In the shower I was able to recover a bit. I have to for Sem. I don't want him to see how much this is affecting me. That I blame myself for never noticing. That would only make him feel guilty and that's the last thing I want. I enter the living room, where Kimberly is waiting for me. As soon as she sees me she immediately stands up and gives me a hug. "Are you okay? ". I nod. "By the way, I will introduce myself. I'm Julia and who are you? ". Kimberly laughs. She looks very different. Normally she always straightens her hair. Only if she doesn't have to leave the house does she sometimes want to skip it, so now she has a beautiful bunch of curls. She also always has quite a bit of make-up on her face, which is not necessary for anything. I always enjoy it so much when I see her without makeup. She also has no make-up on and is wearing sweatpants and a hoodie. "Sorry, I'm Kimberly. I'm waiting for my beautiful girlfriend. You kind of like her." I kiss her. "I like this style. You have really beautiful curls and I really don't understand why you always wear make-up. You really don't need it". Kimberly gives me a smile. "Thank you. I will straighten my hair less often. Especially for you. I use the make-up so that when I am without make-up I can also go outside without people immediately recognizing me". I nod understandingly. "I thought it was for that. Are you sure you want to come? ". She nods. "I really want to come along. We just have to be a little careful. I don't think it's very helpful if people recognize me and see us together. So if you prefer that I don't go with you, you have to say it honestly". I give her a hug. "I want nothing more than for you to come along. So shall we go? Otherwise we will be late".
I stare out the window in the car. Kimberly put her hand on my knee. She makes me feel like she's there for me. It's so nice to feel that and to know that she's really there for me. "By the way, I will be in town with Sem later. He really needs new shoes". I start the conversation, so as not to get too caught up in my thoughts. "Do you like doing it with the three of us? Then we can go somewhere to eat afterwards. Anyway, I was going to ask you to spend the evening with three of us." I get a smile on my face. I can tell from everything that Kimberly really missed Sem last week. "That sounds like a very good plan, but aren't we just looking for the problems? ". I glance at Kimberly and see her shrug. "I don't think people recognize me very quickly now. Almost everyone thinks I'm in Italy now". I nod. I'm also really looking forward to doing something with the three of us. I really need Kimberly at the moment to keep me calm a bit. "Speaking of Italy. What came out of your meeting this morning?". Meanwhile we have arrived at the soccer club and Kimberly parks the car. "They found a location, less than half an hour from home. We'll start filming on Monday." I look at her with a smile. I'm relieved to hear that. "That sounds much better than Italy". Kimberly also has a beautiful smile on her face. "Indeed. Now I can just sleep every night in my own bed or at least in my own house". She gives me a wink. "You say it like you're not going to sleep in your own bed. Are you going to sleep on the couch?" I burst out laughing when Kimberly makes an attempt at looking very pathetic, but she fails miserably. "Would you like to sleep with me?" I shake my head. "I intended to sleep in your bed. But if you decide to sleep on the couch, then I might as well sleep in my own bed." Kimberly gets a big smile on her face. "I didn't want to assume you'd come to sleep with me, but I hoped." I nod understandingly. "I missed sleeping together. You're not the only one who sleeps better when we together. The past two nights I finally slept well after a long time. If you agree, I'd like to move up a bedroom". She gives me a lovely kiss. "I think that's a yes," I say laughing. To which Kimberly nods enthusiastically. "And now it's time to get out. The match can start at any moment." After I have said that, we first share the necessary kisses before we get out. I'm really have to remind that I can't kiss Kimberly outside the house. That is going to be quite a task.
When we walk to the soccer field I really have to restrain myself from grabbing Kimberly's hand. This is all going to be much more difficult than I thought. Sem has just finished the warm-up when we arrive at the field. He comes running towards us right away. "Kim, you're here too," he says enthusiastically. He gives her a hug first and then me. "Now I want to see how good you really are. You're going to do your best to keep me awake," she says laughing. "I will score especially for you today, but I have to go in now". He immediately runs away again. Kimberly and I smile at each other. "I don't think he likes me being there very much." I gently push her away. "Keep your distance for a while." She looks at me questioningly. "I want to do things that are not so smart". I can tell by her smile that she understands me. "I'll go to Silvia. I saw it on the other side. Then you can cool off." She gives me a wink. "Very smart. I'm going to get some coffee. Can I bring something for you and Silvia? ". She nods. "You can get me a bottle of water. I think you'll make Silvia happy with a coffee." I go to the cafeteria and Kimberly walks towards Silvia.
