Silvia is waiting for us with a big smile on her face. "Welcome to Italy. I am your guide for this weekend," she says to Julia and Sem. "Thank you. I'm curious what you're going to show us. How is it going here? Can you still manage with Kimberly?". Julia gives Silvia a hug. "Why do you think I sent her to you?" I give Silvia a little nudge when she says that with a smile. "Hey, I'm just standing here." Silvia puts an arm over my shoulders. "Sorry, I didn't notice you. You seem like a completely different person. Looks like you slept well." I nod with a smile on my face. "I was able to catch up on some sleep for a few hours. Shall we go to the hotel?" Julia, Sem and I go to a waiting taxi according to Silvia.
Silvia sits opposite me and keeps looking at me with a smile. "What?". Her smile grows even bigger. "You look really rested." That also makes me smile. "That's how I feel too." I feel like I am on cloud nine, but I won't say that right now. I'm not sure what the moment was between Julia and me at the airport. What I do know is that it felt really good. Normally when we share a quick kiss, usually before bed, I'm the one who takes the initiative. Now it came off Julia twice and it also felt a bit like there was something else behind it. I just can't quite understand it. "Silvia, can you also show us where you can eat the tastiest pastas?". Silvia looks at Sem with a smile. "After we bring your stuff to the hotel, that's the first thing we're going to do." Judging by Sem's face, he likes that answer. "Where are your thoughts?". I give Julia a questioning look when she whispers that to me. "Your whole face glows". I look at her with a smile. "I was just thinking about something." Julia looks into my eyes for a moment. Not much later a smile appears on her face. "That must have been a very nice thought." I nod. Julia seems to want to say something, but as soon as she opens her mouth, she closes it again. When I look at her questioningly she shakes her head. She turns her head away from me and stares out the side window. "What is?". Julia sighs. Without answering, she turns around and rests her head against my shoulder. I put an arm around her and don't go into it for now. It seems that Julia is also in her own thoughts for a moment. I see Silvia looking at me questioningly. I shrug my shoulders so to say I don't know either. Not much later we arrive at the hotel.
We took the elevator to the seventh floor. "I was able to arrange for Sem to be in the room next to you. There is a door in the room that connects both rooms". Silvia gives a key card to Julia. "Sil, thank you very much for being able to arrange this at such short notice". Silvia looks at Julia with a smile. "You're really welcome. I will now go down and wait for you there". As soon as Silvia enters the elevator again, Julia goes to the room with Sem. During that time I quickly freshen up a bit. Not much later I hear a knock on the connecting door. "Has his room been approved?" I ask as soon as I open the door for Julia. "He says he's going to survive this weekend." She then walks further into my room. "I just think he'll be jealous when he sees your room," she says with a smile. I must also admit that my room is extremely luxurious. For me, a bed, desk and bathroom with a toilet and shower would have been enough. Of course I now have that too, but also a large, luxurious seating area and a jacuzzi that I don't use anyway.
"I can sleep in this at the weekend". Julia has fallen on the bed. I walked over to her with a big smile on my face. I sit on the edge of the bed next to her. "I think I will actually succeed this weekend. But for now you really have to get up so we can eat". Julia looks at me with a sad face. Then she spreads her arms. "Can we lie here quietly for a few minutes?". With a big smile on my face I lie down with Julia. I lay my head on her chest. Her heartbeat is so soothing. She starts playing with my hair quietly. "You are extra cuddly today. Why is that?" I ask softly. "No idea. Must be because I missed you. Or do you find it annoying?". I shake my head with a big smile on my face. We let the peace and quiet fall over us. I enjoy this moment intensely. After about five minutes it is really time to go down.
We had a really delicious meal in a typical Italian restaurant. "Do you mind if I let Sem go back to the hotel with Silvia?" I ask Julia, on our way back to the hotel. "What are you up to?". I shrug. "I thought maybe the two of us could go for a walk. I've heard good things about an ice cream shop down the road. I just haven't had time to try it out yet." Julia looks at me with a big smile. "Of course I can't say no to that." That also gives me a big smile.
The four of us are standing in front of the hotel. "Sweetie, can you find your way to your room yourself?". Sem nods to his mother. "Kimberly and I are going somewhere for a while, but if there is anything you can always call. We're close." I see Silvia getting a big smile on her face. "You guys go on with the two of you. I'll make sure Sem behaves." Julia walks to Sem and has a chat with him. Silvia walks over to me and looks at me seriously. "Are you finally going to do it?". I sigh and really try to keep calm. "Sorry, I really thought you were up to it." I shake my head. "Okay, then forget I said it. What are you going to do?". "Just go for an ice cream". She gives me a little shrug on the shoulder. "Of course you do that without me." I give her a small smile. "For two weeks you have been complaining that you are stuck with me every day and now I am giving you some rest, is it not good either". She shakes her head with a smile. "Yeah blame me. Enjoy your time together". I give her a hug. "Thank you. I think it will work out." Julia walks towards us with a big smile on her face. "Shall we?" She holds out her hand to me, which I take willingly. Hand in hand we start our walk
It was really nice to have time alone with Julia. We have mainly been catching up on the past two weeks. We may have spoken every day, but then we talked more about other things. We just finished our ice cream and walk back to the hotel. Julia links her arm to mine. She rests her head against my shoulder. It feels really great to walk here with her like this. When we returned to the hotel, I picked up a bikini for Julia from Silvia. I think this is a good opportunity to try out the jacuzzi. We enjoyed that for an hour and then it was really time to go to bed.
