I was getting the clothes, towel, and toiletries for Force when I heard him come into the room.
I turned, only to realize he was standing right behind me. I stuffed the things into his arms, telling him to shower while I waited outside.
"Phuwin.."
"Yes?"
"Look at me, please.'
"I..I don't think I can for now. I.. just give me a while, ok? I will be outside P."
"Phuwin.. please..." I heard him mutter persistently. I finally looked at him, fighting my tears back hard.
"I am 27, almost 28. You are 21."
I nodded.
"We both started out in our careers, but you are definitely the one with more growth."
I nodded.
"Being in a relationship together. If it hurts you in any way. I can't have that happening to you. I don't think I want to see that happening."
I looked at him.
"Not even giving this a shot. Is what's going to hurt me even more. Knowing that you are feeling the same way I am. If I'm wrong or read this wrongly, tell me. And I will not push for this anymore. I..will accept your presence in my life as a friend only."
I looked up at Force, whose eyes were not any better, full of tears threatening to spill. My hands went up to his eyes, brushing away the tears lightly.
"I don't like seeing you cry. It's causing this ache in me. Please don't cry.."
Force held onto my hand, which was on his cheek. He kissed the inward of my palm softly. I looked at him.
"I... I really want this, too, Phuwin. I got this crush on you, which I don't know if it's silly or right, but I know I want to be by your side. Just not in the same capacity that Pond is in. Does that make sense?"
I nodded.
"And I happen to have the same crush on you, wanting to spend more time with you. Does that make sense, too?"
Force nodded. His gaze on me softened. His hold on my hand softening too. His shoulders relaxed. He inched even closer to me. He cupped my face in his hands.
"Is age really a factor for you? Tell me truthfully P."
Force looked at me a long bit before shaking his head no.
"I lied. I really don't care about age. And definitely not when it comes to you. I just didn't think I was good enough for you. That's why.."
I just hugged Force when he said that.
"You are.. fine the way you are."
Force wrapped his hands around me, bringing me in even closer. I felt him softly kiss me on my head. I pulled away, looking at him. He caressed my cheeks, smiling softly.
"I... think we ought to give this a shot. What do you think?"
"I think it's a good idea P."
Force chuckled as he leaned in to kiss me softly. I tip toed a bit to lean further into the kiss, which was deepened by Force even more. Force finally pulled away from me, leaving me to pout.
He laughed at my face, leaning in to whisper that he would continue later but really needed that shower. I chuckled as I nodded, letting him go finally. He said he would be back soon and took off to shower while I went to switch off the living room lights.
I came back to the bedroom and slipped into bed, just checking my messages as Force changed and slipped into bed with me.
"I never asked, did you sleep here the last time?"
"Haha no P. I slept on the couch. You had just sprawled across the bed and it was tough to just fight you on it so I took the couch instead."
"Sorry about that Phuwin.."
"It's ok.. you can always make it up to me tonight by holding me to sleep?"
The blush that overtook P Force's face was so worth it!