I join Kimberly and Silvia. "Sorry it took so long. I was kept talking. I hope the coffee is still a little warm". I hand Silvia her coffee. She immediately gives me a hug. "How are you? ". I look at her with a small smile. "If I don't think about it too much, I'll be fine. Thank you for bringing Sem here". Silvia nods in understanding. "You are welcome. I'll stop talking about it now." I'm glad she says that. "Do you know you're in my seat? "I ask Kimberly who is sitting on a wall. I walk over to her and hand her a bottle of water. "Thank you and no, I didn't know that". She jumps off the wall. "Sit down miss.," she says with a smile. "You can stay seated. I just thought it was kind of funny, because I usually sit there all the time". Kimberly shakes her head. "Have a seat. I do lean against the wall". I climbed the wall with a smile on my face.
Kimberly comes and stands between my legs and leans her back against the wall and me. "What is it with you and my hair"? she asks laughing. I didn't even realize I was playing with her hair again. "I do not know. It's automatic. Do you find it annoying? ". She shakes her head. "I don't want to be annoying, but you guys watch out a bit." Silvia says it when she leans against the railing next to us. "Sil, don't worry. Nobody recognizes me here and we are not doing anything wrong". Silvia looks at us with a smile when Kimberly says so. "No, you don't do that much. But how you stand now and those happy faces says enough. I'm just warning you. You also have to know it yourself. I think it helps that the rest of the people stay at the canteen. Is that always? ". I nod. "Most of the time. That's why I'm always here. Then I can watch the game in peace. Did Sem send you here? ". Silvia nods. "He said you sat always here. I wasn't sure if you, or in this case the both of you, would come, but at least you could easily find me." Silvia looks the other way, where both teams come onto the field. I grab Kimberly's chin and turn her face to my side. I give her a quick kiss. She gets a beautiful smile on her face.
I really enjoyed the game. I didn't expect Kimberly to be so fanatical. I even had to stop her once when Sem got hit. It took a while, but Silvia and I managed to make it clear to her that she should watch the game in silence. "Congratulations buddy. I have to admit that you are indeed good and it was a nice goal". I see Sem glo when Kimberly says so. Normally Sem goes straight to the dressing room after the game, but now he didn't know how fast he had to run this way. "Thank you ". He then looks at me. "Mom, can I stay the night at Ewan tonight? He is going to the game tonight with his father and they have one ticket left". I look at Kimberly. "What do you think? ". She shrugs. "That's not up to me". I look at her with a smile. "You wanted to do something together tonight." Before I can say more, Sem interrupts. "Kim if you say that I can go to Ewan, then you can have a date with mom tonight". Smiling, Kimberly shakes her head. "What time do you have to be with him? ". With a big smile on my face I give Kimberly a little nudge on the shoulder. "What? If your son gives me permission to go on a date with you, I can't refuse. So Sem, what time do you have to be with Ewan?". I really have to restrain myself from kissing Kimberly. I get so happy when I see how Sem has no problem with my relationship with Kimberly and whatever it does to her. "Can I go with him right now? ". I didn't realize there were tears running down my cheeks until Kimberly gently wiped them away. "I heard from mom that you should have new shoes. We actually wanted to go into town with you and then have something to eat somewhere. What time is that game? ". Sem glows when Kimberly says that. "At eight o'clock, but I don't know what time they want to leave," he says. "You go take a shower. I will talk with Ewan's mother." Sem nods at me and runs to the dressing room. "I think it's really wonderful to see you three together like this ". Kimberly and I both look with a smile at Silvia who says it softly. "Happiness looks nice, doesn't it". Silvia nods with a big smile on her face. I could hear the emotion in Kimberly's voice.
