Olivia couldn't understand what was going on with Dylan.
Everything started before he posted a photo of them together on Instagram. Ever since then, he's been kinder to her. Holding doors open, complimenting her during scenes, apologizing if he bumped into her or screwed up his lines, calling her by her actual name.
Olivia didn't understand what suddenly changed, and it was throwing her off.
I mean, it was Dylan. The boy who wore a scary mask for a week straight to continuously scare her, the one who bickers with her constantly about nothing and everything. Dylan was the boy who purposefully took the last cupcake when she wanted one, the guy who once swapped the sugar in her trailer for salt and watched her spit up her coffee.
"If you were my boyfriend, I'd put poison your coffee," she remembered spatting at him in anger.
"Oh, babe, if I was your boyfriend, I'd drink it," was his witty reply.
So Olivia was having a hard time believing that he changed into a nice guy out of the blue. The gentleman that had been nothing but kind to her the past two weeks was not Dylan O'Brien.
And no one could convince her otherwise.
"And then he offered to run lines with me!?" She expressed her confusion to Crystal and Holland, them watching her pace in front of the couch in her trailer. "He even brought me a coffee! With actual sugar!"
"I'm sorry," Holland stopped Olivia before she continued, eyebrows furrowing. "You're upset because Dylan is being...nice?"
"No," Olivia huffed, tucking her hair behind her ears. "I'm upset because I know he's planning something. I can feel it."
"Planning what?" Crystal was just as lost as Holland.
"I don't know but the last time he was nice to me my hair was green for a week." Olivia wrung her hands together nervously, her eyes widening. "Oh my god! He's planning another prank."
Crystal glanced at Holland, unsure at Olivia's proclamation. "I don't know, Liv. Maybe this time-"
"That's the only thing that makes sense," Olivia didn't let her finish, her anger rising from the thought of Dylan pretending. "Oh, he is so dead."
"Olivia Brooke Mason," Holland abruptly raised to her feet in front of the actress and stopped her from pacing. "Have you ever thought that maybe Dylan is simply being nice because he wants to be? I mean, it's season three and you two have been bickering nonstop since you met. Maybe he's realizing that it's time to grow up a little."
"Grow up a little?" Olivia echoed in bewilderment. "Holl, are we talking about the same person? Just yesterday Dylan and Tyler broke character by making fart noises."
Holland winced, "You might have a point."
"So what exactly are you going to do then?" Crystal questioned next. "If you seriously believe Dyl is planning a prank."
"I prank him first," Olivia shrugged.
"And how are you going to do that?"
"With your help, obviously."
