She gave birth to a daughter to Matthew Nelson.
She also gave birth to Matthewâs sons.
Jessica Lennon was younger than Victoria Forbis, but looked much older. When Jessica was young, she did not find a good place to live and suffered greatly. When she returned, she chose to embark on a path that led her to a point of no return.
When Victoria was young, life wasnât easy for her either, but at least she took care of herself after marrying Jayden Nelson.
She was happy when compared to Jessica.
Now that her son had a family and children, she had no regrets about the rest of her life.
âGet in quick, donât let them wait for you,â Victoria said thoughtfully.
At that point, Jessica must have been very impatient to see the two children.
Dolores Flores also agreed, âMom, letâs go in.â Jessica nodded.
Victoria did not go in, but came out by herself. It should not have been easy for Jessica to see the two children, after all, she was not free.
When Matthew saw Victoria face to face for the first time, she didnât seem to lack any redeeming qualities.
Her mistake was marrying Jayden at the wrong time.
He stepped back.
The door opened. The two children were in the living room. Perhaps Victoria had told them that Jessica was coming to visit, so they waited impatiently.
When they saw Jessica, the children rushed to her at the same time.
âGrandma, I miss you so much.â One of the children hugged her leg and rubbed his cheek on her leg.
gαâηÏνððsâ¤com, the place for amazing tales Jessicaâs eyes filled with tears, she looked at the two children and stroked their heads, âGrandma misses you too.â
The two children were well taken care of, they seemed to get taller, especially Samuel Flores, who looked handsome like Matthew.
Simona Flores was more like Dolores.
She tried to lift the two children, but realized they were too big to hold.
Samuel grabbed her hand, âAbuela, get in quick.â
Simona complained, âGrandma, why did it take you so long to come in to see us, did you forget about us?â
Jessica smiled and touched her face, âHow could I forget you? When you were a little girl, Grandma held you and raised you. When you were born, you were big like this.â Jessica waved her hand. âNow youâve grown like a kitten. I canât even pick you up.â
Simona smiled and teased Jessica, âGrandma always makes me a lot of things I like to eat. Iâm a little chubby.â The little girl pinched her cheek.
Jessica looked at Simonaâs face. It looked like that of a porcelain doll, very attractive.
Her big, bright black eyes were lovely.
They looked like they were very well cared for.
She looked deeply at the two children, âGrandma is so happy to see them living so well!â.
Simona snuggled into her arms, âThis is so great, Grandma can come and live with us.â She was stunned and, at that moment, her heart half slowed down.
If they hadnât hated her and lost their minds, she would now have lived next to the children and watched them grow up.
She was not even sorry to see Dolores cry.
But seeing the two children, she regretted having been so impulsive.
She took Simona in her arms. She would really like to stay with them and watch them grow up.
âGrandma, I give you this to eat.â Samuel knew Jessica liked bananas, so he peeled one and gave it to her.
Jessica took it and hugged Samuel too.
She was very sad, but did her best to bear it and not cry in front of the children.
Dolores was still in the doorway and didnât move. She looked at Jessica and the children with a shrinking heart.
Matthew hugged her and rubbed her arm gently, âIt will get better.â
She was convicted of accidental injury, so a few years ago, when the heat came on, she couldnât avoid going to jail. After a while, her sentence was reduced for good behavior, so after two years she would be free.
Dolores just prayed that Jessica would get out of jail in good health and then she would have many days left.
She leaned into Matthewâs arms, her face pressed against his chest and her arms around his waist. âI really like you.â
For the first time, she was so direct.
Matthew tilted his head, kissed her and rubbed her forehead.
She closed her eyes and enjoyed that moment.
From the transparent tiles, Jessica saw their figures together in the doorway, and twitched the corners of her lips.
She was happy for Dolores.
Matthew was mature and stable and had a successful career. He was right for Dolores, so she was relieved to know that Dolores and he were together.
Jessica and the two children stayed together for over two hours. Dolores checked the time, the hospital would close after a while, so today was too late. So she went out and interrupted Jessica and the two children, âThatâs all for today.â
Samuel looked at Dolores, âDoes Grandma have to go again?â.
Dolores didnât have time to explain, so Jessica spoke first, âGrandma has to go somewhere far away and it wonât be long before she comes back. I came to see you today to say goodbye to you.â
âGrandma has to go?â said Simona, tugging at Jessicaâs clothes.
Jessica looked at Simona and kissed her forehead, holding her face. âGrandma will miss you, but she has to go. Itâs necessary, just like Simona, who has to go to school soon.â
Simona didnât understand what he meant, but she didnât want Jessica to leave, for fear of never seeing her again.
When she was a child, Jessica hugged her a lot, so she felt good about that.
âSimona and Samuel, you have to listen to your mother from now on.â Jessica looked at the two children.
Samuel nodded, âWeâll take care of Mom. Donât worry, Grandma. When I grow up, not only will I make Mom proud, but Iâll take care of Grandma too.â Jessica smiled. Samuel was very mature for his age.
He got up, but he didnât want to leave. However, sooner or later she had to leave, so staying there any longer would only make her feel sadder.
âGrandma has to go.â
Simona stood in front of the couch, wide-eyed, âGrandma, donât forget to come back to see me and my brother.â
Jessica smiled and said, âOkay.â
No one was home. Dolores let Matthew stay, âIâll go by myself.â
Matthew handed her the car keys. âCall me if you need anything.â
Dolores said yes smiling, took the car keys and walked out with Jessica.
After getting into the car, Jessica looked at her daughter, âI donât want to go to the hospital.â
Dolores buckled her seat belt and said flatly, âNo, you need to go get checked out. Iâve noticed you donât look well. If you donât go, I wonât feel relieved. If you donât have any disease itâs better, if you do we have to check it in time so we donât delay the treatment period.â
Jessica patted Doloresâ shoulder. âIâm so happy to have a daughter like you.â Dolores turned her head away, not wanting Jessica to see that she was crying.
She pressed the starter button on the engine.
She drove the car out. âSo you need to be in good health so you can spend more time with me.â Jessica didnât speak.
Dolores drove the car to the hospital and stopped the car, when someone came up that way.
