First of all, I'd like to say Merry Christmas everyone! The year is ending soon, and this book has already been published for about half a year now!
It's a day before Christmas, but I figured I'd publish it today since I'll be busy with parties tomorrow... :3
(Slightly heated moment ahead)
Happy reading from your Author,
Baldie

"N/N, wake up,"
Mn...?
As I got up from the bed, I instinctively shivered from the cool air.
Glancing at Elise, already dressed and prepared, she gazed out of the mansion windows.
"It's snowing,"
I perked up.
"It is?"
Slipping on my indoor slippers, I walked over to the window. Everything was a pure white, snow covering the trees and the roofs of the houses in the kingdom.
"It's beautiful,"
"It is, isn't it?"
I walked over to the closet, picking out a sufficiently warm attire.
I put on the thick coat, making me look a little more like a snowball...
Elise wrapped a scarf around my neck, it partially covered my face.
"Make sure not to stay in the snow too long, and keep yourself warm... out on your gloves..."
"Jeez, I get it! I'm not a child..."
I'm older than her too... (mentally)
Finally arriving at the doors, I put on my winter boots and head out into the snow.
A breeze of cold air brushed across my face. It's so cold...
Snowflakes fell from the sky, landing on my palm before it melted quickly.
Even back on earth, on the coldest countries, snowfall was still a rare sight..
"Sister!"
"Ah, B/N!"
Rushing over to me, like a slightly bigger snowball, was my brother. Beside him was a man of elegance, Prince Leonas.
"B/N, careful, you'll slip,"
Slowly walking behind him, Prince Leonas pinched his temple, looking more like a concerned parent.
"Sister, let's build a snowman!"
"Coming!"
The two of us rushed off somewhere into the distance, Prince Leonas and Elise standing together, sighing softly.
"Batman, gather some snow! Shiro, Kuro, help with the sculpting!"
As my familiars began with the sculpting, I threw a proud smirk at my brother.
"That's cheating! You have three familiars!"
I stuck out my tongue at him.
"Alright then, if you'll play that way... Fenrir, help me!"
Summoning his own familiar, a large wolf with fur pure white as snow, they began their building as well.
The two nobles walked over to us, the distance between them making it obvious the two of them were awkward.
"Elise, come help me too!"
"Ah? No fair! Leo, call over your best guards, we're not losing!"
"I said you could use my guards, but not like this..."
...
After a morning of playing in the snow, it of course, ended in my complete victory!
Alisa and Blair joined us too, both a little disappointed they weren't there to witness my magnificent sculpture.
Elise had asked for the servants to prepare some hot chocolate and cookies beforehand, and we gathered by the fireplace for the gift exchange.
"First of all, B/N... I got you some land situated nearby the palace for you to do your training in private, instead of with the other knights... after all, you're my personal guard,"
"Oh? Prince Leonas, it sure seems you are generous with your dear knight. On the other hand, I bought my dear Y/N her favourite desserts....store,"
"..."
"..."
B/N and I exchanged glances before sighing.
"Oh, really? I never took you for the reckless spender, Elise. Well, I bought my B/N a most powerful stead at an auction,"
"How cute... I bought my Y/N the place that produces such steads... she can pick out any of them,"
"Ghh...! Elise, you..."
Elise smiled gracefully.
"Yes, Prince Leonas?"
Alisa scoffed, a smirk finding its way to her face.
"As expected of nobles... you only know how to flaunt your wealth. As for me... I brought Y/N my homemade cookies!"
"(Extremely exaggerated gasp)"
"Alisa... I love you so much...!"
"Alisa... I thought we were comrades..."
Elise huffed, folding her arms.
"Is this normal?"
Blair whispers to B/N, furrowing her brows.
"It is..."
"So, Miss Blair... what did you get?"
Alisa glances over to Blair, a still-victorious smirk on her face.
Blair cleared her throat, reaching into a bag...
"Agh..! It's so bright...!"
"What is that?"
The item glowed a mystical hue, the shape resembling a horn...
"This is the horn of a unicorn I slayed the other day,"
"Pardon?"
...
After that exhausting gift exchange, I had been flooded with gifts... naturally, I had also bought gifts for everyone.
A scarf for Elise.
A pair of gloves for Alisa.
A new coat for Blair.
A set of matching ornaments for Prince Leonas and my brother.
A beanie for Batman.
Two little bows for Shiro and Kuro.
I stared at the gifts given to me... and then back at the gifts I had prepared for them...
When is the next time I'll celebrate a normal Christmas with a normal gifts exchange?
Is this the life of a peasant?
...
"N/N, close your eyes,"
"Huh?"
She had snuck me out of the busy room while everyone else was distracted, taking me somewhere else.
Before I could respond, Elise had already covered my eyes with her hands.
"Trust me, just follow my lead,"
She slowly led me forward, making a few turns before finally arriving.
"What is it?"
Elise finally retracted her hands, as I regained my sight.
"What... is this?"
"I studied the different types of plants, and found one closest to this 'Mistletoe' according to your description of its appearance,"
I glanced up at the ceiling...
It was all covered with Mistletoes...
"Elise, I think you're only supposed to hang one..."
"There's no such rule, is there? One mistletoe... is a kiss, right? Then, let's walk through this hallway... each mistletoe you stand under, that'll be one kiss,"
"I don't think that's how it works..."
"Ready?"
She took my hand, leading me forward.
"Wait a moment...!"
The lights dimmed.
"Elise... this..."
"Shh, did you count? How many mistletoes we went under,"
"No...?"
Her eyes were dark, hazy almost, from what I could see in the dim lighting.
She leaned her head forward, pressing her forehead against mine.
"Elise?"
She pressed her lips against mine, her tongue slipping into my mouth.
"Mnh...?!"
She continued her pursuit, licking my lips softly as her hand found its way to my waist.
My vision was starting to cloud at this point, I wasn't sure if it was because of the lack of oxygen, or the tension between us at the moment.
"Elise... wait... take a... take a breath..."
I mutter in small pants, trying to recover from the sudden cut in oxygen from the kiss.
It wasn't long before she began her 'attack' again, pushing me against the wall and leaning forward, our bodies flushed together.
"One more,"
She says, kissing me.
"Another one,"
She continues.
"Again..."
"Elise...!"
She finally snapped out of it, tilting her head, questioning.
My face flushed, processing what had just happened. When did she get so good? Damnit...! That sneaky tongue of hers..
"Y/N! Elise! Are you there?"
A voice comes from the room next door, but Elise pays no mind to it, staring at me.
Before turning to open the door, she leaned in a final time and pecked my lips.
"Ah, finally found you two! What were you doing here? Did you sneak off earlier?"
It was Blair, and she was lightly scolding Elise, who clearly wasn't listening, before she turned to me.
"Y/N, your face is all red... and your lips look swollen,"
"Uhm, it's fine! Just an allergic reaction,"
"Huh..."
"Guys, you coming?"
B/N enters the room, glancing at me before looking at the mistletoes on the ceiling.
"..."
"..."
"Blair, come on. We should go first, don't disturb them,"
B/N says, dragging Blair away.
"Huh? Hold on-"
"N/N, we should go join them,"
"Huh? Oh, right,"
I walk towards her, my mind in a blur.
"Elise, you...!"
She licked her lips, the corners of her mouth lifting slightly, and she held a classic villainess expression.
For some reason though, it only looked seductive...
"I was always told not to eat dessert before a meal too..."
She trailed off, exiting the room first.
Dessert?
Hold on!
I ran after her.
