" Sloan make sure Blake assistant give you the chart I asked him to do before the end of this day! I don't care if he has to be on it all day. I want it all before 8pm sharp."

Grimacing at all the paperworks scattered on her desk. Some in a stack of files, others she still had to finish, Katiandra cristal green eyes settled back on Norman young brother sternly. She couldn't have anyone disturbing her plans.

Knowing to not make a sound when she was like that, he just nodded which she was thankful for, frowning internally as soon as her eyes met Raphaëlly's, she pondered on the level she could place her trust on him. He was merely a stranger to her way of life.

Norman while here was a living image of a deaf and mute servant whose work was and still is impeccable for her. Never once did she complained about him spreading her privacy around like Arthur people often do. He prove her his loyalty. Knowing honor was a pride to hold in family around, that was the reason why she preferred to work with Sloan. she knew he would never do what his brother would not.

Sighing internally feeling defeated at the woman defiance toward him, the newly promoted chief of security awareness told him to just wait for her to tell them, or for the instance him since Sloan just left, what to do.

Doing his best to not brake the link her gaze was holding him on, he steadily looked straight into her eyes, straightening his shoulders, bracing himself for what was to come. He knew he had to make his proof to be worthy of her trust. So whatever come be it.

Pondering, the Queen piercing eyes having the man in check, was lost in her own mind a moment, evaluating her options, what was sure was that she had to make use of his potential. To which extend? that was something left to determine.

What she did not know was how observant Raphaëlly was, that was one of the reasons why Norman took him in his group as his second the moment he understood it about him.

Things that could seems normal to people was analyse by him in the millimeter, setting it straight with him. It had save life before. Nothing was hidden from him, a gift he had worked into perfection. He knew it was an ability that could make or destroy him depending on the person he chose to side with. Standing firmly straight on his feet he waited, not letting out the trouble emotions fusing within him for the first time in his entire life, reducing him to a human being as everyone else.

He just wanted to make his job right. To make it happen, it was important to have his boss trust. That was the key of his success, the first thing to have, that could justify why he was even brought in this world to begin with. What would confirm the long life goal that shaped all his journey, and still does.

He knew he was born to serve in Poris  Royal secret service, to be one of its best asset. Serving under the Queen was his mantra whenever he felt like giving up. It was unexplainable. He just knew he would make a difference. But that certainty, that was threatening to be broken, made him the best, only concurrence by Norman at time, he knew they were both important in the grand scheme.

He knew Norman had and still has the Queen trust. That was what earned his brother to be in the woman good favor, a fact it was.

The man was always a foot ahead of him in a way but he was also a great teacher and friend, that he respected and always will.

The room felt in a deep silence, then imperceptibly bitting her left cheek for a second, the intimidating woman sharp gaze, that had the effects of a laser  scanning his soul let go of its pray.

Roaming around the spotless big office clearly in deep thought, they finally landed into grey peaceful orbs that was already on her at the other side of the room, in-between the floor to ceiling glass wall and the huge bookshelf where they kept all the important documents of the researchs of North Gathor, through the shelf where her face was almost hidden by the accumulation of files, her eyes was clearly visible, shining with that life inside that kept katiandra going in this life

Not minding the new arrangement that was weirdly not that scandalous Anymore, she focused on her target already moving to her desk in front of the shelf, not as big as hers.

Normally the bookshelf would be near the elevator not obstructing the way of the light she held dear in all the rooms she worked in, even though the light still get in.

The new arrangements was to prevent anyone to have a clear view of the inside of the office if using a drone or satellite. Which was cautious to do according to the non-ethical activities that was held in the big room most of the time, work unrelated that is.

Holding his breath when they held gaze longer than usual, as the young woman  opinion was important for the Queen, Raphaëlly knew his future was playing in front of him. Clenching his jaws, his  attention, even though eyes kept down, was on the right hand of the Queen, he felt his bowels furiously clenching at the suspense that made him focused, from his peripheral vision, on her next move.

