting.

The stubborn girl crossed her arms, smirking. "Don't get mad because I finally got you first. It sucks, doesn't it? Good luck with your prank now."

"What are you talking about?!" Dylan demanded. "I wasn't planning anything!"

Olivia scoffed with a roll of her blue eyes, "Yeah, right, O'Brien. You've been acting too weird around me the last two weeks. I know you were planning something."

"No, I wasn't!" Dylan retorted with just as much fire. "Have you ever thought that maybe I was simply trying to be nice? That I was sick of the way we treat each other? That I thought we could move on and become friends?"

Olivia's face fell once she saw the hurt and frustration in his eyes, the truth hitting her a few moments too late. "Dylan," she started but he cut her off.

"No, you know what?" he asked rhetorically, throwing his hands in the air. "You don't want me to be nice? Fine. How about I just ignore you completely and make us both happy?"

Without another word, he sharply turned on his heel and stalked back over to his trailer. Throwing the door open and slamming it closed, he didn't spare her a second glance.

Olivia remained where she was, completely stunned.

She felt like an idiot. Crystal, Holland and Tyler all tried to tell her that Dylan was just trying to change, but she didn't believe he could. She never even gave him a chance.

"Olive?" She heard Tyler worriedly call out to her.

He was a witness to the entire thing.

"Are you okay?"

"You told me the truth," Olivia turned to him with saddened eyes. "And I didn't listen."

Tyler's face softened and he stepped forward, giving her a comforting hug. "It'll be okay, Olive. He's just mad. Give him some time and everything will go back to normal."

"But he was right," Olivia argues quietly from where her head rested on his shoulder. "Our normal sucked. He tried to fix it but I only made it worse. Do you think he'll forgive me if I asked?"

Knowing how stubborn Dylan was, Tyler chose his words carefully. "Just give him time," he advised. "He'll come around. I'm sure of it."
