Tyler Posey couldn't believe his eyes when he got on the set later that day.
Dylan and Olivia, in the same vicinity, laughing?
He squinted towards them, seeing Dylan crack a joke that made Olivia start to giggle again.
Tyler smiled widely at the sight, realizing his plan actually worked. He had expected it to fail, if he was completely honest, but was extremely happy with the result. Finally, his friends were getting along.
"Okay, what the heck happened between them?" Crystal approached Tyler, having been with the pair all day. "Literally last week they couldn't even be in the same room and now they're laughing about a Disney film. What did you do?"
Tyler raised his eyebrows, moving his eyes from Dylan and Olivia to look at her curiously. "What makes you think I did something?"
"Because you were more upset than anyone that they weren't talking," Crystal pointed out.
Tyler shrugged, a smile on his lips. "Guilty. But I didn't do it for me, I did it for them. I knew Dylan was upset for not getting to know her when the show started and Olivia felt bad about the prank. They just needed to talk, is all."
"And how'd you manage that?"
"By posting a picture on Instagram," Tyler answered. "The one I cropped you out of? I did it so they could remember a memory where they didn't hate each other's guts so I could convince Dylan to talk to her."
"Well, I guess your plan worked," Crystal nodded, impressed as she glanced back to their friends, who were still talking as they got their hair perfected for the next scene.
"Part one worked," Tyler corrected, puzzling Crystal.
"What do you mean?"
"I've always wanted them to be friends because I always knew they could be more," Tyler explained. "I mean, look at them! They're perfect for each other."
"You're a sly dog, Posey," Crystal laughed, shaking her head.
"I'm simply a friend trying to make my friends happy," he shrugged with a smirk on his face.
Crystal knew the boy was proud of himself, and he had a right to be. The Teen Wolf set had been tense since Olivia and Dylan's argument. Now everyone was getting along and things ran smoothly.
She switched topics, remembering something. "Wait, are you filming now?"
"In an hour or so. I just wanted to bug Dyl and Olive about not getting me a smoothie," Tyler joked.
"Apparently they had two last night," Crystal informed him. "That's what Liv told me anyways. Said it was what got them to talk. She was exhausted because they stayed up late at a park, but when she came in this morning Dylan gave her a mango smoothie. It was really cute actually; he said it was his turn to buy her one."
"I knew I was Cupid," Tyler stated dramatically, causing Crystal to giggle in amusement. "I mean, come on, Crys! Dylan bought her a smoothie! And right now they're in their own beautiful little world talking about things that only make sense to them."
"Just be careful, Ty," Crystal advised. "You can't force them to eventually become a couple. Let them figure out their own feelings."
Tyler took her advice to heart, he did. But looking at his best friends, he wondered how long it was going to take before he started to meddle.