He knew by now that whatever she decided in all matters, the Queen always go for. This was a one way ticket, from good or hell.

Oblivious of the interest the man had on their interaction the women, through the silent conversation that last, but  seconds where not all could be deciphered even with his abilities.

Finally ended with a small movement, one which could have passed unnoticed but that made Raphaëlly breathed out in relief, surprised he was first holding his breath. Just a slight move of eyes, an imperceptible small squeeze, like an invisible "Try it."

Understanding the silent plead Lorelei addressed her to give his chance to her security man, Katiandra lowered her gaze on the files in front of her thinking back to her next move.

Lorelei was special in so many ways that sometimes she would take in her opinion over her too biased own. She see everything in paradise colors, not the bad all is fine when it is not, but fairly, for her and the others.

Which means extracting the good out of the bad. She sometimes wondered if she was not some kind of angel living amongst humans. That was confirmed, she was certain, by the precedent revelations on her abilities through the vision of Kathleen.

Katiandra trust her more than ever.

Her predictions never failed since they met or from what she had learned about her past. So young but already anchor on solid base, knowing what she wants. The universe respond to her like she was the one writing it.

After closing the files she just signed, under two sets of eyes, she did not do as Lorelei thought she would, putting it with the others. But breathed in aware of the fact that she was betting their destiny on her Faith in her lover.

Standing up she rounded her desk slowly but firmly her cold gaze meeting the bodyguard ones.

" I need you to do something really important for me. I do not want it to be rush, or mix.... All the details are inside."

Taking the files from her stretch hand, he met her eyes which most likely said to him "Surprise me. For your good. Fuck it, and you will regret ever coming in this world."

Nodding firmly, he made a salute to the both before entering the elevator aware he had his own destiny to shape in his hand, to build or destroy.

He could have what he wanted, the Queen trust, at which price? That did not matter, she was not evil as her husband. Which was the good news.

Lowering his gaze on the folder in his hand he breathed out thanking the universe for having his back before slipping it inside of  his dark blue military bomber jacket multi-pocket pilot army Cargo for men as he had seen Norman do many times and as he was instructed to do when the time will come for their boss to require something to be done.

Already focusing he relaxed, his eyes firmly pressed on his reflect on the elevator wall, the new style of the Queen details made them looked less Men in Black.

He knew it was Miss kamali ideas, which was really comfortable, not to mention how hot head it looked on all the men firm bodies, he certainly was less stern, handsome killer as his dad called him sometimes, which he had to admit was true, the ladies never stop coming to him now. Rolling his shoulders, he breathed out waiting for the doors to open allowing him to start working right away.

"He is a good guy. Norman trusted him, you should too."

Tilting her head to have a better look of her from head to toe as she was now standing in front of the tiny desk, the older woman held her right hand half way up in front of her torso in a duh way, like she was stating the obvious making Lorelei laughed, a sound that the Queen almost drank in with a bittersweet heart.

Marveling at the sound, she mostly will miss sooner, she stood there frozen for a moment before walking straight toward her. In a matter of second, held her tightly in her embrace, no space left between them.

The familiar knot form in her throat as soon as the scent she had memorized hit her nostrils, closing her eyes she held her breath, fear spreading throughout all her body it was so surreal but she knew there were no other way.

The intensity of their interaction was so powerful that Lorelei could feel it in her very soul that something was off, the way she was being treated the last four days was just coming out of the most successful movie romance, not that she was against it but there were something that was not settling right with it.

It was like she was making her goodbye to her, frowning at soon as the thought crossed her mind she pushed back slowly making the grip on her body loosened, to look at her straight in the eyes. This could not be!

"You are coming right???"

The fear perceptible behind her words made the older woman thumbs rubbed her cheeks not breaking the eyes contact.

