Glenn episode.
"Get out stupid dirt" Almost yanking Glenn out of his bed, Arthur yelled suddenly not in the mood of anything the scum want to do to him
Glaring at the disoriented woman who was hurriedly putting on her top not risking it to resulted on another punition like to be spank by a bodyguard, she almost stumbled on the carpet tripped by her own shoes.
The moment she was about to go out, his fingers clicked making her freezed on the spot. Looking back at him Glenn swallowed hard fear rushing in her vein, she could feel the one on her temper moved. She had never been afraid for her life like lately, the man was so touchy with his hand she wanted to be everywhere else than here that she knew was sure.
Smelling her fear, the man body emitted a spasm caused by a reprieve chuckle, his eyes casually navigated from her to his exposed body not minding her anymore. Not quite understanding what he wanted after pushing her away, she searched her brain which in her state made it difficult to think, cold sweat ran on her back making her shivered.
Closing her fingers in a hard fist behind het back she rummaged her brain almost panicking, this was her life! She knew the only thing that still had her standing was the frail but still stupid hope she still had, like the people addicted to novella series hoping love will find them and change theirs lives. For her it was not love she hoped for her life. She did not know if such thing even exist, for her it was the need to breath free.
Clenching her teeth her eyes roammed the bedroom then the crazy man, the term was too soft for him, he was a soulless person. Satan himself. Breathing shakily she could feel panic starting to make it's way in her body. She did not want to finish like her former colleague who was now a complete body rag thanks to the evil man.
She did not want to finish like her at all, with her shaky hand she wiped her crumbled apron feeling the material of her bra in the large pocket on the front, no time to put it on.
Sighing heavily by the slow way the woman brain was working, Arthur pointedly stared at his exposed lower part his fingers occupied to play a game in his smartphone that was never far from him, then his gaze took her in, redoing it a second time.
Hurriedly Glenn body moved to cover him with the silk sheets her mind far away from the view she would have otherwise admired. Today was not the day. What was the point of having the right equipment if the person was a mere demon. No amount of want could, it was for her the only thing holding her from a sort of life she could actually love to live. She hated hers like it was.
Day like these were when she felt the weight of her life like a trap she could not escape. Retrieving slowly to the door praying he did not called her again, she finally exited the double doors closing it behind her before leaning on it her hands clutching her torso her body shaking. Stiffening she summoned all the straight she could muster making her best to not cry.
Looking to the camera that was giving directly to the door then at the one hung at the end of the corridor, disappointment filled her seeing the light was off, she shook her head at how petty the man was. Never was those on, he had forbid it whenever she was with him which was at his every need which could be any moment. All to not risk another servant issue like with Enya. He had almost killed the young woman for not doing as he wanted.
Taking a deep breath she knew she was on her own, to know it was too defeating she had stopped dreaming of anything else. Straightening the most she could, she wondered why? Why she had to be born with the beauty she had? It was more of a curse than a blessing in a world where men like Arthur zurow exist.
She had tried to make some kind of joy come out of it by doing her best to enjoy it as she could but even the best laid could not outpassed how she felt after the act. So dirty and unworthy of life she always end up crying those nights.
Used, deprived of her own will, she knew it was not a human being life in anyway. She could make the difference with others people's lives, she was in a prison she did not know the ending sentence. An actual one would have be better.
She was his property for so long already she had forgotten what it feel like to want something else. The moment he had heard from his spies she had a boy hitting on her too persistently, he had rendered him dependent on a wheelchair. An accident they said he was involved in. But afterwards he came to her Promising to do worse to the next, forcing her to stay away from people.
Trapped she was, trailing in the corridor like a soul in pain, or more accurately seeing the state of her clothing, like a soulless gosh, seeking who to haunt, she was the one freezing when the click of a door opening not far away in the hallway was heard.
Before the person entered in her line of view, an expensive perfume filled the corridor going straight to brain by her nostril. It was like sniffing the best drugs, it made her feel light-headed reminding her in that moment the reality, beautiful things still exists in this hideous life she was living.
"Life is Not so bad." A part of her brain that was rarely out admonished her, it was weak, so she shook it off her brain not knowing if she could still believe it at some extent.
The Queen who wore the indecent odor, followed it exiting the room, as she did, she stopped at the sight of her. Brazing herself to what was to come. Never knowing with the woman whose moods could swing sometimes, even though rare.
Knowing what certainly happened to her, the woman paused, biting her lips reminding herself she had nothing personal against the maid. In fact the woman was what stopped Arthur to pounce on everything that moved with a skirt in the palace.
