I woke up, finding myself in Force's arms. For a while, I was startled and nearly jumped away but realized it was only Force. Pond was sleeping in the couch opposite of us.
The two boys woke up too and smiled gingerly at me.
"I will go get ready and prep breakfast for us. Why don't you shower first Phuwin?"
I looked at Pond hard. "Why? Is it because I'm dirty? Do you find me dirty? It's because of yesterday right? You find me dirty, don't you?"
I was starting to get agitated and stood up, moving away from the two boys. They both looked crestfallen.
"It's not that, baby. He was just concerned you may want to shower before some food. But we can eat first then shower also. It doesn't matter."
"I'm not your baby. I'm not anyone's baby. I don't want to be anyone's baby. Stop calling me that."
Both boys fell silent, not knowing what to say. I looked at both of them.
"Get out. Get out and go home. I really don't want anyone here now. Go. Get out!"
Force and Pond stared at me speechless, but to give them credit, they just went off. I watched as they left, then sunk into my couch, sobbing. I hated chasing them away, but yesterday took such a toll on me and now I felt like I could trust nobody. I just wanted to wallow somewhere and never come back.
I eventually got off the couch, taking a shower where I scrubbed myself red. I changed, pulling on a sweatshirt, track pants, a pair of my glasses and a mask, wanting to head out to buy food and come back. I could have Uber eats but I felt like I needed a walk. It would be even better if I didn't have to come back.
I opened the front door, only to see both Pond and Force, still there, sitting on the floor.
"What...what are you two doing here?"
I gasped softly.
"We couldn't leave."
"We weren't going to leave you behind alone. You may have chased us away.
"But it didn't mean we had to leave. We just waited here."
I looked at both of them, wanting to glare at them hard, scream and chase them away but I couldn't. I ended up sobbing and just fell to the floor. But before I could hit the ground, Force had swooped in to grab me.
They brought me into the house and we stood by the dining table, as I sobbed holding onto Force tightly. He just cradled my head softly, holding me gently but firmly. I pulled away a little while later, looking at him.
"I can't leave you and go. No matter how much you scream at me. You mean a lot to me and I will hang around no matter what." Force muttered softly.
I just nodded, crying even more. He wiped my tears away and told me Pond and he would always be there for me. I looked at Pond who just nodded tearily and grabbed me in a hug himself.
Pond got me to sit down while Force got breakfast via Uber Eats. I didn't have much appetite but he patiently fed me until I had about half of the portion. Both boys didn't leave me, Force holding me the entire time watching shows while Pond cooked for us.
Then they swapped with Force doing clean up while Pond played games with me. Night came around and Pond went home for an hour to grab some clothes while Force put me to bed. He stayed by my side, holding onto my hands.
"Will you stay by my side?"
Force looked at me, his eyes glimmering. He knew that the question was more than just being by my side for the night. He nodded, assuring me softly.
"Always Phuwin. I'm dying to. Always."