"I will eventually come baby... No! No! No! don't make that face. You know we cannot go at the same time love... You have to go princess. You know that I have been juggling between my work schedule to have everything done lately, starting from the hospital to the university and I have been so relieved to have you here. For the ministries I'm in charge of, there are a lot of things to do."

Not finding anything to say Lorelei just stared at her knowing she was truth. Frustrated at the highest level she shook her head NO, knowing she was being difficult, but she couldn't help it. Breathing out, one tear rolled on her left cheek as the tip of an iceberg it could not show the war that was brewing in her chest.

The cold that spread in her chest, spread so fast she had her bowels churning agitated. She already felt lost, how was she able to be without her love? She didn't even want to think about it. What she said in her brain totally contradict the storm in her heart.

Reading her body language like an open book, Katiandra could feel on her palm how cold her body was becoming. The sweat that was forming on her forehead was in total contradiction with it or how cheerful she previously was. It was frightening to see how lifeless she had become.

Shaking her head, she squinted her eyes while moving them in a way that made her be in the middle of the young woman legs while she sat on the edge of the desk. The way she was reacting was the reason why she waited that longer to tell her.

keeping her calm for Lorelei sake, to stop the panic attacks she felt was coming, Katiandra held her cheeks firmly in her hands, making her focused on her.

"Look at me, look at me, look at me... Like that, only me... Breath with me baby, like that... You are okay... We are okay." Finally breathing normally  Lorelei face held in her lover soft palm theirs eyes anchored in each other's, everything around them fading.

Lost in their own world like always they felt no need to brake it, but both trying to memorize all the details of theirs face aware they were short of time.

"I Know it is difficult, I do. But. There is no way I will let you stay here. Sshhh, I told you I will find a solution. This is the moment you walk out of this toxic place without looking back... You, you are my life, you know it, I do. I will never give up on you. Never. Always remember that. All I want you to do is to go there be in charge of mine and Blake work as you did when we were both preoccupied by her children surgeries. That is all. Beside you will have Alicia with you. Yes. Alicia is going with you... Don't make that head, you really think I will let go of my reasons to live like that, mmm? The three of you are, you know it... My girls. I promise I will come to you. You have to believe me."

Almost convinced by her explanations, Lorelei couldn't pinpointed the reason she still felt like there were something not right. Noticing her internal battles Katiandra smiled, even though her heart was in pieces, relieved they were ahead of the things that had to be said.

Stopping her mind the only way she knew could work, as she did the previous days, she pushed her head tenderly to hers in a passionate kiss that left them both short of breath.

"This moment I want to cherish love. I want to hold you, kiss you, keep you on the tip of my fingers to feel your presence, all the time you will be there. Like I would fill water in a bottle to travel on a desert. That is what it will be, nothing pleasant but it won't be hell. Because now I know you exist and you are mine. You are so precious to me that I will always find you.. remember that we were mean to be. We found each others before. Nothing can break us apart, not time, not space."

Peppering kisses on her face to overwhelmed her as she knew it affected her, Katiandra slowly end on the soft lips she adored lingering in a soft but real one.

"You know, that dream you told me, is one of the sign out of many, I hold on to know it was written... US. Unconsciously we always gravitated around each others from the beginning. Making sure life treats us well. When I opened that special section for gifted children it was designed only for you. I am sure of that." Moving her finger between them smiling she knew she got Lorelei attention.

"I know that the young girl in that vision, was Kathleen, and you were never in her bedroom. Just like I know that I will come to you again. I want a real smile now. Don't you trust me love? Don't you trust the universe?"

"I do."

Far gone in the cloud where love, the need to fusion with her soulmate in a  physically and spiritually level already engulfed her, Lorelei mind was still trying to fight throughout, having a hard time accepting their separation.

"There is no but love... We waited for so long to have this. Hmm, You waited on me love. What is two months ?... Only two months?"

Trapped Lorelei did not have time to think as her lover lips engulfed her in a mind and soul blackout kiss, it was so demanding that it had her forgetting herself as she responded eagerly.
