Aarohi stormed into the bedroom, her mind in complete chaos. A honeymoon? She hadn’t even wrapped her head around the whole marriage thing yet, and now this?

She yanked open the wardrobe, mumbling under her breath. "Of all the nosy people in this world, I had to marry the one who has an even nosier best friend."

Vihaan walked in casually, leaning against the doorframe with an infuriating smirk. "Careful, biwi. That nosy best friend just gifted us a luxury vacation."

Aarohi shot him a glare before grabbing a handful of clothes and throwing them into a suitcase. "I don’t need a luxury vacation. I need peace."

Vihaan walked up behind her, his voice low and teasing. "You’ll get plenty of peace, Mrs. Malhotra. Just you, me, and the endless ocean."

She spun around, pointing a finger at him. "We are setting rules, mister. No funny business, no unnecessary touching, and no—"

Vihaan took a step closer, cutting off her rant. "No what, biwi?"

Aarohi’s breath hitched as she realized just how close he was. His dark eyes held a challenge, daring her to finish her sentence. She swallowed hard and turned away. "No nonsense. That’s final."

Vihaan chuckled, picking up a few of her discarded clothes and neatly folding them into the suitcase. "Fine, biwi. No nonsense. But if we’re going to be stuck together in a private villa, we might as well enjoy it."

Aarohi huffed, snatching her clothes back. "I’ll enjoy it when you stop annoying me."

Vihaan smirked, watching her struggle with her packing. "You’re cute when you’re flustered."

Aarohi whipped a pillow at him. "Out. Now."

Vihaan dodged it effortlessly, laughing as he left the room. "Can’t wait for our first night in paradise, biwi."

Aarohi groaned, dropping onto the bed. This was going to be a long trip.

By the time they reached the airport, Aarohi was still grumbling under her breath while Vihaan strolled beside her like he had all the time in the world.

Karan, of course, had accompanied them to the airport, making sure they actually boarded the flight. "I feel like a proud father, sending my kids off to a romantic getaway," he sighed dramatically.

Vihaan snorted. "Shut up and go home before I make you my unpaid assistant for a month."

Karan smirked. "Oh, don't worry. I’ve already planned my revenge. Have fun, lovebirds."

Aarohi shot him a suspicious look before Vihaan pulled her toward the check-in counter.

Hours later, as they finally boarded the plane, Aarohi was exhausted. She leaned back in her seat, closing her eyes. Maybe she could pretend this was just a normal vacation.

Vihaan, on the other hand, was clearly enjoying himself. He stretched out, looking too comfortable. "I think I’m going to like this honeymoon."

Aarohi sighed. "I think I need noise-canceling headphones."

Vihaan smirked. "Don’t worry, biwi. I’ll keep you entertained."

Aarohi buried her face in her hands. "I should’ve stayed home."

Vihaan chuckled, leaning closer. "Too late now, biwi. The honeymoon has officially begun."

And with that, their journey to the Maldives—and whatever chaos awaited them—had begun.
