Knowing they were short of time, Norman at the request of the Queen called to have the plane waiting for theirs arrival.
Going as fast on the road as it was possible, the escort was just a blur for whomever found themselves walking at 5 Am due to their work schedule. They could only wondered what the royalty could do that earlier in the morning driving like they were a part of a race.
Her seatbelt on Katiandra felt the rush of adrenaline in her making her be on edge. She knew it could work if she played it good or was interrupted by some nuisance, closing her eyes she breathed in to calm herself.
The drive to the airport was about twenty minutes which means they will have to go directly where the plane was parked waiting for its last minute Passengers.
Soon enough she could already see the tarmac of the airport coming in sight, minutes later her car started nearing the huge plane surely surprising the crew which started bowing at the passing engines not even knowing who it was.
"My Queen we are here." Studying the surrounding alerted, Norman said aware that they didn't had the place inspected before coming it could be dangerous with the groups who hate the guts of the king.
Taking her time to gather her self control she nodded waking Kayley who was still asleep.
"My love, hey love... We are here. Wake up sleepy head." Opening her eyes at her mother tender voice, Kayley yawned her face in her palms before looking at her mother tired but loving eyes.
"We have to go out now Kayley... You made me a promise... That you have to accomplish." Seriously focused on her daughter face Katiandra slowly said holding her hands in hers to make sure she understood how important what she was about to do was.
Searching her face with her eyes the young woman out of a sudden looked out through the window to see a huge plane out, with english wrote on it there certainly waiting for her.
Panicked at how serious her mother was to protect her, she looked back at her mother trying to understand what she already did. Just to have the woman showing her a backpack she had in her hand before she knocked on the glass separating them from the driver. Understanding the code the Norman exited the car leaving them alone in the car.
"I'll give this to Norman, make sure no one open it when you will get here, there is the name of a bank inside written on it."
Staring back at her daughter Katiandra place the item on her laps opening the bag to show her what was inside.
"All you need is in this bag. The suitcase you put where I said.
For now on you will be Kayley Fendrik, When you will get there I want you to put this suitcase in a bank the account you don't need the number they will recognize the suitcase it is registering there. There is enough in this bag for you to not be short of it until I find a solution. Come now we don't have much time, there is a storm coming I don't want it to block you here."
Going out before she could even registered what she told her, Katiandra was immediately met with Ms Malone and doctor Killian who frankly didn't knew what she wanted, in silent they waited since she expressly asked to only see them.
Turning her head towards the women, the Queen stopped them from making the usual reverence going straight to the matter.
"It not necessary Miss Malone, Dr Killian. Here's is my daughter you certainly already saw her before. She is your new assistant."
Mouth agape at the situation the women did theirs best to not show surprise face, Dr Killian even looked toward the young woman she knew to be a wild one to see that she was on the verge of tears almost gripping her mother hand. She almost looked like a fifteen something years not making her age.
The bandages on her arms, which was well done didn't escape the expert eyes of the surgeon, the same with the pain in the eyes of the Queen. She didn't knew what it was she was doing but she knew it had to be done as wanted.
Smiling at the woman she came to respect, Dr Killian nodded.
"Sure my Queen. It will be done as you want it."
"I want you to make me a promise doctor... Treat her as she is yours... Please. Teach her what she needs to know to..."
Short of words the woman, whose face for the first time was as every other mother worry for their child, shook her head visibly fighting tears.
Clenching her jaws multiple times to hold it while breathing out she brushed her hand on her daughter back in silence then looked at Norman. Then put the backpack in his arms.
Perplexed the man was about to voice it when he shut up as she held her hand up her eyes closed for a spilt second.
"You are going with her Norman... Don..'t... Discuss it. I trust you, I know you will protected her with your life."
Nodding respectfully at her the man just waited for more explanations to come which she did.
"You said it yourself, your brother is more than capable of protecting me and my family here. There are men you formed that I trust too. You tell me the one I can trust then we are even. My daughter is important to me if I know you are we her I'll be at peace. We will talk later."
Turning to face the women with the wind blowing in her hairs moving them above her shoulders, she met with Killian eyes.
"I promise to be there for your daughter as much as I am for my own." Shaking her hand firmly she stopped from removing hers when they stopped shaking her eyes planted in the Queen's. Leaning towards her like she was about to kissed her on her cheek she could feel the hot breath of the Queen on her ears.
"Don't come back here and don't make me regret what I did. Be happy if you want to repay me. May God be with you."
Straightening herself she saw the subtly nod the surgeon made at her intention before letting go of her hand.
"Ms Malone... Help them as much as you can." Shaking her hand Malone nodded.
"At you service ma'am." Letting go of her hand she turned toward her daughter meeting her eyes that was already filled with tears.
Pulling her in her arms she hugged her until Norman stepped toward her signaling they had to go with a sorry gaze.
"I don't want..."
Pushing her daughter slowly out of her arms she sternly looked at her making her stopped what she was about to say.
"You are not my daughter for nothing now wrap it and walk your head held high. You know it is what has to be done... Respect your promise I will do mine! Got it."
Wiping her cheeks breathing out shakily, Kayley nodded at her mother tired but hopefull face. She knew the chance will not happen again for her mother to risk her father wrath.
"Good. I love you don't forget it... Now go...don't look back princess." Kissing her forehead she pushed her in front of Norman clenching her jaws as the small group headed towards the plane making theirs way up on the stairs.
