We got to the eatery and found a table. We sat down and chose from the menu. Force went to place the order and make payment despite protests from me. I watched as he stood at the counter, speaking to the waitress.
"Is he your boyfriend?" He's so cool, na."
I turned to see this little girl who was like 6 or 7 sitting there with her family. They seemed busy, so she took the opportunity to chat with me.
"Boyfriend? Aren't you too young! How do you even know that word?"
The little girl laughed at me.
"My brother has a boyfriend too. He's very cool, just like yours."
I looked at her for a long bit before laughing.
"You are funny. He's not my boyfriend, though."
The little girl looked at me for a bit, and then she giggled.
"You should make him your boyfriend, uncle. He's so cool."
Then she turned back to her family and had her dinner. I just stared stunned at her until Force came back.
"Is everything ok? Why do you keep looking at that table?"
I turned to look at him and filled him in on what the little girl had said. He listened intently and then burst out laughing! He then leaned in to me and then smirked, "You should listen to her and date me then. I do make a good one if I say so myself!"
"P!" I spluttered in shock. He laughed and laughed and then finally admitted he was teasing me. Our food then came by, and then we started on our dinner. Force was a thoughtful guy who was always quick to serve me first before taking any food for himself.
He observed I didn't eat some things and took them off my plate before I could say anything. I didn't say anything, just thanking him softly.
Once we were done with dinner, Force wanted dessert and asked me if I wanted anything. I told him what I wanted and he quickly went to order. I turned to see the little girl who was about to leave. She smiled at me, and as she was about to go off, I quickly stopped her.
"Why did you ask me to make him my boyfriend?"
"Because he looks after you, uncle."
I just looked at her as she left, holding onto who I think was her brother and another guy who could only be his boyfriend, I guess.
