"I trust you my love. But we will not deal with that today hmm. I know as an historian thing like that can happen but today I want to have a happy end of day with my lovely daughter we leave that to them spirits okay?"

"But Mom..."

"Shh, later princess promise."

"Okay then. You knew Alfred was bringing his friend today Mom? He never showed us any of his friends now he invited her to the family dinner. It has to be someone special to him. Knowing Papa he will not let it down, this girl don't know where she is coming."

Standing up she hook her hand with her mother walking her toward the door. Stopping in the middle of her large bedroom she squinted her eyes suprised holding her chest as her heart started beating wildly from no particular reason.

"Really I did not know." Breathing out a bit breathless, she tried her best to hide it from her daughter.

"Ah, I heard Mama Rosa saying that in the kitchen. She said he was all smile announcing that. I really want to see what his girlfriend look like, you know Alfred is a bit private with his life or there is nothing to show."

Shaking her head katiandra was about to open the door when someone else did it from the other side, Arthur walked inside taking in his wife and daughter features, at his doing his wife arm pushed her daughter in her arms protectively a move that brought a smile on his sadistic lips.

Oblivious of their interactions Alicia beamed at her father sight but her mother embrace kept her still by her side.

"Dad! This is cool! It is not everyday we get to have dinner together. You're coming right?" Smiling at her he pecked her forehead never leaving his wife eyes.

"Yes princess. It will be fun. I came to see if your mom was already here. I'm coming." Without a word Katiandra walked them outside hugging her daughter.

"So, tell me everything you know about this friend of Alfred. What else do you know."

Leaning her head on her mother shoulder she started talking animatedly with no clue of her mother heart still hammering she did not know at that point if it was from her husband unwanted presence in her bedroom or the unknown reason it started for.

Doing her best to follow her daughter line of thought she wondered what he was thinking by entering her private quarter, he knew fully well she did not like his presence anywhere around her.

The finally entered the kitchen where the food scent were sight of heaven, smiling at the old matriarch working all the magic the Queen walked her way to place a tender kiss on her forehead. Accepting it the old woman gave her the spatula to continue the mixage of the soup that was almost ready. It made her feel at home, she was the mother she had many time pray for the universe to grant her.

Laughing at one of her mother joke Alicia sat on one of the kitchen stool eyes shining a cup of apple juice in hand.

While her mother was looking in one of the pot on the counter, her big sister entered a frown of defiance on her face, the moment she met Alicia eyes.

"I guess mother has to be here for you to be this happy?"

From where she stood Katiandra tilted her head to the side spotting her oldest daughter, Kayley's near the entrance of the kitchen, in her signature leather jacket above a strapless white leather dress, nagging her younger sister luring her in a fight as usual.

"Why do you always bother your sister Kayley?"

"Why do you always defend her mother? Is it a crime to ask a question now?" Staring straight in her eyes the defiant young woman asked unafraid.

"Yes, when its only purpose is to make her feel bad. Good evening to you too princess." Deflecting the incoming anger spiral she could see in the way she twisted her face, the mother said smiling to her with the spatula still in her hand, tasting it she nodded at the old chef, while a grimace of disgust appeared on Kayley face.

"I'm already one mother no need to remind it to me. You know what? I will go to the living room with the men, I don't even know why you two bother to come here at first if they have to serve you everything you want."

Arching one brow at her daughter words Katiandra slowly closed the pot of traditional meal that was so complicated to cook, but do finely made. She was aware of Mama Rosa, the housekeeper, and another maid that was always around her, frozen bodies.

One thing she learned was to always treat them as they were, help, without much negative into it. Mama Rosa was the exception. The older woman was a part of who she was, she was more than family she was loyal to her always. She had always keep her back clean, that is why she treated her as her equal plain and clear. No way she ever disrespect her, their understanding just clicked from the beginning.

"This is Mama Rosa you are speaking about!" Offended Alicia said clenching her jaws as her mother would.

"Look..." Already charging to retaliated at her sister outburst toward her Kayley lips closed at the usual "shhhh" sound their mother always emitted to have the attention of someone she refused to yell at. Looking her way the young lady took a step back.

"You will be the one looking at me dear! I am still the ONE in charge here and I demand you make you apologies to Mama Rosa now. I advise you to not test me dear you may regret it." Hearing her mother cold voice the revolted young woman stopped in her tract on the doorway clenching her fist feeling humiliated to do what was asked to her.