Kayley couldn't believe how fast things went from her feeling trap in a prison she could never escape to a plane she was about to enter all because of her mother, unable to do as she asked her the moment she was about to enter the engine she turned making Dr Killian stopped behind her waiting for her to make her last goodbyes.
Waving her hand to her mother who was still standing near her car with her hand in front of her mouth her fingers visibly shaking, the light of the day was almost displaying it's colors on the tarmac of the Porys airport
The goodbyes was so heartbreaking that no one dare to push the young woman to move in, they all knew, even the pilot that came to urge them in stood still, silent the moment he recognized who was waving her hand to who, that it was a one way travel.
Kayley herself waited for her mother to respond back to let her go, which Katiandra finally did, waving back at her daughter she saw her finally entering the engine that had it door closed.
Gathering the small strength that was left in her, she held her head high hiding her hurt behind an unbreakable mask waiting for the plane to take off before going.
Norman taking his new attribute at heart as always, took the lead in front of princess Kayley taking her to the front by walking in front of her thinking his Queen would be proud of how the young woman composed herself to walk in the alley with people stares on her.
In fact apart of the pilot who already knew who she was, the rest was expectantly waiting to see who was that assistant of Dr Killian who could make them late for fifteen minutes. At the sight of princess Kayley the silence filled the rather large plane most of them not knowing how to react.
Seeing that she shook her head wandering her metallic gaze on them, followed by a nods she knew for the sake of it, she had to keep the play on. That was what her mother made her promised she couldn't let them know she was weak.
The Blake's breath was caught out of all the passengers they knew how troublesome that Zurow could be.
" I know I'm a princess... And princess always takes they time. But I'm sorry for making you late... I'm sure all of you have someone or something that make you want to rush the process. Mr Derby, right?" Addressing the pilot who looked at her astonished she knew his name.
"Don't look surprised, you are a well-known pilot, it's normal I know you... I mean it always better to trust someone who has your life in theirs hands. I don't want to hold you anymore."
Turning her gaze to the audience that was still waiting for her to finish what she started, not used to it she just did what her mother would have done. Smiling at them she opened her hands having them up before shrugging.
"What can we say, may God lead us, have the best of travel." Turning toward the Blake she smiled reminding Anna Blake of her mother.
"Mr and Mrs Blake sorry again for wasting you precious time that could have brought you closer to your children. I'm happy for the results of the transplants process though I never got the chance to present you my felicitations." Her hand on her heart she said looking at them with sincerity.
Smiling bright at the mention of theirs children, Mr Blake shook his head at her to brush away her comments.
"What is important is that you are doing it now. And don't worry I'm sure we will get there just in time. With the reception your family held early it is normal."
Admiring the poise of the young woman who seemed totally in control of the situation, Dr Killian settled down in her seat where her family was sitting fastening her seatbelt her eyes on the other side of the plane where princess Kayley nodded her head at something her bodyguard said to her before he sat near her theirs back looking at the rest of the plane occupants.
Meeting Malone eyes she nodded knowing she could work with her new assistant seeing as she had it in her.
"Mum?! She really is your assistant. You know who she is!?" Shaking her head at her shocked face, Killian just shook her shoulders.
Wetting her lips with the tip of her tongue she glanced at Malone who sat near the American people before diverting her gaze on her own family thinking back at the Queen words.
Coming back? She knew that certainly will never happen! Being happy she will do her best. At her daughter still contorted face she chuckled softly finally meeting her eyes.
"I guess you have to get use to that idea. She will be leaving with us."
The shocked faces they all did had her rolling her eyes resting her head on her soft seat to breath an air of freedom knowing she had near her all her loves ones the pressure of being caught just because she dare falling in love with a woman leaving her body.
Her marriage she knew was just a detail in her mind no one could stay with a rope on their neck when there were given a chance to remove it without the risk of dying. For when USA was freedom .
Her eyes closed the moment she felt the plane starting to move a little bit later they were in the air for the beginning of a new life for most of them.
Shaking her head when she wasn't able to see the plane again Katiandra finally breathed out moving back she rest her weight on her car feeling the weight of the adrenaline rush leave her body.
She felt tired but happy at the same time knowing Kayley will be fine, she knew that this place they were in was a real prison for her.
Taking a huge breath she was about to open her door when one of her guard, that was always working with Norman appeared from no where bowing respectfully in front of her, before glancing at her, then at the door.
Understanding she nodded letting go of it to let him do his work, she knew they put a lot of pride in doing their job not doing it was seen as a belittling act to their ego or an incapacity to lead.
Making a quick check of his chest she could see the pin of the chief security Norman always wore on his chest meaning he trusted him to take his place, moving out of the way of the door she waited for him to have it open wide then meeting his gaze she waited a moment to thank him.
"Thanks you Raphaëlly."
Hearing his name coming out of the Queen mouth, surprised him making him do the military salute that meant for the others bodyguards lined out of the others cars waiting for her to first entered hers, that her was their new leader.
Nodding at him she disappeared in the expensive car which closed without noise like she has instructed Norman she prefered it.
His soft gesture pushed the little doubt that could have existed at his choice. There were little signs that never lie Katiandra was sure of it.
Fastening her seatbelt her head rested on the soft but firm seat her eyes never closed once throughout all the trip back to the museum.