I see Kimberly looking around. "Sil, we'll be right back," she says as she takes my hand. "What are you up to? " I ask as she takes me by the hand. We walk around the corner. There Kimberly looks around again. She grabs my face with both hands. "I love you so much ". She can just say it before she puts her lips on mine. Her tongue goes over my lip. I willingly let her find my tongue. We pull each other as close as possible. "I love you too," I say softly, after we have stopped the kiss after a very long time. We give each other another kiss before walking back. "I don't have to ask what you did. Shall we head that way"? Silvia says it with a laugh when we have rejoined her.
Kimberly and Silvia have already walked towards the cars. I spoke to Ewan's mother while I was waiting for Sem. "Has Kim gone? ". Is the first thing he asks as soon as he gets to me. "No, she's waiting for us at the car. I have agreed with Ewan's mother that we will bring you there at six o'clock. Then we can go into town first. Is that good? ". He nods. We walk slowly to the car. "Sem, I want to discuss something with you". He looks at me questioningly. "I know we are asking a lot of you right now. That you can't say who Kimberly is and therefore can't say where you live. Which means that no friends can play with you. I want you to promise that if you have a hard time with that or if someone is having a hard time about it that you will say it." We have now joined Kimberly and Silvia. "There will also come a time when everything will come out, then even more will come at you. Please, promise me you'll report it to me or to Kimberly if there's anything." He nods. "And if you don't want to tell mom or me, you can always contact Silvia." I'm glad Kimberly realizes what we're talking about. "You have my number. I am available for you day and night. I promise if you tell me something and you don't want me to tell anyone, I'll keep it to myself and help you." Sem nods, if Silvia says so. "I promise I will say it".
Kimberly starts laughing and puts an arm over Sem's shoulders. "Which of that group is Iris? ". I see Sem turn a little red. I look at them in surprise. "The one with the red hair," says Sem softly. "I can see that you have an good eye. Have you talked to her yet? ". Sem nods. I've finally figured out what's going on. I get a smile on my face. "I went to her after training last Tuesday and we talked for a while." Kimberly gives him a high five. "See, the beginning is there," she says with a smile. "You're not going to beat around the bush as long as your mother and Kimberly, are you"? Silvia asks laughing. "Mom and Kim showed me how not to do it." That comment made us all laugh. "Silvia, are you going into town too? ". Silvia shakes her head when I ask. "Have a good time with the three of you. Just make sure you don't stand out too much. I'll drop by tomorrow early afternoon to discuss some things." She says the latter to Kimberly. "Okay, it's fine. Thanks for today. Will you make sure you're free on Saturday night next week? It's one of the last free weekends for the coming period, so I had a girls' night planned." Sem looks at Kimberly. "What about me? ". She laughs. "You are a man so you are not allowed, but I have already arranged something for that". He and I also look at her questioningly. "If you like it, you can go to a Barcelona game with Max next weekend." Sem looks at her with wide eyes. I now know what she's talking about. I just didn't know it was next weekend. Kimberly asked me a while ago if I was okay with it. That was during a period when we didn't really talk to each other. I don't remember most of what she said then, because I was mainly trying to keep my emotions under control. "For real"? Sem asks in disbelief. Kimberly nods. He gives her a big hug. "Thank you Kim". She gives him a kiss on the head. "You should not only thank me, but also your mother. You get that from both of us. You're doing great at school and everything, even though we know there's a lot coming your way at the moment. So you have to thank yourself too, because you're doing a really good job". Sem gives me a hug. "Thank you mom ". I shake my head at Kimberly. "You're welcome sweetie. Now get in the car quickly, otherwise we won't have time to go to the town." He lets go of me and gets in the car.
Kimberly and I say goodbye to Silvia and she leaves. "You really shouldn't have said it's a gift from me too." Kimberly looks at me with a smile. "Baby, who cares who he gets it from. Did you see how happy he was when he heard he gets it from both of us. I discussed it with you anyway, so we decided it together and so it from to both of us". I shake my head with a smile. "Now get in quickly before I kiss you in front of everyone." We both get into the car with a smile on our faces and leave for the town.
