> Sebastian roared, slamming his hands onto his desk. The muscle in his jaw jumped, and from the way his entire body shook, the amount of rage built up within him was on the verge of overflowing.
> Sebastian said quietly, > There was a moment of silence, and then it happened.
Sebastian lost it.
All the contents on top of his desk were shoved onto the ground as a flurry of profanities spilled from his lips.
> His eyes were blazing, >
I watched as Mason hesitantly took a step forward, his hands held up in surrender.
> Mason said slowly, >
Even I could see that through Mason's attempt to calm down Sebastian. It was pitiful really, how Sebastian was reacting to this.
So, me being the impulsive idiot, I told him that.
« For the love of God, Sebastian calm down. >> I said, stepping forwards. I was well aware that all eyes were on me, but I couldn't care less. I was much too determined to get my point across before Sebastian could cut me off with another rant. > I said, >
I took a deep breath and continued. > His voice was cutting, but his eyes held many more emotions than just anger.
>
Mason left the room without another word, leaving Callum, Sebastian, and me.
>
> Callum quickly exited the room.
I stared up at Sebastian, my breath catching in my throat. His dark eyes still on me as he leaned in, casually draping his hands against my waist.
> He stated, his eyes drifting over my face. >
Annoyance built up within me and I narrowed my eyes. >
Sebastian smirked, >
I rolled my eyes at him and tried to push his hands off, but that only lead to his grip becoming more severe. I felt a slight twinge of fear spark within me when I saw his eyes darken. «You just loved having Patrick all over you,» he said slowly, his jaw clenching as a show of his anger towards the subject.
My eyes widened at his words, >
He pulled away, scoffing as he did so. >
My hands formed fists at his words, and I felt the anger bubble inside of me. Sebastian wasn't even making any sense right now and it made me furious that he would imply such things.
I bit back my tongue and forced a sickeningly sweet smile onto my face. >
My back was roughly shoved against the wall for the second time that day. I let out a painful hiss as the scrapes were re-opened and a sting flooded over me. Sebastian's expression was deadly and the dark look in his eyes made me want to run away.
His eyes held so much- he was controlling, murderous, lethal, and possessive all at once.
« G-Get off of me. » I whispered, my eyes hardening into an equally as cold glare. Sebastian only smirked, though his expression remained emotionless.
he whispered, his warm breath fanning over my face, >

Sebastian gave me a hard push towards the doorway, and I nearly fell from the force held behind it.
I knew I could have gone upstairs at that moment, with my tail in between my legs like a wounded animal; white flag raised in surrender, or I could let my stubborn, bitchy self show through.
> And with a final smirk and sinister wink, and I turned and left his office.
+++++
The hot water scorched my skin as it came down, but I didn't mind the pain. In fact, I find that times I take comfort in physical pain.
It's a reminder that I'm alive- that I'm not some cold, lifeless shell of a broken girl who was hallowed out by death, and the cruelty of others. Danny called yesterday.
In my defense, he should have expected my reaction, after not calling for months.
> My tone was harsh and mean, which was ironic due to how overjoyed I was to hear his voice.
>
I scoffed, rolling my eyes as tears streamed down my face. > There was a pause, and I held my breath as a sob nearly broke loose. I didn't understand why I was being so awful- why I've ever been so awful to Danny.
