Dolores thought Matthew was being weird – wasn’t he also the one with Helen? Besides, she and Sampson were just friends, why would Matthew be so upset?

“I never meddle in your personal life, and please don’t meddle in my private life…” Before she could finish her words, her lips were suddenly blocked. She had so much to say, but she could no longer speak.

“Hmm…” Dolores reacted and pushed him away.

“We’re not husband and wife. It’s just a deal.” Dolores’ voice trembled. She was afraid to have such close contact with men. That night was already her nightmare! She refused intimacy in front of any man after that night.

Dolores was too angry to notice Matthew’s abnormality. She didn’t realize that he was only pretending to be calm in front of her. If Dolores was calm enough, she would notice that Matthew’s ears were so red after kissing her.

“Even if it’s a deal, you didn’t say we can’t be intimate in this marriage like other couples.” He turned around slowly and looked at Dolores who was almost losing her mind in anger.

Matthew frowned, wondering why she would be so angry. His kiss wasn’t poisonous, why would she be so angry after being kissed? Was it possible that she didn’t want any other man touching her because of Sampson?

“A man who can’t even protect his wife doesn’t deserve your love. He is not worthy of your love.”

Dolores didn’t understand what he said. What did he mean, was he talking about Sampson?

Just as Dolores was about to explain, Matthew already calmed down, walked over to the desk and sat down. He leaned back lazily and nonchalantly, resting one hand on the table listlessly. His expression was as calm as if nothing had happened a moment ago, “I can give you the land in Repulse Bay, but…” He paused, “It won’t be free.”

Dolores clenched her hands, shaking uncontrollably. She tried her best to calm herself and ignore what had just happened. After a while, she said calmly, “What do you want?”

Matthew lowered his eyes, his voice was quiet and small, “I haven’t thought about it yet. I’ll tell you when I know what I want.”

Kissing her was probably the most impulsive thing he had ever done in his life. It was unexpected. And his feelings were not under his control at all!

Dolores pursed her lips. It was not easy for her to get back what Randolph possessed of her and her mother. If she could get the power to have a chance to bargain with Randolph, it would be good.

“I won’t let you do anything illegal, and I won’t let you do anything against morals.” Matthew seemed to understand her concerns and made her a seductive offer.

After a moment’s hesitation, “…Okay.” She had nothing now, so what did she fear losing? If he could quickly get back what Randolph possessed them of, he could take his mother away to a quiet, beautiful place and start enjoying his life.

“I’ll say it one more time. As long as we’re married, you can’t cheat on me!” every time he remembered Dolores and Sampson in each other’s arms, he felt extreme anger.

“You can come out now!” Before she could say anything, Matthew interrupted her. He didn’t want to hear Dolores talk about her and Sampson. He would be very upset if she shared any more.

Dolores twitched her lips, but finally turned and left without a word.

The moment the study door closed, all the calm on Matthew’s face disappeared. He rubbed his eyebrows together. He was too impulsive right now. Thinking about the short but breathtaking kiss, his finger slid over his lips. Somehow he felt he could still smell her and feel her kiss. He didn’t even realize that as he thought that, her smile was getting bigger and bigger. He knew he shouldn’t, but he loved the feeling of kissing her. Her lips were soft, something like Helen’s.

But after that night, he could no longer have the same feeling towards Helen that he had as that night. Could it be because of the physical reasons that night? It felt strange but I couldn’t understand it.

Dolores wasn’t planning to stay after she left the studio. Jessica was still in the hospital. She had to take care of her. When she came out, she ran into Helen, who had just arrived at the villa.

Whenever Helen showed up, she wore exquisite makeup, well-fitted clothes, being beautiful and dignified.

“Do you want to go out?” Helen asked with a smile.

“Yes.” Dolores emitted a slight hum. She didn’t want to approach Helen who could look innocent on the outside but sassy on the inside.

“Miss Flores, you are pregnant by someone else. The reason Matthew married you was because his mother asked him to. I am the only one he loves. I hope you understand and leave him alone. ”

What Helen said was direct. Of course, Dolores understood what she meant. Dolores knew Helen was the one Matthew loved. Why did Helen keep mentioning her to him? Was she showing off?

Dolores smiled, “I know who I am. Miss White doesn’t need to remind me all the time.”

Helen was speechless for a while. She frowned and didn’t expect that Dolores could be so mature at such a young age.

At that moment, she noticed the door to the study open and saw a blurry figure. But immediately she knew it was Matthew. Suddenly he had a great idea. He reached out to push Dolores out of the way. Dolores was pregnant, and as a mother, she would be more protective of her womb. As Helen was about to touch Dolores, Dolores reflexively pulled back.

“Ah…” Helen was wearing high heels and immediately fell to the side.

This scene was seen by Matthew, who had just come out of the studio, and reached over to catch Helen who was about to fall. Being held so tightly to Matthew, Helen’s heartbeat was very fast. She took the opportunity to put her arms around his neck, she was scared.

Dolores felt she would be very stupid if she still didn’t understand Helen’s intention. But she didn’t understand why Helen was doing it. Her marriage to Matthew was just a deal. Why would Helen bother to frame her? What was Helen afraid of?

Dolores ignored Matthew’s question and said calmly, “I didn’t do it. Believe it or not, whatever you want.” After that, she turned and walked out. She would not admit what she had not done. She would never allow anyone to hurt her son.

If it happened again, she would do the same. “Stop!”