"Madam it's not necessary I.. "

"Rosa did I asked you to speak?" Lowering her head at her mistress words the elder started doing what she had to.

Turning on her feet Kayley lowered her head at her mother insistant gaze. It was nit a good idea to backtalk to her that way she knew it clearly but could not refrained. It was like the only way she could have her interested in her.

"Mama Rosa my apologies it won't happen again." Uttered clearly the words felt strange in her mouth even though she knew the woman did not deserved to be treated poorly by her.

"It's okay miss Kayley."

Sending a side nod to her mother quickly walked out to be with her brothers, she was never in good terms with her mother it was as if she did not love them at all always strict in a way that she never understood. Her only pride was her her last daughter, with whom she never failed to parade around the palace.

Taking a big breath she entered the living room cringing at her father sight understanding what her mother and sister was doing in the kitchen. At that very moment she regretted her filthy mouth, she should not have been a smartass back there, this was worse than hell itself, plastering a fake smile she sat down.

"Mom! She can't just talk to people like that, being a princess has nothing to do with hellish mannerisms." Hugging her from behind Katiandra placed her head in Alicia neck making circles on her back.

"Love do not worry about that hmm? No but. I want you to be happy today precious."

The glow came back in Alicia eyes immediately, chuckling she stayed in her mother embrace until Mama Rosa told them to go in the living room. Regretfully they obliged entering the large room less than two minutes later.

"Finally my Queen and princess grace us with their loving presence." Standing up Arthur kissed them both before they sat on one of the couch in the bright place.

Everything was so marvelous around them from the carpet to the chandelier that spread a white light, the candles light around gave a feeling of Alibaba palace movie.

The floor was in white marbles covered by here and there with expensives carpets that were single piece made only for them with PORYS logo on them. The leather couches were all white, Katiandra choice, the best part of the palace was decorated by her.

Arthur Zurow Alister was a slendery sixty one year old man well built with crew cut hair like his two sons, he Always appears to be calm, unafraid and focused keeping the appearances when he was actually a cruel, violent and non sensitive person.

"Lincoln where is your brother? He knows your mother don't like to wait dinner will be serve in a bit."

Looking at his Rolex watch his son made a smile that always calm his father, Katiandra shook her head at how her smitten husband took the remote control waiting his answer. Even the devilish person bear weakness, she thought watching them interacting.

"Dad you know Alfred, I'm sure he is the one putting them late, I saw his car before I came here he said he were doing as fast as he could to be on time."

"Them?" Speechless at the word Arthur stood up overjoyed staring at his first son, Alicia shook her head at his reaction, she just knew it, the poor woman.

"Them in him and a woman!?"

" Dad Fred is a man you know, only too picky." Knowing what his father outburst implied Lincoln countered smiling himself, his little brother was finally decided to enter men world that was to be acclaimed, even him was happy with the news.

"Thanks you Universe! The day has come! My son is a man!! He had me worry for a bit. Ahh this is an occasion to rejoice."

As soon as he exclaimed himself the maids started entering with the liquors he always used for his rejoicing moment that could be every day, Alfred came behind them speaking animatedly with someone they could not cleary see, the maids stood in her way.

The young man that physically looked like the exact image of his father pushed the maid in front of his friend delicately to free the way for his guest.

Taking a sip of her champagne Katiandra swallowed slowly eyes glued on the woman that stood in the doorway with her son her heart started again with the same weird beating things it did earlier, going faster like drum song, from the place they all sat she was the only one abled to see them properly there were still four steps to get in the upper side of the house in the dinner room.

From the large marble dinning table of eight. The girl walked swiftly in the dinning area in a black strapless dress. Facing the entrance the older woman got to have the first sight of her, it was just whoa! She could not stopped her heart going wilder, something like that never happened to her. It was magic, all was slow motion her skin tingled like electricity running on it. She suddenly on edge, like she was about to fall in the nothingness. She could only stare bewildered.

Her hairs cascaded around her angelic face falling on her shoulders as she get closer katiandra could see that she had something that was rare in the country, her eyes color was grey hinting that she had European ancestors.

Checking her out from her light golden flaxen natural hair which gave her a bright childlike and youthful look, to her toe perched on sexy black heels coldly. It was like if she was not happy to see her she could tell she was not far from seventeen to twenty.

