He said with a lion’s like voice, “Okay. No problem. I have seen. Now, you can live together. Enjoy your life!”Aman - Really? Do I need to do anything more? He answered, “No, no. You don’t need to do anything more. Many such cases come to me on a daily basis. You are free now. Enjoy your life.”Aman - Thanks a lot, sir. Sir, please give me a receiving that I came here and have submitted a copy of my marriage certificate. He said, “There is no need for any receiving. You can enjoy your life.”Aman - But sir, if you can give me a receiving, then I will be very thankful to you. He said, “There is no need. Enjoy your life.”I thought, “Why is he not giving me a receiving? I can’t even force him to give me a receiving!”Since I could not do anything else, I turned around to go back, so she did, he said, “Both of you seem to be from good families. I suggest you go to court and make court papers of your marriage.”Aman - Okay, sir. We came out of the S.H.O. office. I thought, “Why did he ask me to go to the court? First, he told me that I am free, I can enjoy my life. But when I was about to go, he advised me to go to the court. There is something fishy. I can smell it.”I said to Hemlatta, “Let’s go to court now.”Hemlatta - But why? S.H.O. has said that we are free now. We can enjoy our life. Aman - Didn’t you listen what he said in the end? Hemlatta - Yeah, he said something. Aman - Perhaps, he gave us a clue. Perhaps, he said indirectly what he couldn’t say directly. Hemlatta - You mean. Aman - Indirectly, he said that we must go to the court. Hemlatta - Oh. I kicked my bike and asked her to sit on the bike, “Let’s go to the court now.”Soon, we reached the court. I went straight to one typist and asked him to type a letter that I could give to the judge so that he might get us married. But the typist said, “There is no such letter!”Aman - What? I asked one of the employees from the court. He said that we can write a simple letter to the judge for getting married in the court. The typist - No, I don’t know about any such letter. Aman - Okay. I went to another typist and I got the same answer! I again went to the third, fourth and fifth typist but everyone gave me the same answer! I said, “What the hell! Nobody is ready to type the simple letter! Now, what should we do?”Hemlatta - The full court complex seems to be a whole mess! They are just screwing us!Aman - Hey, I got an idea! When I came before, in the court. I met one very genuine person. Let’s go and meet him again. Hemlatta - By the way, who is he? Aman - I also don’t know him exactly nor his designation. But one thing I know that he is going to guide us in the right direction. We went straight to that room and luckily we met him! Both of us walked up to him and I asked, “Brother, you guided me in the right direction. You asked me to get a simple letter typed but no typist is ready to type the letter!”He asked me, “Is she the same girl whom you want to marry?”Aman - Yes, I want to marry her. He looked at her and said in a stern voice, “See, he is going to take a big risk for you. Don’t change before the judge. If you say something other than the reality, his whole life will be ruined.”Hemlatta - No, I will not change. I promise. He called one another employee and said to him, “Nobody is helping them. They want to marry. Take them to any normal advocate who charges normal fee.”Another employee, “Okay.”The other employee seemed to be working under him. Any he took us to an advocate named Raj girdher. I told the new advocate everything what I wanted and till then what I had done. Raj girdher said, “Both of you have to file a protection plea.”I thought, “Again protection plea! I don’t need protection, man! But I can’t say this to him. Seeing no other way out, I decided to file a protection plea.”Aman - Okay, we are ready. Sir, please tell me what I have to do on my part. Raj Girdher - I will get paper ready within half an hour and you have to pay ten thousand rupee fee. Aman - Okay. I gave him ten thousand rupees and he asked us to sit and rest in his cabin till he comes back. He came back exactly after half an hour with so many papers in hand. He said to both of us, “Sign on these papers.”We signed so many papers. I guess he got about fifty signs of ours. Then he said, “Both of you have to come here tomorrow at 10 a.m. Both of you have to appear in front of the judge.”I looked at her and she looked at me. Both of us nodded affirmatively. I thought, “Oh gosh! Tomorrow, again we have to take a leave.”The next day, again we took a leave and reached the court exactly at 10 a.m. We sat in the cabin of our advocate Raj Girdher waiting for him to come. Hemlatta said to me, her voice trembling in fear, “I am not feeling good today. I am sensing that something bad is going to happen.”Aman - What! What are you saying? Today, everything good will happen. Today, we will get relieved of all of our tensions! Don’t think anything negative. Keep smiling. She shuddered, “I don’t know but I am feeling something bad.”(It will be so nice of you, if you leave at least a single word comment 🌺❇️🌹🌺❇️)