So beautiful she thought, that it was dreadful to see the pain in her eyes. She was the sun but people looking at her invariably made her be the one hurting. A really curse it was to have the king eyes on her from day one. Why not doing anything? Anyone with sense would ask glaring her way accusingly she could do something she is the Queen.
But been one mean harsh decisions to take. This one was one of them. It was a pain that save others she always believed, she knew Arthur, he would never lowered himself to anyone less than her, which exclude herself she had to admit. But around the palace and even out there not many could stand the competition, Glenn was the best prey.
The woman body unconsciously shook while she bowed her head to salute the Queen presence. Waiting for her instructions. So obedient, the Queen thought, that was at least a quality that made her still stand up and about as humanly as possible. Obedience was one thing Arthur was drugged to.
"Glenn how peculiar to see you here. I wanted to call you earlier, but...." Pointing behind her the Queen eyes met the fearful stare of the maid
" there is a mess in There stidy it all before I come back. Rosa daughter's brought me tea you can use some as I can see. It could be useful. It would be a shame to throw such good tea."
Looking her up and down to keep up with her reputation, not even closed to lost it around sharks she was about to walk passed the woman but decided to slow her pace near her ear.
"You look not so well dear. You may want to straighten that before appearing on people eyes. Make good use of that tea."
Almost murmuring the last part, she vanished in a wave of perfume leaving the young woman lost in what she wondered if it was a daydream.
Glenn blinked several times really wondering if she had heard it right or it was her overreacting memory. Like a skeleton moving she entered the Queen appartement like, slash very huge bedroom that was still full of the wonderful scent.
A small table where a shining service of tea was placed still warm by the steam coming out of it, was proof enough she had not dreamed. Rechecking if she had heard it right from the supposed devil's woman she shrugged her body feeling less cold at the woman act of kindness.
Did she judged her too hardly? True be tell, she was never bad with her that much. Mostly making double sense comments to let her know she knew. She was not a bad person what so ever as many thoughts she was. Maybe she even understood her point of keeping up the act.
With quick moves, not wasting time, she took the cup already containing some untouched beverage certainly the woman was in a hurry, she drank it right away knowing there were no chance she could catch disease from her. The Queen was a clean freak that on her health too.
Her throat was so parched it hurt, the tea was a real welcome wonder by how peaceful it made her feel, better.Taking in the smell of it, she nodded knowing what it was. It was the one the Queen always had after a fight with her husband or a hard day. It calmed her nerves she said which was true.
Shaking her head she served another round then another, only God knows it was something very hard to deal with the king one needs, a lot of strength it took.
His wife was the only one knowing what to do most of those nights. She always know what will work each time. Sitting back on the beautiful carpet, resting her head lazily on the chair next to it. Feeling her body relaxed, comfort filling her body.
It was good to be rich she thought chuckling. At least she could navigated around it, ramroaming. she was respected by the others staff members mostly the girls, they all envied her. Not knowing the suffering it was.
In the king good day it was passable but they were never around when it get ugly. Exalting she shook the images coming out of her head away focusing on the now, in awe of her surrounding, at least she could see all the things the Queen used sometimes when she knew the woman will not return early she could even tried them on.
Even when the woman was on normal days like today, she would be nice to her giving her piece of her advise. She was in a way what held Glenn from commiting suicide. The woman was strong. More than once she had find her fighting her husband tooth and nails she knew how he was like that. That was certainly why she took pity of her.
Knowing it will take at least four hours to see her in the palace again, Glenn laid on the carpet one hand on her belly breathing slowly.
She would have to clean the room up later even if it was not really out of place, the Queen concept of cleaning was mostly polishing surfaces that was already spotless by the many cleaning it take.
Playing with her other hand in the furly carpet she relaxed. If only it was always like this. She wished before closing her eyes for a small rest.
Lazily coming out of his bed after hours of playing this game he liked, one thing his wife never lost opportunity to remind him was childish for his position as a king. A way to call him stupid he knew. King Arthur threw his phone somewhere on the bed standing making the sheet that was covering him falling on the carpet not his problem.
With feline movements he did his routine from the toilet to the bedroom wearing his clothes slowly his mind far away.
There was this thought that was nagging him for almost a long time. To long he thought shaking his head. He knew it was not only is unbrided mind taunting him.
Leaving his room he strode to the diner room pleased to see at his entry what was left of his family was already there. His eyes lingered on his wife body appreciating her yummy body. Impassible she saw him doing so not showing any emotions before looking back at their heir son. Sitting nonchalantly he licked his lips his eyes still on her. At least she could not take that from him he thought smiling at them all.