"Sorry for the tardiness mother, Father. Family, meet Lorelei Kali Kamali, my friend." Standing up they all shook her hand when it came to Katiandra as soon as she met her eyes she was mesmerized.

"You have gray eyes, do you have European ancestors?"

Unable to take back her question as it was the first thing that came in her mind, she saw as the girl gray eyes became more deep and warmth, captivating her soul, it was rather alluring more like a bit mysterious to say so.

There was still no contact between the two, taking a sip of her beverage she waited for her answer which struggle to get out of the caught up girl who looked at her friend then at the stunning woman whose green eyes captivated her.

"Yeah, huh, yes Mrs Alister, my great grandma was from Ireland."

"Is that so?" A smile fight its way on the older woman face shocking everyone even her husband.

"Yes, Mrs Alister, the Kamali have lived there for as long as things were made according to Grandma. When my great grandma passed my grandmother met a man from Poryis, my actual grandfather then they decided to come and live in his country. I still have family there."

The explanations came clearly from the exquisite lips while their looked straight to the Queen incomprensible eyes they were mixed of many things.

"It is actually good to meet someone from there, I could tell when I laid eyes on you." Smiling warmly at her Queen Alister gaze totally changed radiating welcoming vibration to the wary young woman, who accepted it by smiling back.

Hugging her under everyone wide eyes of shock, the Queen closed her eyes briefly to hide the way she felt. She could not explained it but suddenly her mouth watered as theirs skins touched and she was really sure she was not the only one feeling the energy between theirs bodies. The shudder of Miss Kamali in her arms was proof enough.

"Take a seat dear. You have an unique name Lorelei Kali Kamali, never did I met someone or scriptures were all those name are used all together."

"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl!" Helping her with her seat Alfred said making everyone smiled.

"Fred dear her names have meaning that make me wonder what inspired your parents to choose them Miss Kamali? Are you familiar with ancients civilization?" Looking at her questioningly whe had to diverted her gaze on Alfred  whose laugher filled the room.

In fact everyone looked at him waiting for him to stop his feasting joy. While they all did the older woman turned her gaze in Miss Kamali direction, the young woman head was tilted to the side, her pale skin getting rosy on her cheeks. Her interest ignited she turned back to her son.

Lorelei who sat in the right of the intimidating woman she never thought she could meet that near, also wait for Alfred rude manners to stop, she did not like to be put on the spot.

"What are you laughing at? Am I a clown?"

" I, no Mom it just, whoa, Lorelei is actually one of your students."

Speechless the older woman stare turned again on her table neighbor her eyes piercing her younger face unable to make any kind connection with any of her students traits on her she would have know if she had already met someone with gray eyes and that much beautiful. Plus Alicia suprised eyes said it all.

"You can't recognize her even it you try you best, she is actually not clothed like this in a dayly basic. Not much a front raw person too."

" In which class are you?" The stare that was now focused on Lorelei never left her even when the food was served. The voice, a mix of cold and commanding shook Lorelei inside.

"I'm in my third years, I have to get my bachelor's degree this year and I'm majoring in ancient civilizations."

The gleam of amusement in her eyes that Katiandra could not stopped studying as if she wanted to enterwiew the soul within her made her arched her eyebrows sceptically she still could not pinned her face in class at all.

"That means I was your professor already for two years? How come I never saw you? There is not a lot of people in my class, this year you are fifteen. I would have recognized you. Your name is not a common one at least for its meaning in history not everyone mix a mermaid, a goddess and a spirit in one person. It would have grabbed my attention."

"Actually I go by Lorelei k.k. I, more my parents made a request to the Dean for that, they allowed me to use my name like that even on the students list it is written like that."

All the attention was on the two women conversation, taking a spoon of her food thinking as Lorelei did the same really uncomfortable as to why her professor seemed to be so interested in her, if she knew that it will have been like that she would have stayed home rather than accepted Alfred help to be his wingman's tonight.

"For the last two years I did not allow such a thing. If it was the case the Dean of the department of classics history and religious studies would have informed me directly to avoid problem that means that your students card has the same name. How is that possible? Where did you two met? How old are you?"

Sensing a breach in her story and the fact hat she could not remember her when her eidetic memory could never forget anything, Katiandra placed her fork and spoon near her plate wiped her mouth, seeing where it was going, her husband did the same. All their attention on the young woman whose demeanor showed indifference.