My alarm goes off at three o'clock in the morning. Normally I like to get up to go to work, even if it is so early. Today I really don't want to get up. I'm still way too comfortable in Julia's arms. I continue to enjoy it for a while and then really have to get up. As carefully as possible I free myself from her arms. I quickly take a shower and get ready for the day.
I look a bit surprised when I come back into the bedroom. "What are you planning?" I ask Julia, who is sitting on the edge of the bed. "I'm coming with you," she says with a smile. "You would come later with Silvia and Sem, wouldn't you?". She nods and stands up. "But I'm already awake. So I thought why not go right away. Or don't you want me with you?" She walks over to me and gives me a quick kiss. Every time a tingle goes through my whole body when she does that. I really have to restrain myself from pulling her back for a real kiss. I also really don't know how much longer I can hold back, especially if Julia is the way she is now. She always likes to cuddle, but she really doesn't seem to be able to keep her hands off me at the moment. "Good Morning Sunshine". My smile on my face widens. "Good morning beautiful. I have no problem with you coming along. But wouldn't you rather stay a few more hours of sleep". She shakes her head. "I'll get ready quickly and then I'll be right there." With that said, she steps into the bathroom.
I did a quick tour with Julia on set to introduce her to everyone. After that it's really time for me to get to work. Julia has been given a nice spot to sit down, so she can see everything right. I expected that I would be more nervous now that she is here, but I am very calm. It gives a nice feeling that Julia is there. She also really cares about it. Between the scenes I always sit with Julia. She then gives me her honest opinion, which I appreciate. She also gave me some useful tips that I can use. What didn't go so smoothly was a slightly more intimate scene with Patrick Jonkers. Normally I don't have much trouble with these kinds of scenes. It was now a scene with just a kiss, but I had a lot of trouble with it this time. The worst part is that we had to redo the scene up to five times. After the second time, I saw Julia walk away. Probably to look for the toilet. That made it a bit easier for me to play the scene.
Around eleven o'clock I have a short break. Julia and I are sitting on a brick wall, from where you have a beautiful view of the city, having a drink. Julia sits close to me and rests her head against my shoulder. I think she's enjoying this moment as much as I am. "And you say that you always have to work so hard". I turn around when I hear Sem's voice. He's coming towards us with Silvia. "Good morning too," I say as soon as they reach us. "Good morning ladies. Julia can come more often. That saves me quite a few hours of sleep," says Silvia with a smile and comes over to give me a quick kiss. "Sleep well sweetie?". Julia asks Sem while she gives him a hug. I see him nod. "I want this bed at home too". That answer brings a smile to all of us.
Suddenly Sem's eyes widen. "I-Is... is that Evi Harmsen?". I start laughing. Evi plays my little sister in the movie. I already knew that Sem is a fan of hers and his reaction is golden. I walk over to him and put an arm over his shoulders. "We'll just walk over to her. Then I can introduce you to her". He looks at me in disbelief. "Do you really want to do that?" I nod with a smile on my face. "Yes of course". Together with Sem I walk to Evi.
I can see that Sem is a bit nervous when we walk in that direction. "She won't bite you. Evi is a really nice person". He gives me a small smile. "Evi, may I introduce you to my best buddy, Sem. He is Julia's son and a really big fan of yours". Evi gets a big smile on her face and holds out her hand to Sem. "Hi Sem. How nice to have you here. Has Kimberly shown you everything here already?". He shakes his head as he shakes Evi's hand. "I have nothing to do right now. Shall I give you a tour?" Sem looks at me with his big eyes. "Is that allowed?". I nod with a big smile on my face. "Of course". Then I look at Evi. "Don't take my buddy away from me." Smiling, she shakes her head. "I would not dare. Are you coming Sem?" Enthusiastically, Sem walks along with Evi.
I see Evi whisper something in Sem's ear and then she walks back to me. "You have to bring visitors more often. It's the first time I've seen you like this. That smile looks good on you," she says softly. I feel like blushing a bit. "Just make sure you walk with Sem before he turns the whole set upside down". Evi shakes her head with a smile. "You twist the conversation. We'll talk about it later." She gives me a wink. I don't know how fast I have to walk back to Silvia and Julia. I just hope Evi doesn't bring it up again.
"Do you mind if we go to Milan?". I shake my head at Julia, who asks if I've rejoined her and Silvia. "Of course not. If I could I would have gone with you". Julia takes my hand. "If you'd rather I just stay here, you can say so." I look at Julia with a smile and sit next to her. "I really like that you've been there all morning. Now go enjoy your shopping. I'll get back to work," I say with a sad face. Julia kisses me on my temple. "I'll see if I can find something nice for you too."
We waitfor Sem to return with Evi so that he can also come to Milan. He just prefersto stay here. Which I also really like. I can't blame him either. I havealready gone shopping with Julia and Silvia. You're really not going to behappy about that. They want to enter every store and can stand for hours infront of the same shirt doubting. So Sem and I sent them away and now it's timefor me to go back to work.
