“Come out with me, I have something to tell you.” Jayden Nelson turned around and walked out after saying this, he entered the reception room. The spacious room glowed from the light filtering into the room through the window, Jayden Nelson stood by the window with his hands behind him.

“You don’t have to know this, you just have to help me lure Chloe in.”

“Noah, how long ago did you get back?” Mrs. Chambers asked warmly when she saw that it was Sean.

Sean smiled, “I just got back not long ago.”

“Come in quickly.” Mrs. Chambers stepped aside to let Sean in, Mrs. Chambers followed after closing the door, “You are too stubborn to be mad at your father, after all you are still his son, you should come back more often when you are free to visit him.”

The two families knew each other, so the way they spoke was direct and blunt.

“Can I have some water?”

Sean didn’t want to hear this, he was an adult now and knew what he was doing.

Mrs. Chambers patted her thigh, “I was focused on talking to you, I forgot to ask if you were thirsty, what drink would you like?”

“Plain water is fine.” Sean sat down on the couch and looked up to the second floor, it was time to get down to business, he asked timidly, “Why don’t I see Chloe, is she home? It seems like a long time since I’ve seen her.”

Mrs. Chambers was pouring the water, “Chloe’s upstairs, she’s pretty serious these two days she’s not out with her friends at all.”

“Oh.” Sean raised his eyebrow unconsciously, it was good that she was home so he had the confidence to trick her by going out.

“Drink some water.” Mrs. Chambers handed him a glass of water.

Sean took the water, “What does she do at home every day, doesn’t she get bored?”
